PROLOGUE:

“Yah Jiyongie!” She called out for him as soon as she opened the transparent door in front of her. As usual his place is neat as ever. The maids are out for today, they’re in a day off.

“Why are you here? I thought you have to be present at the filming?” He questioned her as he made his way down to the living room and hug his bestfriend.

“What? You want me to leave?” She giggled and closed the door behind her and dragged herself in the couch of her bestfriends’ huge living room. She reached out for the remote at the end of the couch and the 80 inches LCD flat screen in front of her.

“I never said that.” He giggled and took the vacant seat beside her. It was their usual scene.. He had some popcorn in his hand, his right arm is wrapped around the shoulder of  figure beside him, and their eyes were focused at the television in front of them. Simple as that, yet it means so much in each one of them.

“So I wanna tell you something.” She started as she took a piece of popcorn in the bucket beside him.

“Me too.” He answered back, sipping in the bottle of Coca Cola and shifted his head in her direction.

“He told me he likes me.” She spilled, it almost sounded like a whisper but he still heard it. He bit his lip, why would he be shocked? He knew that guy liked his bestfriend.

“She told me she likes me too.” He stated, staring blankly at her eyes. She bit her lip, why should she be shocked? She knew it all along. The gal told her she likes her bestfriend a hundred of times already. Then, awkward silence, they didn’t know how to react in each other’s confession. Sure they are used to share this kind of things with each other but it felt just damn awkward that moment.

“So.. do you like him/her?” They said in unison. She giggled. What an awkward moment, they would usually brush off this kind of talks when their together but today..

“I dunno.” They once again said in unison. It was his turn to giggle. How long can he handle this situation? Why is it so awkward anyway?

“I guess we have to try.” He added as he brushed her hair and looked at her eyes. She just nodded and shifted her head back into the LCD screen.
