Chapter 1: Well, this is simple and beautifully expressed in my opinion. The words you used and phrased seemed just right.

If I had to kick up a fuss about something (just if), it would be the font size. /sweatdrop/ It kind of hurts my eyes, but don't worry. Zooming is a really handy tool.
