Jongup tried his best to keep his giggles muffled to himself during class. He had gotten another text from Daehyun that day asking for another date. The young dancer grinned at his phone. This was their second date since the last one a couple days ago and he couldn't wait to have as much fun as the last time. Daehyun just made him feel so...alive. 

 

Zelo stared at his hyung in disgust. Not disgust that his hyung was acting like a young high school girl, but because Jongup was so unaware of his feelings. It was painful to watch. Zelo sighed and shook his head. Should I tell him? he sighed once again.

 

"Hyung?" 

 

"Hmm yes Zelo?" What is it?" Jongup asked still grinning like a dork.

 

Zelo paused before asking. How should he ask? He bit his lip and shook his head feeling a surge of determination burning in him.

 

"How exactly do you feel about Daehyun hyung?" Zelo asked slowly slightly tilting his head to the side cutely. He tried acting innocent. He didn't want to scare his hyung now, did he?

 

Jongup looked at his dongsaeng quizzically. He too, tilted his head to the side slightly, confused with the sudden question. "What do you mean? I like him of course." Jongup smiled at his friend not knowing how oblivious he was. 

 

Zelo pulled at his hair in pure frustration letting out a long groan. How dense could this boy be?! It was obvious that Jongup liked Daehyun. Like as in like like. Zelo banged his head on the desk. Jongup poked his arm worried at his strange behavior.

 

How can hyung not realize that Daehyun is his first crush? Zelo groaned again stared at his friend.

 

Jongup pouted. Had he said something wrong? Of course he liked Daehyun. How could he not? The elder had been nothing but nice to him since they've met. And although he was supposedly using him to get back at his enemy it hasn't seem like it all. And plus Himchan wasn't even around during their last outing. So he could assume that Daehyun was a nice guy for treating him out and that the whole acting thing was a huge exaggeration on Daehyun's part.

 

"Jonguppie hyung. You are so dumb!!! Can't you see that you actually really li—"

 

"YAH! Junhyung! If I hear your voice one more time, I swear– I will boot your the the principals office in a heartbeat!" The teacher threatened waving her ruler in the air menacingly. 

 

"Y-yes ma'am..." Zelo gave up. Hopefully his hyung will figure out later on his own. But then again Zelo thought, probably not. His hyung was just too damn slow to recognize his own feelings. He banged his head on his desk once again.

"Daaaehyunnie oppa! Can we go out today? We have gone on a date in like forever!!" The girl pouted trying to use aegyo but it turned out to be utterly repulsive.

 

"Nooo! Oppa take me on a date today! You promised!" Another girl squealed and tugged at his arm. 

 

"Oppa!! What about me!?" 

 

"Uhhh no. He's taking me out today. Right oppa?"

 

Daehyun chuckled at the girls and wrenched his arm out of their death gripping hold.

 

"Sorry ladies. I already have a date planned out for today." He winked at them causing a slight stir.

 

The group of girls whined at their oppa claiming to be unavailable. Daehyun oppa was the guy all the girls aimed for after all. And Daehyun always was on a date with someone at least every other day. What could he say? Everyone wanted him. 

 

"Oooopppa!!!!! With who??!!" The girls shrieked.  

 

Daehyun winced and the unpleasant noise. He was annoyed now by the pestering bunch. He just smirked. "Someone much cuter than the rest of you girls". He smirked again and left the group of fuming females.

Daehyun walked through the halls humming casually, successfully ignoring the stares from the crazy fan girls. As he turned the corner he abruptly bumped into someone, causing the poor student to fall. 

 

"Oh man, I'm so sorr–" Daehyun looked to see the victim of his clumsiness. He scowled at his misfortunate luck at the guy on the ground. He felt a twinge of annoyance and hands ball up. 

 

"Himchan... It's so...nice to run into." He gritted his teeth. Such a lie. 

 

"Ah! Daehyun! Nice to see you too. I'm sorry for bumping into you. Clumsy me" Himchan laughed and face palmed in a jocular manner. He laughed at himself in a goofy way that would have made anyone feel comfortable. But this was Daehyun. And he hated everything about Himchan. There was no way he could feel comfortable with the likes of him. 

 

"So how's Jongup?" Himchan asked with pure concern in his eyes. It made Daehyun angry. Did Himchan think that he could be a good enough boyfriend to Jongup? Is this why he was asking? Yes, he did realize that he was a pretty awful person for using the boy, but he was nice to him and honestly thought Jongup didn't mind. After all, they were becoming pretty good friends. Right? 

