"Kim Jongin! Come here this instant!" A loud voice roared through the halls. Kai froze hearing his father with such tone. "Tch! What could it be now?" He hastily walked along the long hallway from his room. Kai reached a 10-foot door at the end of the hallway, leading to the living room, which should rather be called a ballroom because of its enormous size. The door creaked open, revealing a pair of threatening eyes. "Yes abeonim?" "Explain these!" His father yelled as soon as he walked in and threw a suspicious envelope down the floor. Kai bent down to pick it up and curiously peered inside. He took out the white sheet of paper, which were actually the report of his whereabouts yesterday. And yesterday, as a matter of fact, he was out dallying with some of the noble vampire princesses. When he read the words written, he was not the slightest bit surprised at all. "What about it?" His father stood up with a heavy tread of his foot. "Why do you always act so recklessly? Have I not warned you about these kinds of things?!" "Abeonim, I was just playing. You know how I am." Kai chuckled, shrugging off his father's anger. "Silence!" His father ordered, causing him to flinch. "You are aware that you have a fiancé don't you? We might lose the opportunity to negotiate with their family! And you know how respected they are in our society! So you'd better quit acting like a brat and get your priorities straight!"
