Like every other time, Tao silently walked into the bathroom and dug around in the medicine cabinet next to the mirror.

Like every other time, feeling that familiar texture, Tao grabbed ahold of it and brought it with him to his bedroom.

Like every other time, Tao stuck out the silver blade and slashed it repeatedly on his wrists.

Like every other time, he watched grimly as the blood splattered on his wooden floor.

Like every other time, he sank onto his knees, and out, tumbling over.

This time, someone was there to clean Tao up and safely put him back into bed.

This time, someone was there to lean over and kiss Tao's forehead.

This time, someone was there to whisper, "No more, Tao."

That someone was Kris.
