AMBER's POV

I opened my eyes, I am in my room. I remember that I went home early. I looked at my clock, it is already eight o'clock and my stomach is grumbling. I got up, and I felt that I forgot something but I can't remember. I went downstair and saw Yuri in the living room, watching some t.v show.

"How are you feeling now?"he asked me.

"I'm fine right now. What's up for dinner?"I asked him.

"I prepare all of your favourite food."he answered.

"That's great."I answered then headed to the dining table.

As I am eating, I really felt that something is missing. I turn my head to looked at Yui but his attention is focus on the t.v. I finished eating my dinner, I washed my own dishes then joined Yuri in watching the t.v. Then he turn his head to looked at me.

"Is there something bothering you?"he asked me.

"I felt there is something missing. I don't remember what it is."I said to him.

"Just forget it, I bet it is not important."he said to me with a grin.

"Yeah, probably." I answered.

KRYSTAL's POV

What Yuri had said to me didn't left in my head. There are many questions forming in my mind. Who are those vampires who killed Amber's family. And what that's important thing that Yuri is referring. The only purebloods left are our clan and Minho's clan in this place. My families belongs to noble vampires. One of their parent is pureblood and the other one is a dhampir. I went into my dad's room. He is already 500 years old and I think he knows who are those vampires who murdered humans ten to fifteen years ago.

"What do you want to ask me, princess?" he asked me.

"Appa, did you know a vampires who murdered humans? Like the one who murdered the Liu or Kwon family?" I replied. He looked at me then he began to think.

"There are a lot of vampires who murdered humans nowadays, princess. Those who belongs to the clans that hate  humans."he answered.

My brows furrowed. I didn't know that there clans of vampires who hate humans.

"How come they hate humans?" I asked him.

My dad told me the history of vampires. I learned from him our origins and the reason why there are vampires who hate humans. I think the one who killed Amber's family are one of the clans residing outside our community. They are ruthless vampires who don't have mercy and are greedy for human blood. I think I will encounter them in the day of choosing who will succeed the thrones. I waited for Amber in our school the next morning. I really feel sorry for him. I made a promise in Yuri that I will not mention anything to Amber because he is sure that Amber will just forget about it.

"Good morning my Amber." I greet him with a smile when I saw him. I acted like nothing has changed.

"Good morning."he replied. Then he stared at me and looked me in my eyes. "Krystal, tell me what happened yesterday. I know there is something I said to you that I didn't remember now."

I think Yuri got wrong. I think Amber is still trying to remember everything. I shut my mouth, I don't want to say something to him. I don't want him to hate us, to hate me.
