Take a Chance on Me [Hiatus]

A/N: Hey guys. :( I'm sorry for updating late! These past few weeks have been pretty hectic for me and I couldn't get myself to post this chapter during those times.

But anyway, here's the update! :)

Jessica stood by the entrance of the beach resort. She was wearing a summer beach dress which ends barely made it to her knees. Her slightly blonde locks flew freely past her shoulders, its tips perfectly curled. Although she was obviously not trying to stand out with her simple outfit, still she earned some stares coming from others because of her oozing appeal.

She took a glimpse at her wristwatch and noticed that she was ten minutes earlier than the planned time of her meeting with Taeyeon. Jessica wasn't the type to even care about being punctual, but today she woke up extra early just so that she could prepare well for this outing. Just thinking about spending two days at the beach with Taeyeon urged her to get out of bad even if the sun wasn't rising yet.

The sun was shining brightly up in the sky which caused beads of sweat to form on the blonde's forehead. She tried fanning herself with her hand but it wouldn't work. She decided to grab a cold beverage while waiting for Taeyeon. But as Jessica started walking inside the resort, she accidentally bumped into someone.

"Ouch!" Jessica felt her shoulder bump against another. She was about to apologize until she met eyes with the other person. Her eyebrow raised up questioningly. "Tiffany? What are you doing in here?"

The said girl was wearing her own light pink summer dress, her hair designed with a fabric headband. She looked beautiful as well, and she also had that exact same surprised expression on her face. "Jessi! What a coincidence to meet you here."

Jessica looked at the younger girl from head to toe. "What are you here for?"

"Well..uhm..I'm here for a short vacation." Tiffany answered with slight hesitation. "I'm guessing you're here for the same reason?" Jessica only responded with a nod. The two foreign girls just stood facing each other, an awkward tension rising between the them.

"So.." They both said at the same time.

Jessica motioned the younger girl to speak first, allowing Tiffany to clear before asking a question. "Are you alone or are you with someone?" But before the blonde could even respond, their conversation was disturbed once a yellow jeep suddenly parked right before them. The owner of the said vehicle stepped out of the driver's seat and appeared before Tiffany and Jessica's eyes.

"Hi guys!"

Taeyeon flashed her dimpled smile, causing the hearts of the two other girls infatuated with her flutter in delight. She threw her car keys to the young servant boy who offered to park her jeep somewhere before approaching her two bestfriends.

"Taetae!"

"Taengoo!"

Both Tiffany and Jessica rushed towards the newly-arrived girl. Taeyeon could only smile at them brightly as the two girls quickly occupied her two arms and clinged onto them possesively. "It's great that we're all here. This is going to be a fun outing!" The shortest among the three chirped happily.

The trio then headed inside the resort and entered a small hotel where they would be staying for two nights.

"The two of you should stay here. I'll go get us some rooms." Taeyeon told them before walking towards the hotel register. Meanwhile now that Taeyeon was gone, it gave the other two some time to deal with each other.

I can't believe she's here. I thought this was only going to be me and Taeyeon. - Jessica

So much for having some alone time. I don't think I'd even be able to stare at Taeyeon for one whole minute without her doing the same thing at the same time. - Tiffany

They looked at each other but quickly broke off the contact. They both recalled the little 'competition' they were having, and surely none of them are going to let this outing go to waste.

Jessica knew Tiffany was her friend and indeed she loved her dearly. But knowing that she wouldn't be able to have Taeyeon for herself, she felt dissappointed. Tiffany was having the same feelings as well.

"Well, let's just make the best out of this vacation." Tiffany pointed out as she tried to break the silence.

"Yeah I guess so." The older girl agreed.

Just in time Taeyeon had returned. She approached them while waving two keycards in the air. "I just talked to the manager and he told me that the hotel is fully booked and there are only two rooms left available." She explained, referring to the two keycards she was holding on one hand. "Looks like one  of us will have to stay alone in one room."

An idea immediately popped into Tiffany's head. This was her chance to earn some points on Taeyeon. She had to grab the opportunity to share one room with Taeyeon.

"Let's room together Taetae!" Tiffany exclaimed while clasping her hands together with her eyes sparkling with delight. "Jessi could stay at the other room!"

