Description
Han Yeonhae, the youngest princess of the Joseon period, has no other wish than to explore and make new discoveries in the world outside of the humble palace.
When the King announces that on each princess's 18th birthday, they are allowed to go outside, Yeonhae is ecstatic about his decision.
Her 18 birthday finally arrives after what feels like centuries, and she coincidentally saves a Prince from his deathbed whilst on her journey.
However when she soon falls head over heels for him, it leaves only one question.
Will their story end up in a tragedy, like the stories Yeonhae has listened to, but never believed?

Hello! You guys must have read, The Little Mermaid right? If not, off to the library you go! I got inspired to write this for some reason, because this story has brought so many emotions to me and I was inspired by Exo's Baby don't cry. I am so in love with that song... This will not be a long fanfic. The most chapters it will have is 10. This is an historical fanfiction, and I hope you guys enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!
