Yes. Your story can be featured.

Featured stories are chosen by votes given by other users. The story with the highest number of votes and has never been featured before will be chosen as the new featured story on a weekly basis.

But you can also be popular. Not only by how many votes your story have, but also how many views, subscribers, comments. And yeah. Some stories are even recommended. Popular stories are, of course, located the Popular section beside the Fanfics and Users section.

And another one. You can now advertise your own story/ies. And once you win the bidding, your story will be automatically advertised by aff for twenty four hours. And I quote,

" Do keep in mind that the system will automatically take the max bid points from you if you are the current highest bidder even if the current bid is lower than your max bid. This is to ensure that you are not bidding more than what you actually have. The difference between the max and current bids, if any, will be returned to you after the auction. Needless to say, people who do not win the auction will not be charged the karma that they have bid."