Jessica sent her a short glare. Who says so?

Taeyeon turned to Jessica with a small frown. "Are you sure you're okay with that?"

"Of course.." Jessica flashed a sweet smile, leaning a little close towards Taeyeon. The eldest of the three slowly moved her head backwards as Jessica's face inched closer towards hers. In the end once the tip of their noses were touching, the blonde smirked and swiftly grabbed one keycard from the shorter girl's hand. "..not. Because we're gonna share a room together Taengoo."

As she pulled away, Taeyeon gasped out heavily. It was kind of awkward how Jessica leaned up so close to her. Tiffany on the other hand, did not light witnessing that sight a while ago.

"Sorry, but I already asked Taetae to room with me." Tiffany stated in a firm tone. She stood beside Taeyeon and held her hand. "First come first serve."

"No way." Jessica positioned herself on the other side of Taeyeon before hooking her arm around the older girl's. "I don't believe in such things as 'first come first serve'."

"You guys.." Taeyeon was having a bad feeling as to where the conversation was heading.

"Oh come on! I asked Taeyeon first and she said yes!" Tiffany exclaimed, now glaring directly at the blonde.

"I never heard her say that! She asked for my opinion and asked if it was okay and I said no! So I have the right to ask her to room with me too." Jessica retorted, her eyes having the same intense look like the other foreign girl.

"I asked her first!"

"It doesn't matter! She never agreed!"

"But she will!" Tiffany faced Taeyeon with hopeful eyes. She squeezed Taeyeon's hand and pleaded with her adorable puppy-eyes which were too cute to resist. "Right Taetae?"

Taeyeon gulped, having a hard time to spill out the words from . Tiffany's cuteness was one of the things she was fond of, and it was urging her to give in. But before she could speak, she felt someone grip tightly onto her arm. She looked to her left and saw Jessica pouting cutely at her.

"But Taengoo.." Jessica flipped her hair over her shoulder and continued to pout her shiny lip-glossed lips. "You know I don't like sleeping alone in an unfamiliar place." Taeyeon opened her dry mouth but nothing came out. She looked back and forth between Tiffany and Jessica, not knowing who to choose from the two girls who were pleading her with their aegyo.

"Enough!" Taeyeon suddenly remarked, releasing herself from their grip. She waved her hands frantically in the air before using it to massage her temples. "I've had enough."

Jessica and Tiffany moved away from her, surprised from her sudden outburst. Taeyeon sighs out loudly as both of her shoulders dropped. "I've made my decision." Anticipated looks were seen all over the two younger girls' faces. But those anticipated looks faded once Taeyeon spoke again. "I'll be the one to stay in one room alone. You two could stay at the other one."

"But Taetae!"

"Taengoo yah!"

"It's okay, I'll be fine." Taeyeon reassured them with a small smile. "I like to sleep alone anyways. You two should accompany each other but please, no bickering."

Tiffany pouted in defeat whilst Jessica just rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. It took a while before they finally accepted Taeyeon's decision before they went up to their designated hotel rooms.

---

Taeyeon stared at her reflection on the mirror.

She smiled in satisfaction upon witnessing her current appearance. She had just finished unpacking her stuff and about twenty minutes she'll be heading down to meet with her two friends.

Her two friends, Jessica and Tiffany.

Up to now, Taeyeon is not quite sure how she became so close with these two girls. She was always treated as a nobody ever since highschool began. Taeyeon didn't participate in any kind of club or sports at school and she barely mingles with other students. She's often a loner and nobody hangs out with her that much because everyone else thought that she was just a girl who had passion for studying and had a horribly boring personality. That was what Taeyeon used to think of herself too.

But that was until she met these two.

Tiffany was a part of the cheerleading team and was voted as most popular during their highschool days. She was famous among boys and had many suitors whom she all turned down for a reason that nobody knew. Taeyeon met her when she accidentally saved the girl one day from getting hit by a car on the street. Ever since then, Tiffany has been so thankful to her and the girl would often cling onto her.

