Jonghyun was extremely tired. He didn't sleep well last night since he was doing some last minute revision. He dragged his feet to school, where he met Onew at the school gate. Jonghyun was startled and he started to think about what to say to Onew about yesterday.

J: H..Hyun..g?

O: Let's go in first.

Jonghyun thought Onew was really angry at him. He didn't say another word and just followed him to the school.

An hour before the exams, students were all doing their revision while Onew and Jonghyun, sitting at the school garden bench, could start the conversation. Finally Onew broke the silence.

O: You know what? I think you have...

J: Hyung, I know you will never forgive me.

Onew stared at him with his gentle eyes.

O: Why would I?

J: Because... because you are just like my father! Wanting me to become a doctor!

Jonghyun then stood up from the bench but Onew put his hand on Jonghyun's shoulder.

O: Sit down, you midget! And let me tell you something...

He hugged Jonghyun which made Jonghyun surprise. What...? Why? What's going on??

O: You know what Jonghyun? I am very proud of you...

Jonghyun suddenly pushed Onew away.

J: HYUNG! You are not Onew! Are you still sane?!

O: What is WRONG with you! I am Lee Jinki, pabo!

J: Then things you were saying are nonsense... lies! You would never be proud of me! 

O: Being a singer? Pssh... I never knew you want to be one...

J: That's right Hyung. I dream to be one and I will be one!

Onew was stunned. He didn't realise Jonghyun was dead serious. A broad smile appeared on his milky face.

O: Jonghyun ah, I think you chose the right path for yourself.

J:...

O: It's best if you take up a career that you have the passion for. That's what I am proud of. I'm sorry. Sorry for thinking that you want to be a doctor...

Jonghyun didn't react. He didn't know how to react.

J: Then... you are truly proud of me? Onew Hyung?

Onew nodded : Did you tell your family yet?

J: ... No... I don't know how to.

O: I really can't imagine how your father will react...

J: Yeah...

Jonghyun wasn't sure of which answer to choose for the last question. He did not know almost every question at section B. He was sure he was going to fail for this test.

After the test, Jonghyun dashed to Onew's seat to check answers.  Most of them were same.

J: Phew! Thank goodness! I thought I was going to fail!

O: That's why it's better for you to become a singer than to be a doctor.

J: Yah!

Taemin: Hyung, how was your exams?

Key showed a thumbs up and Minho just nodded his head. 

O: It was quite okay I guess.

J: Terrible.

O: That's because he didn't study.

T: Didn't study? Why not?

O: Going for auditions here and there...

J: Yah! I mean ... I didn't have time. Yeah, I didn't have time because I was... busy...

Key: O.O Wait wait wait... Auditions?

Jonghyun mouthed an I-hate-you at Onew. Onew shrugged.

O: Well, he was planning to be a singer.

T,K,M: MORAGO?!

J: I was planning to tell you guys later ...

T: Buy Hyung! What will your father say? What did he say?

Taemin pointed to Onew.

J: He is proud of me. I guess.

Minho: *facepalm* O'Really?

J: Yes, tall one.

Onew simply nodded: Well, it's his passion isn't it?

K: So did you pass your audition?

J: Yes. I did.

Key, Minho and Taemin's eyes widen.

T: Really Hyung? CHUKAHAE ^^

Jonghyun shuffled Taemin's hair: Our Maknae is the best~

O: I'm only worried about you father's reaction, what will he say?

J: I don't know Hyung.....

M: Tell your umma today, Hyung. She would understand right?

J: ... Now I'm scared...

O: Then why did you do it in the first place! PABO!!

J: I DON'T KNOW!!!

J: Ummonim... I have something to tell you...

Mother: Yeah? What is it? Did you do something wrong again?

J: It's not like that... I have... I have...I just... well, what would you say if... if I were to become a singer?

Jonghyun's mother went silent.

M: What do you mean?

J: I have had an audition...

M: ...

J: And... I was accepted by KJE...

M: What?

J: Umma! Can I be a singer?

M: Jonghyun... What...

J: I'm sorry umma but it's my dream. I have to take that path!

M: Jonghyun! My Son! I didn't know you want to be one! You should have discussed it with me first!

J: Mianhae umma... I thought you would not allow me... to...

J: So, do you accept?

Those fifteen words that his mother said made Jonghyun's heart skipped a beat.

He flung his hands around his mother and hugged her tight. She hugged him back lightly.

M: Jonghyun, although I'm not pleased with you for not telling me before, I'm proud of you... for finding your own dream and trying to achieve it.

J: You are the best Umma! Jinki sad exactly the same!! Haha.

M: I'm not sure about your appa though... I'll talk to him...?

J: Yeah... umma thank you!

And he planted a big kiss on his mother's cheek.
