It was Valentine's Day.They usually eat out and go to a noraebang nearby. This year, it's different. Kai had been ignoring Luhan since yesterday. It worried Luhan so much so he decided to go and talk to Kai.

 

"Jongin-ah..", Luhan knocked on his bestfriend's room, "It's Luhan."

 

No answer. He waited and sat beside the door. Moments later..

 

"Kim Jongin! Open the goddamn door!", Luhan slammed a hand on Kai's door. 

 

Kai opened the door, looking down to his feet, "H-Hyung, I'm l-leaving..", Kai said. He left the door open and sat on his bed, propping his elbows on his knees and cradling his head on his hands.

 

Luhan stared as Kai does so. He can't believe it. The man living with him for 7 years. His bestfriend. His bestfriend that he'd been secretly loving for a long time now is leaving. "N-no. Y-you're not.", Luhan said, on the verge of crying. "Y-you're not l-leaving J-Jongin.",he ran away from the door, went to his room, slammed the door close, and leaned on it. He cried. He walked to his bed, but suddenly lost his energy and fall down on the floor.

 

Kai ran after him, not expecting that kind of reaction from his hyung. He flinched when he heard the door slam. He ran back to his room and grabbed the spare key for his best friend's room.  When he ran to where the room is, he heard sobs. Desperate sobs to be exact. He walked slowly to the door and unlocked the door. He slowly opened it, and saw Luhan curled up in a ball in the middle of his room, shoulders going up and down, body shaking, and sobbing. He walked to the curled up figure on the floor and slowly got Luhan up, against his chest. "Ssssh. Gege..", Kai mumbled. Luhan's cries just got worse. He cried harder. "K-K-Kai.. P-please.. D-don't..D-don't leave..", Luhan spoke in between sobs. Kai just held him tighter. He felt a sting in his his heart seeing Luhan like this. He turned the crying man around and hugged him tightly. Luhan wrapped his arms tightly around the Kai's neck, still crying. Kai rubbed his back and sighed, "Gege..please..stop crying.". Luhan just kept on crying on  his shoulder. Kai sighed and scooped Luhan off of the floor. He carried him to his bed. He laid beside him and wrapped his arms around the latter's waist. 

 

"K-Kai. D-don't l-leave me. P-please. ", Luhan hugged Kai tighter like his life depended on it. "D-don't leave me.."

 

Kai kissed his forehead, "Okay, I won't leave you anymore. Now stop crying. Okay?" 

 

Luhan looked up to him, "R-really? Y-you're not j-just saying that to m-make me stop crying a-are you?", he bit his lip.
