Be sure to lock your door
Unlocked Doors
Sulli sat on a bench of the school ground. Luna and the most popular girl at school, Amber, were playing football. Luna had the strongest legs she had seen and ran the fastest. Of course Sulli couldn’t tell her that because the barging into her room would increase and the amount of clothes would diminish.
She breathed in and out, in and out. Sulli was enjoying the breeze as she cheered for her friend. She smiled widely as Luna made a goal and even screamed her name. Luna was an idiot sometimes but she was her best friend. Of course, cool Amber didn’t look happy so Sulli was preparing herself for the show.
But just then a black butterfly came fluttering and landed on the tip of her nose. She looked crossed eye as she tried to shoo it away but her efforts weren’t working. It finally flew away when Sulli heard a small giggle from her back.
When she turned she saw teacher Victoria and all her goddess being. She was young, with a cute personality and beautiful. Sulli just might, kind of, have a tiny, little bit platonic crush on her.
“Teacher! I was um…”
“Don’t worry about it,” she said sitting next to her. Sulli’s cheeks were flushed red with embarrassment because of her previous get-the-butterfly-off dance. “I wanted to talk to you about an important matter.”
“What is it?”
“I heard that you saw something last night…”
“Luna told you!”
“No no no, I heard it around actually but your friend seems to have told some of your classmates.”
Sulli made sure that Luna saw the irritation form on her face. She knew that classmates equaled possibly everyone at school. Luna just watched back with equal irritation for she disliked teacher Victoria a lot. She called her an attention lover ever since Sulli accidently said she liked her.
“Is it true you saw a girl by your door last night?” asked the teacher
“Um… well, I’m not sure. It could have been a dream,” she said feeling silly but she couldn’t lie to the teacher. Besides she had been convincing herself all day that it had just been her imagination.
The teacher pursed her lips. “I have heard of a legend around the school and I’m not implying they are real but…” Sulli suddenly felt she was indeed implying that. “There had been cases in the past of girls… disappearing inexplicably so I hope you will be careful.”
Sulli felt a shudder run all over her body. “I will teacher.”
Victoria stood up and Sulli went to her feet like a spring. She bowed to the teacher and just before she left she told Sulli: “Be sure to lock your door.”