 

Well whatever though because Himchan had just struck a nerve and Daehyun couldn't let it go. Time for this acting to get started. He thought and smirked deviously to himself. 

 

"Oh Himchan hyung, would you like to hang out with Jongup and me later today after classes? We were planning on going on a date but I don't think he'll mind. My baby is just way to thoughtful to turn down a group outing." Daehyun emphasized on the words 'date' and 'baby' hoping it would get under his skin. 

 

Himchan looked sad, or maybe frustrated, for a second but that was only for a moment until the happy guy smiled at the offer. "Sure. I would love to go out with you and Jongup."

"Hyung! I'm really excited for today! Where are we going this time?" Jongup exclaimed in anticipation. He was unconsciously tugging on the singer's sleeve and wearing a a cute pout on his face when all Daehyun did was laugh at him. 

 

"I was thinking about maybe we go and take a walk at the beach today. Maybe even play in the water." Daehyun ruffled the younger's hair, something that had become a bit of a habit to Daehyun. 

 

"Sounds fun hyung" Jongup smiled widely. He really had been excited for this. He couldn't help but like, no love spending time with the elder. He was fun and very easy going. 

 

"There's a change in plans though baby" Jongup flinched at the word baby. Blood rushed up to his face.

 

This is odd. Jongup thought. 

 

Jut when Jongup thought things could get any weirder, Daehyun had planted a light kiss in jongup's lips. If just being called baby caused Jongup to blush, this was close to causing the poor boy to faint. Jongup's face literally exploded for his face was such a deep red that it seemed impossible. His mouth was wide open trying to utter out a decent sentence but all that came out were incoherent words. 

 

"W-w-wha....w-why.....huh?" Jongup was having trouble standing up. Daehyun had just kissed him...in public...at his school. Other students were staring at him. Some judging, some swooning, some disgusted, and some even crying that the Jung Daehyun kissed someone. 

 

Jongup heart, once again, felt tight and ready to explode. 

 

Daehyun ran his hand lightly thought the dancer's hair. He brought his lips up to the boy's ear and whispered quietly, "Ready for some acting?"

 

Acting? What is he talking about? 

 

"Hello again Jongup. Nice seeing you again." Himchan seemed to appear out nowhere but actually he had been behind Daehyun the whole time. Jongup just didn't notice. 

 

The feeling in Jongup's chest deflated. He felt as if reality hit him with a bucket of ice cold water. Daehyun was just pretending to be his boyfriend. 

Oh yeah I forgot. He frowned sadly. Luckily Daehyun didn't noticed his change in demeanor. 

 

Wait if Daehyun was just pretending to his boyfriend, did that mean he was pretending to be his friend too? Did this mean there fun times together was all a lie? 

 

Of course not Jongup. Get a hold of yourself. Daehyun's a nice guy. He's your friend. 

 

He lighlty slapped himself at his little thought in his head, trying to scold himself. Good thing no one noticed.

 

Although he tried to believe it, it was hard to hold down his disappointed and doubtful feelings that was deep at the pit of his stomach. 

 

"Ah... Hello Himchan hyung" Jongup bowed hastily. He was the polite kid after all. 

 

Himchan smiled at the well-mannered boy, obviously staring at him adoringly. Daehyun noticing the admiration radiating from him and scoffed. 

 

He's not yours, he's mine. Daehyun grabbed his "boyfriend's" hand. 

 

"Let's go babe. Hopefully there's not a lot of people there" he beamed at Jongup then turned to Himchan with a fake one. "You coming hyung?" He added. 

 

Himchan stared deep in Daehyun's eyes with a look if determination locked in. He then looked at Jongup...as if he was a prize. It made Daehyun pissed. 

 

"Wouldn't miss it for the world" he smirked

Jongup sat down on the bench watching the two hyungs bickering like old ladies. He sipped his soda silently observing the show. 

 

They had just arrived at the beach and right when they saw the water Daehyun and Himchan had different plans. Apparently Daehyun wanted to go and actually play in the water while Himchan just wanted to play in the sand. It was such a silly argument. Jongup was so confused as to why they were so spiteful towards each other. 

 

Well I guess Himchan did steal his girlfriend. 

 

Jongup sighed. He felt funny. Not good funny, but weird funny. He couldn't quiet grasp the feeling but if he had to say what it was he would call it a mixture of sadness and disappointment. From what?

