Day broke instantly inside the dome. One thing that could never be replicated in this advanced dome was a beautiful sunrise and sunset. It was a marvelous structure, but it couldn't completely cover the wonders of nature.

"Here take this, BoA should have let some animals in the dome. We need breakfast. I'll cover south west, you cover north west." He clumsily threw a dagger on the floor. Alex was still swiping crust off of her eyes. One thing she hasn't gotten used to was waking up earlyy, and sleeping very late. 

She slumped over a bowl and splashed water to her face, "Yeah sounds terrific, but if you think a dagger is enough.." Onew through another object down, it was a long, glimering sword. It's scabbard was made of fine leather, probably the skin of a snake. The hilt had more enscribings on it, in manibus, hunc gladium protegam. Alex translated it to be, in your hands, this sword will protect you.

She walked over to the corner where Onew was. He was crouched over a pile of weapons. Even though he was clumsy, he could work with weapons. he moved with clean, swift gestures. He sharpened daggers, then checked the bows. He then pulled out a bottle, the contents were purple. 

"Here, if you need this, it is a healing potion. It cannot heal you completely, just enough to be able to move if you broke your leg. It can subtley repair organs, but if you push to hard, it can ware off quickly," He pulled out a tiny pill, "If you need this, which i highly doubt, just swallow it. It will put your body in an extremely low state. You will appear dead. It is very useful in some cases, but for now you should be fine."

Alex took the pill and wrapped it in a napkin. She tied her sandal straps and climbed out the tree. Just coming out she could see the streams of light weaving through the leaves of the trees. "Hurry up! i don't want to stare at your all day." Alex looked down and Onew was right behind her. She jumped out the tree and had to blink to get used to the light.

Inside the base, no light could come through. Onew pointed to his ear and Alex the little headpiece in her ear. "Test 1 2 test!" Taemin's voice came crackling into her ear. "Okay, guy the perimeter is safe just head out. If anything happens i'll let you know."

Alex looked over at Onew, but he had already headed into the dense forest. She soon went running after. She kept her pace even, if she was a goddess, she was pretty out of shape. She stopped short when she spotted a pig. It was russling in a bush. She crept around the tree to face the hind of the animal.

She backed up and pulled her bow and arrows out. Aim. pull. shoot. The pig squealed and fell to the floor, lifeless. Alex jerked at the sound. never in her life had she killed another mammal. Not even her dog at the old house. It stayed healthy until it grew old. She went up to the body and tied it with her rope. She picked it up and headed back to base.

"Alex!! Watch out! there is a figure heading towards you!" She heard Taemin screech through the earpiece. She hid the pig and backed to hide inside the trees. She jumped to grab a higher branch when a figure came into sight. She covered herself in the leaves. A man in a robe walked in to sight. Alex slowed her breathing and watched as he sniffed out the pig. He looked around to find who caught it. 

Shaking with fear, Alex closed her eyes. the man looked up and skimmed over her. He turned around and started to walk away. Alex let her breath out and the man snapped around. He threw a dagger at Alex. She barely missed getting grazed by its sharp tip. She jumped to the tree across from her and shot a bow at the man. 

"Who are you?" She didn't remember reading about anybody ever being allowed in the dome during testing. "How did you get in here. I know you shouldn't be." 

The man caught her arrow, effortlessely. He took it and flung it back at her. Alex ducked and it shot over her head into the dome wall far above them. She had a feeling that he was trouble. She took off running in the trees. She jumped from tree to tree. Where should she go? she lept from tree. 

She hit something and nearly fell off the tree. Onew turned around, "What the hell? why are you here?" He looked astonished.

She looked behind her but nobody was there, "There was a guy. He wore a robe and was coming after me. He tried to kill me with a dagger."

Alex paced back in forth in the base, "Are you sure it wasn't just A member of troy?" She shook her head. No way. They wouldn't kill me, Alex thought. "You are hungry too. And don't forget that apparantely this is your first time with gods and goddess. It could have easily been your imagination."

"No, it wasn't them. And i know i'm hungry, but i never hallucinate. I.... I know what i saw," Onew didn't seem totally convinced that some strange guy could just come into the dome during a test.

Well, when we get out of here tonight, then tell BoA and see what she has to say. They hid in the base for the rest of the day. Even though they were hungry, they couldn't risk the flag being taken away. Alex seemed too afriad to hunt on her own anyway.

"Three more minutes. When time is out, there will be a huge siren and all the terrain will dissappear." Taemin said. He looked over at Alex and she smiled at him. He blushed and turned away shyly.

Not soon after red flashed and a bell rang. It pierced through everyone's ears. The bunker they were in started to fade away. In a matter of second, all that was left standing were the two teams and there equipment.

"Man! look! they were RIGHT THERE! they hid under ground! why didn't we even think of that?!?!" Minho seemed furious since he had lost. All of team troy seemed tired out. There clothes was covered in dirt and they were dirty. 

"Sorry guys, but didn't you research up? Every year the teams would hide in the trees, so we decided to go the opposite." Alex retorted. A door opened and a man stepped in.

"Hello kids, my name is Mr. Hidra Lee. I am the Battle strat teacher. I presume the test went well?" Onew tossed over both the flags to the teacher. "Good. Team Athens! win!" He led the students back into the room to discuss there strategies.

Taemin stood up and explained what we structured. The three looked in awe as he thouroughly went through every detail of there plan. Class ended and Alex went up to Mr. Lee.

"Umm,, Mr Lee can i ask you something?" He turned in his chair and faced Alex

"Whoa! just call me Hidra, Mr. Lee sounds old. and go ahead shoot." He said making a gun with his fingers.

"Has anyone other than the participants been aloud inside the dome during testing?" He shook his head

"No neber. It would interfere with the test. Not even I, am allowed in. Only when one is dangerously injured." Alex nodded and headed out the door.