Jessica, on the other hand, was the star player of their school's female soccer team and a member of the singing club. She was also famous for her radiant beauty and her fierce personality. Everybody respected and feared her because of it. Taeyeon met her when Jessica accidentally hit Taeyeon on the head with a soccer ball during one of their practices.

She smiled at the memory. Back then the three of them were so close and they did almost everything together. She finally realizes that they haven't been spending much time because of her short depression.

But this time, I have to make it up to them. The two people who accepted and appreciated me for who I am.

Her thoughts dispersed once she heard her phone ringing. She picked it up and saw a message coming from a good friend of hers.

[Sooyoung: Hey. Just wanted to let you know that the date is scheduled next week FRIDAY. Don't be late. And make sure that you won't make my cousin cry or I'll break your bones the next time I see your face at the bar. ^^]

A small smile tugs at the corner of Taeyeon's lips. Finally, there are going to be some excitement in her life.

---

"What's taking her so long?"

Tiffany rolled her eyes upon hearing the other girl's complaint. Jessica was never the patient type, even though they have only been standing there for almost two minutes. After another minute Taeyeon appeared jogging towards them, already wearing her swimming attire.

"Wow Tae! You look nice!" Tiffany beamed as she noticed the short girl wearing a one-piece swimsuit and a pair of short shorts.

Taeyeon smiled. "Thanks--" But her jaw dropped the moment her eyes landed on the small fabric of clothing that her own friends wore. The two were only wearing two-piece bikinis that shamelessly exposed their glorious bodies. Taeyeon swallowed hard at the sight of Jessica and Tiffany looking completely exposed with those swimsuits. "Woah." She unconsciously muttered under her breath.

"Are you okay Taetae?" Tiffany asked as she placed a hand over the shorter girl's forehead. Taeyeon rudely spanked her hand away as she backed off, her cheeks beet red. "What's wrong?" Tiffany felt a little hurt at Taeyeon's gesture.

"I-I'm fine.." Taeyeon tried so hard to look at everywhere except at her lovely bikini-model-like friends.

Jessica was standing by with a smirk on her face. "Yeah she's fine. Actually, Taengoo's a little hot." Her sentence only caused Taeyeon's ears to redden. Noticing the reaction, the blonde started taking steps towards the blushing shortie. "Why Taengoo? Why aren't you looking at me?" She grabbed Taeyeon's chin and forced the latter to look at her in the eye. Jessica smirked again.

Tiffany noticed that Taeyeon was becoming uncomfortable, so she pulled Taeyeon away from Jessica. "That's enough. You're scaring her Jessi."

Jessica only smiled. "Oh come on, I was just playing around." She then spun around and started walking out of the hotel. Tiffany and Taeyeon sooned followed after her.

Taeyeon intended their beach outing to be something fun.

But how the hell could she have fun if the only things that she sees in front of her were her two bestfriends' butts swaying as though it was trying to get her attention. Tiffany and Jessica were walking ahead of her, which caused her to stay at the back. She really tried her best to not look and check out their bodies but it was quite difficult for her.

I am unfortunately cursed with ertedness.

"Taengoo?" Both Jessica and Tiffany stopped in their tracks and turned around to face her. "What's up with you? Walk with us and stop getting yourself left behind." Before Taeyeon could even oppose, the two girls already grabbed her arms and hooked their own around it. Now Taeyeon felt things had gotten worse once she was squeezed between her two bestfriends who were wearing nothing but bikinis.

The beach was filled with all sorts of people. Some are swimming in the salty water, others were riding on jetskis, others were sun-bathing, and some were just lazily hanging around on the sand. The sea looked blue and sparkly under the rays of the sunlight.

"Wow! It looks amazing!" Tiffany exclaimed excitedly. "Let's go swim now!" She started dragging both Jessica and Taeyeon towards the water but the shortest girl stopped her from doing so.

"I'm not gonna swim yet." Taeyeon said.

"But why? Don't you want to swim?" Tiffany asked with a pout. It was such a pain for Taeyeon to be witnessing her overly-hot bestfriend staring at her with a pout while she was on a bikini.

"I-I do. B-But I'm not in the mood right now. Maybe later." Taeyeon struggled to make an excuse. She flashed them a sheepish smile. "You two go ahead and have fun. I'll join you soon."

