My name is Alice. I was born for the purpose of discovery, or so was I told.

The people who harbored me mentioned that there was something special about me. More than any other human; even more than what siblings I might possibly have or had. And ever since my eighteenth birthday, I have experienced signs of this being 'special'; visions of places and smells that I barely know would vaguely flash in front of my eyes, yet there is an intimate feeling that runs through my body whenever I see those faded brown bamboo chairs and that tattered blue dress.

But out of all the visions, it is the fear and anxiousness, the relief and excitement -- these obscure feelings that occupy me whenever I see these six people. I can barely make out their faces but the heavy feeling inside my chest implies that they are of the utmost importance.

For what, I do not know. I must find out. I must report this to them.

       More than a hundred years ago during the Great War of 1378, seven people rebelled against The Southern Kingdom; a witch, a blacksmith, a scholar, a knight of the guard, a street rat, a merchant of the trade, and the crown princess herself. Records and reports from the Royal Family state that they were charged of treason; they had leaked valuable information with the other rulers, thereby leading to the demise of the Royal Family and the fall of the Southern Kingdom. It wasn't until the Civil War, where the opposing kingdom were defeated, that the people regained control of their land. The Royal Family, however, were not able to regain their status, and earned back only little of their honour.

       With the fall of the Royal Family and the ruling of the opposing kingdom; the charges against the seven criminals were deprioritized, and with the rumours that all seven were dead, soon forgotten.

       Hidden clues and reports, however, suggest that these seven had done something much more than just treason. These clues suggest that they were in the possession of something that equally affected the Royal Family and the opposing kingdom. Something that's supposedly called "Pandora's Box".

June 24, 2053 - Seoul, South Korea

Once again he has done it; Kim Jaejoong, the head of the infamous Quibus group, has revealed just a few minutes ago his latest invention; the Animus.

The Animus is said to be a virtual reality machine that is able to read a subject's genetic memory and translate it to binary data. Although it does not convert them to actual images and sounds, there are rumours that the Quibus programmers have been able to develop a private program to do exactly just that.

The Animus, to the disappointment of most enthusiasts, is not available to the public. Kim reported that only a number of prioritized individuals will recieve the limited supply of the machine.

With this latest addition to their arsenal, the Quibus group's stocks are on the rise once more.
