Hotel
An ELF Story
The moment I walked into Chan Gi's room I immidiately jumped on her bed and buried myself under the sheets. Maybe it was all a dream. I want to wake up from this nightmare.
"Tired from the fight?" Chan Gi said as she sat beside me.
I removed the blanket from my face and gave her a confused look. "What?"
"I didn't know you're a boxer!" she said as she raised her eyebrow and grinned.
"Oh no.. Y-you saw it?! How did you know?!" I was shocked to hear this from her. She's not much of a Super Junior fan so I never thought she'd be there to witness it all.
"You went there too?" I asked.
"What? No, never in my life!" she immidiately responded. She does not hate SJ. She just always gets irritated everytime I mention them..so I guess she's semi-anti.
"Well who told you?"
"I saw it."
"What? I thought you didn't go?"
"I didn't."
" But you saw it?"
"Yes."
She was enjoying this. That evil smile of hers never left her face. I've known Chan Gi since middle school and I know she's kind of a prankster. She's really beautiful but guys are afraid to approach her because they know she'll just look at them and give them a look that will make them run for their lives. Today she's in the mood for doing this irritate-my-bestfriend game but I certainly am not. Not after what happened at the airport.
"For once would you mind making sense?" I said with an irritated voice.
"Hahaha! I'm just messing with you. But it's true. I saw it."
"How?"
She looked at the far corner of the room where her small tv was placed.
" No. No No No NO WAAAAY!" could this get any worse?!
"Yes way. Man, you hit that Hee Seul real hard."
I covered my face and kicked the air. " Noooooo! Now EVERY ELF would know what I did!!"
"Coooooooooool."
"No you don't understand. They'll kill me!"
"That's the problem with you fangirls. You overreact. Can't they just let it go?"
"I'm afraid not."
"You'll be fine. Knowing you, you can somehow find a way outta here. Besides, if anyone tries to beat you up, I'll always be by your side."
Once again I removed the blanket from my face.
"Really?"
She gave me a sweet smile. "Of course..........Of course I wouldn't miss that for the world! Seeing you against all those angry mob? It's gonna be epic!"
I glared at her. Just when I thought she's being sweet, here she is.. making another joke about it.
"Nah, I'm just kidding. I'll beat them up before they even get near you." she said as she patted my head.
I knew she meant it but I just stuck out my tongue and got up. Then, I went to her closet and started to look for clothes.
"Do you mind lending me your yellow dress for a while?"
"Sure sure go ahead. Besides, you don't have enoug time to go back to your home to change. You'll be late."
This made me look at my wristwatch. I was suppose to meet my family at a hotel to celebrate my parents' anniversary at 3pm. I panicked when I saw that it was already quarter to 3. I immidiately changed my clothes and head for the door.
"It's HeeChul by the way" I turned to look at her.
"What?"
"HeeChul..You said Hee Seul a while ago.
"Whatever" she rolled her eyes and the tv.
I giggled and waved goobye to Chan Gi. I took a taxi and hoped that I reach the hotel before 3.

I made my way through the lobby, half running. I tried to find the restaurant my dad told me. Fortunately, it didn't take long for me to reach the place. I looked around and tried to find my family. A wave from my left caught my attention and I saw the happy face of my brother Min Seun .
"You're almost late." my dad said as I sit beside my little brother.
"Almost." I enunciated.
He gave a heavy sigh. "This fandom of yours is really starting to ruin our family's plans. It's good enough that we get to eat here for free . We should at least show up in time....and look presentable."
I immidiately grabbed a mirror from my bag and saw that my hair was so messy. I quckly combed it using my fingers.
"I'm sorry dad. I promise I won't do it again.. C'mon let's just have fun while were here. Besides, you don't see mom complaining."
I took the picture frame in front of the empty chair of our table and faced it to dad. Inside is a picture of mom.
"Yes dear, let's just let it all go. Let's just have fun okay?" I said, tryng my best to copy mom's voice. " and please let's talk about increasing her allowance."
My dad laughed at this. I felt good about it. It's been weeks since I saw him laugh like that. Lately he's been troubled with our increasing expenses. He always is. You see, my dad used to have this fancy pastry shop back when I was little. Ever since mom died, things got rough and got to the point where he has to close his shop and work here at the hotel. Lucky for us he earned his boss' trust and now he's the concierge manager of the hotel. It's not a big position but at least it can support our family. Today his boss let us eat here and even use one of the hotel rooms for one night for free in celebration of my parents' anniversary.
"That's your mom alright." said dad, still smiling. "But I know she's with me about the whole allowance thing. If she were still here she'd go on my side about that."
This made me a bit sad. It's been 10 years since that tragic accident happened. Even so, I still feel a slight pain whenever I hear those words: If she were still here..
My dad realized what he said and the smile on his face slowly disappeared.
*silence*
Suddenly Min Seun grabbed mom's picture and pouted.
"Eommmmaaaa! I'm hungry! Tell them to buy me lunch now!!"
This brought back the laughter on our table. Ah, my sweet little Min Seun. He always lighten the mood whenever we're in a situation like this.
"Better order before mom scolds us then" said Dad as he signaled for a waiter.

Heechul's POV
"Aiiishhh. It's really red now." I said as I looked at my cheek in front of a mirror.
"That's becuse you keep on poking it." said Yesung as he tied his black leather shoes.
"Why now? Of all the days an ELF could punch me, why today on a press conference?"
"I bet her punch was not that hard. You just bruise like a peach." teased Donghae.
"Ya, don't you irritate your hyung!" I warned. Tsk...these guys.
"Haha, don't worry. A little make up would fix that up." said Donghae as he fixed his tie.
"Where the hell are they anyway?" I asked.
"They're on the 7th floor taking a break or something." answered Leeteuk.
"Break?! They haven't even done their job yet!"
"Yes they did" said Leeteuk. "You were just too busy inside the bathroom. What did you do in there anyway?"
"Probably busy asking the mirror who's the fairest of them all." joked Shindong.
Everyone laughed except for me. I just glared to each one of them. I think it worked because they stopped laughing as soon as I did.
Leeteuk opened the hotel room door. "Relax will you? Just find them. Well be in the press conference room. Just go there after they finish putting on your make up. The others are already there." He signaled for the others to head out the door.
As soon as the door closed my mood lightened a bit. Good. Alone at last. I took a quick look on my face again in the mirror before putting my hood up and head out.
I better find those stylists fast.

Min Young's POV
After dinner, my dad and brother decided to head to our room and watch TV while I decided to walk around the hotel first. I'd been here many times when I was a kid and I remembered there's a big window here somewhere with a really nice view. I wonder what floor was that on?
I entered the elevator and pressed 9 without thinking. If I'm lucky maybe it's there. When the elevator door opened I saw a bunch of camera crew and tall pretty women and handsome men dressed in corporate attires. I assumed they were reporters of some sort. Is there a press conference today? I wonder who are they going to interview?
I walked around and started to look for the place. As I walked I couldn't help but remember what happened a few hours ago. I wonder how's Heechul doing right now? I'm too scared to even think about what he's feeling right now. I turned a corner and I suddenly bumped into someone and made him drop his papers.
I quickly apologized and helped him pick up the scattered papers on the floor.
"I'm very sorry." I said again.
He gave me a cold look and walked away.
"Pfft..rich men." I stuck out my tongue as he walked to the elevator. I then turned again to continue walking but bumped into someone again. I hit his chest rather hard that it made me tumble a bit.
To my surprise he quicly grabbed my arm to prevent me from falling. I looked at him to apologize for my clumsiness but my eyes just widened when I recognized who he was.
"H-Heechul...oppa"