Jessica was quite hesitant but Tiffany only shrugged her shoulders before starting to drag the blonde towards the blue waters. Taeyeon watched as the figures of her friends dissappeared from the waters. She sighed and sat on the rough sand, bringing up her knees to her chest as she stared at a distance.

She then saw Tiffany and Jessica swimming in the waters, playfully splashing water at each other. She couldn't help but smile at her dorky friends. They looked so immature and childish that Taeyeon almost treated them like dongsaengs.

They're my dongsaengs. So I'm not supposed to stare at them and imagine dirty thoughts in my mind.

As continued to watch the two foreign girls play in the water, she couldn't help but notice how they also looked as though they were filming a bikini commercial. Taeyeon shook her head and tried to end her thoughts which were related to bikinis and butts.

-30 Minutes Later-

"Oh no, Jessica!"

Taeyeon felt as though her heart was about to burst out of its chamber. Just a few minutes ago her friends were enjoying and having a good time in the water, that was the case until one of them started drowning. At first Taeyeon had no idea what was going on until she saw Tiffany struggling to hold onto Jessica while keeping her afloat. Tiffany desperately yelled and waved one arm to call for help.

Taeyeon was striken. She didn't know what to do. She does not know how to swim which she blamed herself for. She wished she could manage to just dive into the water and save her friends.

But she can't. There must be some other way.

And there was. Before Taeyeon could figure out a way, she suddenly got pushed off by someone which sent her colliding with the sandy ground. She looked up and saw that the person who pushed her was a woman with long black hair. She was wearing a lifeguard's uniform.

A lifeguard.

Taeyeon quickly leaped up to her feet and rushed to the shore. There she watched as the lady lifeguard rode on a jetski and drove onto the calm waters. She made it to where Tiffany and Jessica was, and managed help the two hop onto the water vehicle.

Soon enough Tiffany made it to the shore with the lifeguard behind her. Jessica was lying safely in the lifeguard's arms and she was gently placed on the ground. Tiffany was okay, but Jessica was unconscious. Taeyeon quickly rushed to the blonde's side and her heart ached with worry.

"Sica! Sica!" She tried waking her up but it was no use.

"Jessi.." Tiffany was close to tears and it was evident to her eyes that she was afraid.

The lifeguard hovered herself on top of Jessica and started applying CPR to the unconscious victim. People gathered around them and watched with anticipation as to how the lifeguard stuggled to save Jessica's life. The lifeguard continued to press on Jessica's chest with her hands.

"One..two..three..four!"

Finally the blonde coughed and water spilled out of . The people around them gasped and some sighed in relief. Taeyeon was totally relieved as well, all she wanted to do was to hug Jessica tightly. Tiffany smiled hopefully as she watched Jessica slowly open her eyes.

"Jessica! Jessica!" Taeyeon was yelling so loud as she held the blonde's hand.

Jessica opened her eyes fully, and she glanced around her surroundings. She looked to her side and saw Taeyeon's brown onyx eyes staring down at her with pure worry and concern. Her pale lips stretched into a small smile. "Taengoo.." she tried reaching out for Taeyeon's cheek.

"She's fine. But she needs to rest." The lifeguard stated. She suddenly wrapped her arms around Jessica's body and carried the girl up as she stood. The lifeguard then turned to Taeyeon and asked, "Where's your hotel room located?"

---

Jessica woke up as soon as she felt a warm and soft feeling underneath her. She opened her eyes and had found herself inside the hotel room which she shared with Tiffany. She slowly sat up and brought one hand to her aching head.

The door opened and in came Taeyeon, bringing along a tray of food. She placed it on the side table before sitting down on the edge of the bed. Taeyeon shot the younger girl a small smile.

"How are you feeling?"

Jessica smiled back. "Honestly, I feel like crap." She giggled softly afterwards. "What happened?"

Taeyeon frowned as she looked at the younger girl closely. "You don't remember?" She asked which the blonde responded by shaking her head. "All I remember was that we were swimming and then I felt cramps on my legs and then...everything went black." Jessica stated as her eyes drifted into the distance.

