The Only Light I See
Days passed, Krystal came to Jessica's place almost everyday. However, Jessica noticed something happened to her sister. She knew, Krystal came not only to visited her but she has another reason. But Jessica still tried to figure it out.
Today, Krystal planned to visit her sister as always. She couldn't help but to made it as a reason. She wanted to see her crush even though she knew it was wrong. Krystal shouldn't feel it towards the tanned girl, she had a girlfriend and she loves her girlfriend so much.
Krystal stopped at a cafe before she headed to Jessica's place. She wanted to have some coffee. She entered the cafe and found Yuri serving some foods on a table of a customer. Krystal didn't expect to see the older girl here. She didn't know that Yuri worked here.
" Yuri unnie.." Krystal approached the other girl
"oh hey, Krys.." Yuri waved
"you're working here?"
"uh, yes.." Yuri smiled nervously
"you never tell me.."
"it's actually just a part time job, but since today i have no lecture so i decided to work full time.."
"oh i see.." Krystal nodded
Krystal actually wanted to wait for Yuri till she finished working. But it would be obvious, and Yuri would probably notice that Krystal liked her. So, the younger girl decided to go shopping and then she would be back to the cafe again.
It took 3 hours for Krystal to spent her time in a mall. She bought some clothes and went to a bookstore. Krystal saw Yuri came out from the cafe. Something wrong with the tanned girl, she walked wobbly and the younger girl noticed it. She was sure that the older girl would collapse anytime soon. She walked faster but Yuri collapsed onto the ground before she could catch her.
Krystal was panic, she ran quicly towards the other girl and she found her unconscious. She then took a cab to bring her to the nearest hospital.
"what happen to her, doc?" Krystal asked right after the doctor done with Yuri
"she got a concussion, Miss.."
"concussion?"
"yes, concussion. It's better for her to take a surgery, because without surgery it will take many times to recover.." doctor explained
Krystal was busy with her own thought. She thought about Yuri's condition. She forgot to tell about Yuri to Jessica, Yoona, or Tiffany. She stared at the unconscious body in front of her and didn't realize that Yuri slowly woke up.
"Krys.." Yuri said with husky voice
"unnie, you're awake!! I was so worried, i'll call Sica unnie.." Krystal smiled happily and took out her phone
"no, please...don't tell anyone about this, especially Tiffany.." Yuri held her hand
"but, why?"
"i'll tell you later, but please promise me you won't tell.."
Krystal sighed, "i promise.."
Tiffany arrived at her apartmen, Changmin drove her home. She tried to refuse him, but he insisted. Beside, Yuri didn't fetch her and everytime she tried to call her, it always failed.
Tiffany thanked Changmin, and he drove off soon. She slammed her body on her bed, she was tired and she needed her girlfriend to be next to her right now. It was different, Yuri always there for her when she needed her. But now, she was nowhere to be found.
"stupid, Yul.." she murmured to herself
"where are you? It's getting late.."
She was upset yet worried. She closed her eyes for a moment to calm her mind. But she slowly drifted into sleep without she knew it.
"so, you've known that you got a concussion?" Krystal asked, soon after Yuri told her everything
"yeah.." Yuri nodded
"you don't want to tell Fany unnie because you don't want her to worry?"
"yes.."
"and if Fany unnie knew, she would probably ask you to quit your job and take the surgery, meanwhile you can't quit your job because you need money to buy a new place for both of you?"
"exactly.."
"but why?"
"i just want to give some space to Yoona and Jessica, and i want to have private time with Tiffany.."
"why don't you tell Sica unnie, or Yoona unnie? Yoona unnie is your sister.."
"i can't tell them, they'll tell Fany after that. And besides, i don't want Yoona to worry, i don't want to be a burden for her.."
Krystal sighed for the umpteenth time, "you love her so much, huh?"
"of course, i love her, she's my life, and her happiness is the important thing for me.."
Krystal felt her heart breaking a little. How could she win the tanned girl's heart? How could she make the tanned girl feel the same? It's wrong, the tanned girl has taken by the eyesmile girl. But she couldn't help but to be selfish.
How could i win from Tiffany? Tiffany is beautiful and talented. Moreover, Yuri loves her so much. -Krys
