Here is my Valentine's Day gift to you guys! I had originally started this as a Kyumin story, called "Fiction," but when waiting for my math class, I realized Valentine's Day was coming up, and my mind got carried away. I sort of dreamt up a whole new plot, and I didn't even know who exactly I was going to make the secret admirer be, until the very end. I hope you guys have fun trying to guess, or maybe you'll figure it out right away. Either way, I hope you like the story (as soon as I put it up, which might not be for a few days)! Here's just a bit of a teaser for you.

“So,” he started, setting the coffee down and leaning over the counter. “You’re looking especially cute today, Sungmin.” I giggled, and heard a choking noise from somewhere in the room, but I ignored it.

“Oh, really? What about me is so cute, Siwon?” There was probably some kind of rule out there about flirting with hot guys in front of your ex-boyfriend, but I chose to ignore it. Whatever Kyuhyun and I had, had been lost that cold night, and I deserved a little fun. Nothing wrong with a little harmless flirting.

“Your laugh is cute, and your smile, and the way you say my name is adorable,” he listed off. “But you know what would be really cute?” I shook my head. “You on a date with me next Friday.” 

Three minutes into the lecture and I found myself watching Kyuhyun, from the way he gracefully moved his pencil on his notebook, to the way his eyebrows would scrunch up in confusion, to even how his hand would move when turning the page of the textbook. His movements were a bit jerky, a sign of hidden frustration. Usually, I would be there next to him, and would always quell that growing irritation by placing a hand over his, and giving him one of my caring smiles. Today, all I could do was sit and watch from afar as he almost tore a page in his annoyance.

A soft groan left me, and was covered up by the loudness of the instructor. This wasn’t working, and I’d probably flunk out of this class before I learned not to pay Kyuhyun any attention. 

For such a happy holiday, I found myself extremely sad, at least until I opened the front door and saw a small bouquet sitting on the floor. I picked up the red roses and pulled out the little card that was placed in the flowers.

“Every Valentine’s Day should start with flowers, right?” I read aloud, smiling as I saw the sender only signed “Secret Admirer.”