"You drowned." Taeyeon said. "It was fortunate enough that a lifeguard rescued you. I don't know what I could've done if something bad happened to you." A frustrated look appears on the shorter girl's face as she lowered her head. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to do anything to save you."

Jessica smiles a little at the cute sight. It was one of the reasons why her heart beated for this girl. She was so caring and warm-hearted.

"It's okay." Jessica places a hand on the older girl's shoulder. "It's enough that you're worrying about me that much. I'm happy to know that you're concerned about me." She leaned forward and wrapped her arms around Taeyeon. The shorter girl's eyes widened at the sudden skinship, but eventually she returned the gesture.

"Thank you for always being there Taengoo."

"Of course Sica. You know I'll always be a bestfriend to you."

The last words were a sharp pain that stung Jessica's heart. It made her a little sad that this girl before her only treats her as a friend. How could Taeyeon be so clueless? Jessica has been giving out hundreds of hints about what she feels about her yet the older girl still doesn't get it.

I like you. I want you to be more than just a bestfriend.

As they pulled away from each other, Jessica forced out a smile on her face. Taeyeon got up from the bed but the younger girl quickly grabbed her wrist.

"Where are you going?" Jessica questioned.

"Since you look fine already, I think we better go down." Taeyeon stated as she offered the blonde girl a hand. "Come on lazybutt. Tiffany and Yuri-shi are waiting for us."

"Okay!" Jessica chimed happily as she took Taeyeon's hand before hopping off the mattress. But then she paused and shot Taeyeon a puzzled look.

"Wait, who the heck is Yuri-shi?"

---

"Hey guys!"

Taeyeon arrived at the lobby with Jessica clinging onto her. Before they left the hotel room the blonde complained about being a little dizzy and requested Taeyeon to stick by her side. But truthfully Jessica only used that type of excuse in order to remain in contact with the girl she likes. As they made it to the said destination, they were approached by a couple of girls. One was Tiffany and the other was a tall, slightly tanned beauty whom Jessica didn't recognize.

"Oh my gosh, Jessi, are you okay?" Tiffany quickly rushed to her bestfriend's aid. She examined the blonde from head to toe and grabbed both Jessica's cheeks with her hands. "Are you okay? Did you rest well?"

"Chill Tiff." Jessica smiles, removing the mushroom's hands away from her face. "I'm fine. By the way, thanks for saving my earlier." She exclaimed with a wink.

Tiffany acknowledged her gratitude by flashing a pretty eye-smile. She then pointed a finger towards the tall person standing next to her and grinned cheekily. "Oh I'm not the one whom you should thank so much. Yuri-shi was actually the one who saved your life."

Jessica raised an eyebrow upon the said girl who extended out her hand towards her and flashed her a confident smile. Reluctantly, Jessica grabbed the girl's hand and shook it a little before letting go.

"Hi. My name's Kwon Yuri." Her smile looked charming and she looked physically fit. "You must be Jessica Jung."

"Uhh y-yeah. Thanks for saving my-erm- life by the way." Jessica thanked awkwardly as she bowed 90 degrees. Yuri softly laughed at her polite gesture. "Wow Tippani-shi's right. You're way too cute." The tall girl exclaimed as she stared at Jessica fondly.

Jessica looked away and tried not to acknowledge her slightly blushing cheeks. She never reacted to such compliments coming from strangers anyway.

"Yuri's one of the lifeguards here. She's a real pro, judging by the way she saved you earlier." Tiffany explained further with a slight giggle. She lightly punched Yuri on the shoulder while saying, "And she's so strong. She even carried you all the way up to our hotel room while you're unconscious."

"W-What?" Jessica whipped her head up and looked at the lifeguard with wide eyes. "You c-carried me?"

Yuri shook her head with a small smile. "No sweat. You were as light as a feather."

How embarassing. Jessica thought to herself.

"Yuri's a nice girl. So in order to thank her for what she did earlier, I've decided to let her tag along with us." Taeyeon stated as she threw Yuri a friendly smile. "Won't you, Yuri-shi?"

"Of course I will! It's good to meet new friends." Yuri answered with a thumbs up.

