''Shika, you're called to the CEO's room. '' my best friend, Ariel said to me. Ariel was called to the CEO's room before, and she got a raise. I wonder will karma be good to me today or not.

I walked to the CEO's room , trying to push back my thoughts on getting fired and stuff like that. Maybe the CEO wants to fire me? Why?? Maybe she wants to have a chat?  Thats ridiculous. And before I knew it, I was in front of her door.

I knocked on the door and heard the CEO say ''Come in.''

''Y-you were looking for me, CEO Yoon?'' I tered.

''Yes. I think you have heard that we have a new group. '' I nodded. ''Thats great. It will be easier that way. I'll be assigning you as their manager, since you have been here for quite some time and is capable of many things. Here are the infomation.If you have any problems, feel free to ask me or Ariel. You may leave now. '' CEO Yoon said as she handed me a stack of papers. I was quite dumbfounded, yet I just kept my mouth shut.

''Yes. Goodbye. '' I bowed and made my way out.

I fell down into a seat not far away from the CEO's room. Manager of the new group? I can't believe the CEO actually gave this job to me. She actually thinks I'm capable of this. I can't let her down. Would I ?

''Shika, whats wrong? '' Ariel said as she walked over, sitting at the empty seat next to me. ''Bad news?''

''I don't know. She assigned me to be the manager of the new girl group. ''

''Really? Thats great !! '' Ariel began jumping around in happiness. ''Lets celebrate tonight. I'll give you some tips and guidelines my dongsaengie. '' she coo-ed.

Maybe being a manager isn't so bad after all.