 

He had no idea. He sipped his drink again. 

 

"Himchan!! If you don't want to join us in the water, just stay out of it!! Jongup and me can have fun in the water by ourselves." He smirked happy with his last sentence. He crossed his arms and gave Himchan a challenging look. 

 

"But I'm pretty sure that Jongup would get bored with just you. Three would make it more fun. And playing in the water is boring." Himchan retorted calmly. But in his tone was a hint of venom. One that hard to detect but it was there. He smirked back. 

 

"You are so ing annoying" Daehyun muttered under his breath

 

...

 

"What was that?" 

 

"Nothing just considering what you said." ahe lied slyly with a forced smile. 

 

Himchan frowned. He heard what Daehyun said and honestly he knew that Daehyun hated him. Because c'mon, wasn't it obvious? But he really wanted to get closer to Jongup. He really really liked Jongup and if he couldn't date him, the second best choice was to be friends. Sure it was a pathetic plan but it was worth a shot. 

 

Himchan turned away from the fuming male and smiled toward the quiet boy on the bench. Jongup stared at him confused. 

 

Wow he's so cute. Himchan thought adoringly. 

 

"Hey Jongup. What do you wanna do?" He asked him with a warm voice. He bent down on one knee getting close to the boy, eye to eye. Really close. 

 

Jongup backed away abruptly blushing. Jongup can't deny it. Himchan was really attractive so when there faces were practically an inch away he couldn't help but be embarrassed. 

 

"I-it doesn't matter t-to me... Whatever you guys want" Jongup fidgeted with his hands and looked at Daehyun. He looked furious.

 

Suddenly an idea popped into Jongup's head. Quickly he got up and grabbed Daehyun's hand. Daehyun's face softened and he looked at the younger with raised eyebrows. 

 

"A-actually hyung we have something thing to do today. I'm sorry. I just remembered now. Maybe we can all hang out another time" he smiled meekly at the other before tugging at Daehyun's hand. 

 

"C'mon... Daehyunnie"

Daehyun chuckled. They were both sitting on a curb waiting for a bus since Daehyun didn't bring his car. Daehyun looked at their hands that were still together and smiled to himself. 

 

Jongup, on the other hand, was disappointed in himself. He lied to Himchan hyung and being the good boy he is, he felt bad. But he tried to shrug it off. After all he did agree to help get back at him. He had agree to it so they were in this together.

 

"Didn't think someone as cute as you could lie so easily to such a nice hyung." Daehyun smirked obviously being sarcastic about the "nice hyung" part.  

 

Jongup pouted. He felt bad enough already. Why did he have to rub more salt to the wound? He lowered his head in shame. He didn't like this whole "acting" thing if it meant he had to lie. And it made him feel bad. Himchan didn't seem like a bad person at all. 

 

Daehyun noticed the sad atmosphere emitting from the sulking boy. He started to panic. Some trickles of guilt was creeping into him. Out of sheer instinct he grabbed the sides if Jongup's face and and then pinched his cheeks. 

 

"Oww" the younger whimpered. 

 

Daehyun pecked his abused cheek gently, withdrawing with a smile gracing his face.

 

"Good job today Jongup"

Himchan frowned to himself as he walked home alone. He didn't feel like riding the bus home so walking was the only option.

 

How could someone like Daehyun have someone as sweet as Jongup? Daehyun... He's a player!  He cursed in his mind

 

"I swear he has a new girl hanging around him everyday..." Himchan muttered. How could he be doing this when he has Jongup?! 

 

 

Jongup is too good for Daehyun. And I'll make sure he knows that.

Hello. I know its been a long time. And I mean a long time. I came back from my vacation like in the beginning of january. And I know i said I would be working on the next chapter (and i was. believe me) but when I went back to school I was bombarded with tests. I"m sure other students can relate. And then I needed to catch up.

So I'm sorry for this late late late chapter. I hope you guys understand.

So... one shot came out and I loved how they're back to the way they started. ^^

Oh and last weekend I started and finished (yes i have no life so I can finish dramas in like two days :P) Reply 1997. THE BEST KDRAMA EVER MADE. I loved it. It was just sooooo relatable. And since i love infinite....Hoya you y man you. Being the sweet gentle joonhee you were. Were you trying to kill people with your cuteness? People who have watched the drama I'm sure you thought so too >.< He was adorable.