"You what?" Jessica glared at Taeyeon's way. It was more than enough that Tiffany was there with them but adding another one on the list didn't sound so good for her. It's just like she was given another distraction from gaining Taeyeon's attention. She intended this trip to be for the two of them, but now they're four.

"Oh. It looks like your friend does not like the idea of me tagging along." Yuri said softly to Taeyeon. "I guess I should just--"

"No Yuri-shi!" Taeyeon exclaimed. "It's not what she meant. She's just slightly taken aback."

Jessica rolled her eyes. Yuri could only smile a little as she glanced at the way of the ice princess.

For the next few hours, they spent their time lurking around the beach together. They swam together, had barbecues and beer together, and when the sun was almost setting, they had set a small campfire near the shore. The four of them circled around the bonfire and enjoyed the warm blow of the gentle breeze.

"Wow, it's been a great day." Tiffany exclaimed happily as she stared at the flame before her. "It's been quite a while since I had last been to this kind of place."

"Amazing huh? This resort is newly-opened yet it already gained a lot of attention from people." Yuri explained.

"Yeah. And this beach has a bunch of amazing lifeguards too." Tiffany stated while gently nudging Yuri with her elbow. The two of them laughed and soon enough Taeyeon laughed along. Jessica was the only one who kept her silence, remaining still on her position as her eyes were focused away somewhere along the sea in the distance. Tiffany noticed this and had an idea in her mind. She motioned Yuri to approach the quiet blonde.

Yuri did as she was told, taking a seat besides where Jessica was. The blonde was still quite and it seemed that she was too busy spacing out to even notice the presence of a human being next to her. She didn't notice it until she felt a warm breath tickling her ear.

"Hey there." Yuri whispered against her ear. Jessica let out an ear-piercing shriek as she nearly jumped in surprise. She looked at Yuri who was staring at her with a smile. "What do you think you're doing?" The blonde questioned.

"Hi." It was all the slightly tanned girl could manage to respond with.

"H-Hello." Jessica responded awkwardly. She had no idea how this stranger made it up so close to her. She shifted in her position and created a little more distance between her and the taller girl. But even so, Yuri would only follow her lead and would move closer.

"Ugh. What do you want?" Jessica asked in a nearly irritated tone. She gets it that this young woman saved her life, but she didn't have to understand why this girl was even bugging her with that smile of hers. "You looked lonely so I wanted to keep you company." Yuri answered.

"I am not lonely." Jessica shot her a cold look.

"Can't we at least be friends?" Yuri asked.

"Maybe. That is if you'd stop bugging me." Jessica had enough of this Yuri girl. She'd been practically trying to talk to her and smiling at her all day.

"Friends talk to each other. I've already talked with Tiffany and Taeyeon, so now it's your turn." Yuri reasoned out. "Let's get to know each other like normal friends."

"I don't want to!" Jessica suddenly got up to her feet, fists clenched and teeth gritted. The other three were surprised by her sudden move. The blonde sighed after receiving such reactions from the people around her. She sighed before going back to her old position on the sand. "Fine. Let's talk." Jessica gave in as she plopped her chin the palm of her hand.

Tiffany watched the two converse, a smile stretching out on her face which reached from ear to ear. Her plan has worked and now she managed to use Yuri to distract Jessica for a little while. Now that those two were preoccupied with each other, Tiffany grabbed the chance to have Taeyeon for herself.

"Hi Taetae." Tiffany greeted as she scooted over towards the short brunette. "What are you doing?"

"Staring up at the skies." Taeyeon replied with her head facing up. "There are so many stars above us."

Tiffany looked up as well, and the beautiful sight of a hundred stars welcomed her eyes. It looked so beautiful and it filled almost the entire sky. Back at the city which they live in, they could barely see any star because of the pollution. But out in the open, the stars have revealed themselves.

Tiffany shifted her gaze towards Taeyeon. The brunette girl surely looked like a kid with her child-like facial features and her short height. In every angle she looked so adorable and Tiffany thought she could spend the rest of her life staring at her like this. Taeyeon's pretty features was something a person could never get tired of.

"There is one star missing though.." she heard Taeyeon mumbling. "One star which fell down from the sky."

