Marianne "Mari" Shin wants nothing more than to re-evaluate her life. After graduating college and having to endure a terrible break up from her boyfriend of five years, she feels as if she's come to a stand still.  Mari has practically lost that enthusiastic and modest motivation that's kept her going for the majority of her life; and now there was nothing out there for her to see, there wasn't anything she hadn't done and there was nothing she needed to learn. So with some presuasion by her mother, she returns to Korea to hopefully find the desire to continue moving forward.

At least, that's what she hoped for anyway.
