This story is about a magical deck of cards and their owner who doesn't believe in magic.

This girl had lost her mother on an early age and her father is depressed.

She can find comfort with her best friend Astrid.

Astrid is a huge otaku when it comes to magic and talks about it often, which makes the I-narrator think about her mother a lot.

Every card in the deck of cards has their own ability, this is decided on their number. 

The queens get a vision in which a message of help was sent.

They aren't the only magical book of cards, though every deck is unique.

They have to help out their fellow cards, but how will they manage when there isn't even unity between the symbols?