Tiffany looked up at the skies and tried to understand what the older girl was trying to say. "Star? What star?"

Taeyeon tore her eyes away from the sky and placed them on the girl beside her. "You. You're the star who fell down from the skies and enlightened my world." Tiffany looked at Taeyeon and their eyes met. The younger girl could feel her heart racing in that very moment. She couldn't believe the touching words that the girl of her dreams just told her about.

"T-Tae.." Tiffany was left breathless at Taeyeon's alluring gaze.

"You're my star Fany-ah." Taeyeon stated with such emotions. But after a few seconds of a staring contest between them, Taeyeon suddenly bursted into laughter. She was laughing so hard that she had to clutch onto her belly for support. Meanwhile Tiffany furrowed her eyebrows and wondered what was funny.

Once her laughter died down, Taeyeon cleared and wiped off the tears in the corners of her eyes. "Man that was awesome. I got you good Fany-ah." She chuckled a little a more and Tiffany still didn't get it. "Did you see that look on your face? Your jaw dropped so low it almost touched the ground."

Oh now I get it. Tiffany finally realizes. She was playing with me.

"It was a joke Fany, a joke!" Taeyeon laughs and claps all throughout the way. Tiffany sighs and could only force out a smile on her face no matter how much she wanted to punch the shortie right there and then. Taeyeon did drink a little which made her look a little tipsy and started inventing these jokes that Tiffany didn't even find funny at all.

"You look as though you were going to fall in love with me at the moment." Taeyeon added with a hearty chuckle. Tiffany clenched her fists and looked away.

But I am already in love with you, you fool.

---

It was almost twelve in the midnight and Tiffany couldn't get herself to sleep.

Everything was pitch black around her and it made her feel unsafe and uncomfortable unlike the way she'd usually feel when she's sleeping in her own bedroom. She knows she wasn't alone in the room but still she felt a little..scared. She tried numerous attempts of sleeping and even hid herself under the thick covers of the mattress. But nothing worked. She just couldn't sleep.

And then she thought of Taeyeon. Maybe only the feeling of Taeyeon's warm body against hers would make her go to sleep.

With this thought, Tiffany quietly got out of bed and made her way out of the hotel room. She then headed towards the door of the hotel room Taeyeon was currently staying at. She wanted to ring the doorbell but she was afraid that she might disturb Taeyeon's sleep. She didn't want to go back to her hotel room either.

She had no other choice but to try to check if the door's open. She grabbed the doorknob and mostly expected it to be locked, only to find out that it's not. The doors opened so she took this opportunity to sneak in.

As she entered the room, everything was dark too. But she didn't dare to turn the lights on since she might possibly wake Taeyeon up and that would be rude of her. So she silently tiptoed towards the bed and gently laid herself on the empty space on the mattress. She tucked herself under the blankets and felt another warm body next to her.

Without hesitation, Tiffany wrapped an arm around that person's body and hugged it close to her own. She smiled in delight as she could feel Taeyeon against hers. It was making her feel at ease and safe.

All is well, ends well. Until..

"Hmm..Taengoo.." Tiffany froze at the familiar voice. She was certain that it wasn't Taeyeon's voice since it was a pitch higher. Before Tiffany could move, she felt a pair of hands touch her arms which were wrapped around that person's waist. "Taengoo.."

Taengoo? Taeyeon wouldn't be calling herself that and only one person uses that name which only means..

Tiffany's eyes slowly widened in realization. This person beside her definitely wasn't the Taeyeon she intended to cuddle. She attempted to retreat her arms but the person beside her only gripped onto them as if she wanted them to remain wrapped around her waist. But Tiffany was persistent and she tried taking her arms back. Her actions only caused the person beside her to roll over to the other side so that her body was facing Tiffany's.

Tiffany could feel chills running down her spine once that person wrapped her hands around Tiffany's neck.

"Taengoo, hug me again."

Tiffany gulped as she forced out the words to come out of .

"Jessi, I'm not Taengoo."

Chapter 6: Three is better than two why not just ... Would be hilarious if like every ten or so chapters u add a temporary new girl going after tae with jeti scaring them away
