CHAPTER 6

Leeteuk just came home from his schedules. He went to his room. He was intending to go to bed immediately because he’s so tired however, fate wouldn’t allow him. Instead of collapsing into his bed, he tripped and landed on the floor flat.

“Aish. I am really old.” He said to himself.

He looked at the floor and saw what made him trip. He saw a very messy room. He hadn’t had time to clean up because all his free time is dedicated to resting because he is really getting old. He then saw a box he hadn’t seen for a long time. He took it and opened it. It contains the most memorable moments together with s. It contains the most memorable because he couldn’t put everything in just one box because every picture, album, gifts wouldn’t fit in even one house. Being part of Super Junior has always been the biggest thing that happened in his life. Back then, he was just planning to be an idol but little did he know that he will be part of something bigger. He immediately got 14 brothers. He’s also the eldest out of 15. He really loves them so much. They are a part of something else, not just a boy band but as a family. A lost family that they never know until Super Junior was formed. Then one day, it started to slowly fade. Their love was there but they started to lose in touch with each other. The moment Super Junior was formed, the moment they started to love each other, they already knew this day would come. They had predicted this, especially him but he couldn’t believe that the day finally came. It was the time for them and their fans to finally put behind everything they shared worldwide. Super Junior brought together ELFs around the world. It was an unspoken thought for all of them but Super Junior and ELFs know that even though it’s done, their lives are changed forever. The biggest change yet that happened in their lives. Even though it’s done, it will never end in their hearts and minds.

But from time to time, he couldn’t help but think if he was a good leader. He couldn’t help but blame himself and wonder whether if he had been a better leader, Kibum wouldn’t leave and choose acting instead or he would be able to teach Kangin to be responsible enough not to have caused that accident and he wouldn’t go to the army earlier than expected or Hankyung would trust him enough to tell him the pain he was in then he wouldn’t be choosing to leave Super Junior for good. If only, he was a better leader.

While thinking this, Leeteuk suddenly realized that he’s crying. He put everything in the box and got up. He spent hours reminiscing the moments and after a few minutes, he fixed himself and got dressed and went to his next schedule.

He is actually one of the best leaders. Not only did he manage to make Super Junior so popular but he also managed to have all 14 boys forget their differences and unite with each other and make a family out of it. That act is extraordinary. Not even parents could do that but he managed to. Leeteuk did and all that is enough to make call him one good leader. He may have some flaws but still he managed to have all 14 boys unite with him. They may have fallen apart after some time but it wasn’t his fault. It wasn’t anyone’s fault but Leeteuk didn’t know that. Until now that he’s not the leader, he still feels responsible for what happened.
