Guess.
What?!?
She can't comprehend anything of what's happening right now. It seems like everything is a blur and all that she's
hearing were the echoes of the words of rejection produced by the flat screen in front of her. I don't like her in any
romantic way. Park Shin Hye babo. She wants to smack herself for assuming that everything meant something.
Shinhye was sitting on her sofa staring into nothingness when her manager, Mr. Junhwan, saw her and was about to
make a rundown of today's schedule but decided to call it because he saw that Shinhye's not in the mood. "Are you
okay?" the manager asked, Shinhye turned her head towards the sound but still none of it she understood. Mr.
Junhwan was surprised when Shinhye turned to him for there were droplets of stars falling from her eyes. Concern hit
Mr. Junhwan and asked if she wants to clear her schedule for the day and just rest. She shook her head and wiped her
tears with the back of her hand, "I'm alright. You can tell me the schedule now." and smiled. Mr. Junhwan still felt
unsure but ended up obeying Shinhye.
After the rundown, Mr. Junhwan added, "Oh yeah, I almost forgot..." to which Shinhye replied "Hm?" "AITDOH gave you the lead role." Mr. Junhwan informed her hoping that it would lighten her vibe and it did.
"Really? Really? Really?" she jumped.
"Yes. You'll start filming in a week." Mr. Junhwan said knowing that she's just feigning enthusiasm.
"Hm? Why so soon?" she asked.
Mr Junhwan then explained, "They've finished the casting and since the drama is very long and they want to make the pilot episode leave a mark, they want to start as soon as they can so that by the time the deadline comes they'd be prepared." "Huh?!? They've finished the casting already?"
"Yes." Mr. Junhwan smiled at thought that she would be working with her 'best friend' again.
"Who will I be working with?" she
asked impatiently. Again, Mr. Junhwan noticed the insincerity of her voice so he smiled and left Shinhye hanging with
just one sentence.
"You'll eventually find out."
The band came home after a veeeeeery quiet journey. Yonghwa went straight to his room and grabbed the teddy bear
that sits there on his bed, "Babo, babo, babo, baaaaaaaaabooooo." then began punching it, "Yonghwa baaaaaaaabo."
Minhyuk heard this with his ear pressed onto the door that separates Yonghwa from the outside. He panicked and
went to go to the other two.
"Why do you think he was like that?" Jonghyun asked Jungshin while both are sitting down on the cushion that was
supposed to provide them comfort but the weight of their thoughts dominated its mere purpose. "You should talk to
him. You make people feel gooey and all. I'm sure you can handle him." Jungshin thought about this, "It's not that easy
Hyung. It's different this time." Minhyuk shouted rushing inside the room, "Hyung! Hyung! Hyu-" Jungshin held up
one finger to stop him, "Yeah. We know." Jonghyun said.
"So what do we do then?" Minhyuk asked scratching the back of his head.
"We've been thinking about that since we came back home." Jonghyun replied, annoyed now.
"Ah! I know. I thought of something." Jungshin cheered.
All of them joined in and before you know it, Jonghyun and Minhyuk are hitting Jungshin on the head, "Baaaaaaaaaaaabooooooooo! Babo! Babo!" they chanted.
"Stop! Stop it." Jungshin pleaded.
"What the hell is happening here?!?" the voice of a girl cut in and stopped the madness.
All of them looked up to a girl standing at the doorway and with surprise they all said in unison, "Oh! Seohyun."
