I rubbed my eyes slowly as sunlight penetrated through our curtains. The rays got me blinded for moment so I turned away my view from windows. Baekhyun is still sleeping with his hand wrapped around my waist. Can’t help myself from smiling to see how peaceful his face is. I kissed tip of his nose only to realize the huge watch on wall pointed to 8.27 am.

FREAKING 8.27 AM.

And I supposed to be at work on 9.00 am. So does him.

“Oh God, oh God! BYUN BAEKHYUN WAKE UP! WE ARE SO GONNA BE LATE!!!!”

I bet my manager is going to throw tantrum at me again for being late every Monday. Seems like she never approved my Monday blues excuses. Haha. I really had hard time to wake up on Monday morning. This is serious. Moreover when you have Byun Baekhyun as husband. It makes the effort to wake up seems….wasted.

I furiously shook his body as he barely moves at all. Imagination of manager’s mad face sends goose bumps throughout my nerve but my husband refuse to cooperate.

“Baaaaaaaaaabyyyy wake up!!! You want me to get fired today???”

-no respond-

“Fine, I’m going to work by myself! Don’t blame me later baby!”

I am on my way to get off from bed when a hand pulled my wrist over. I turned back only to see him smiling innocently while still lying at the bed, wrapped in white comforter.

“Morning baby.”

His eminent translucent smile curved delicately on his face and I can’t have heart attack this morning. To avoid the view, I threw a pillow at him.

“This is not the time for greeting! Baby wake up now! It’s already 8.30 am!”

“Won’t take forever to kiss me first. Come here.”

Why is he making this hard for me? I just want to get to work on time for god sake. T.T

“I would bite you again I swear.”

He laughed at my attempt to avoid wasting more time for something I believe going to end up probably more than minutes. Being persistent as he always be, he pulled me stronger and had me lying down next to him again.

“Baekhyun this is serious. Now go take shower!”

He pointed at his lips, asking for morning kiss. “Don’t bite.” He chuckles while requesting for it. God. How much longer….can I hold myself?

Baekhyun wrapped his hands around my waist when I leaned closer for kiss. It was so comforting, and my world turned upside down when I realized it is almost 8.45 am.

“GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDDD BABY NOW GO TO SHOWER!”

“But I’m still…sleepy…”

Feeling devastated, I pulled him until he got up from bed and dragged him to bathroom. He walked lazily while following my lead. “Here’s your towel, make it fast! I will make breakfast and take shower after you…baby? Baaaaby you hear me or not??? Oh god…” He nodded his head slowly and without me realizing, he take my towel too and pulled me to the shower together. I raised my eyebrow, as sign asking for explanation.

“I’m gonna teach you how to save time baby.”

His lips curved finely into smile while whispering closer to me. He kissed my cheek before taking me in slowly.

This time, he got me following his lead.

Hyeyeon joined me for lunch as Baekhyun is having meeting a bit longer than he expected. I send packed lunch to his work place as I know, he won’t eat until dinner if he missed his lunch time. Hyeyeon and I are discussing something when I received a message. It’s from Baekhyun.

Baby thanks for lunch! Don’t worry, I’m still full from ‘dinner’ yesterday! Don’t overwork yourself okay, come home early. Love you!

Naughty Byun Baekhyun. Don’t skip meals. LOVE YOU MORE!

“You smiled a lot now.”

I got distracted when Hyeyeon suddenly talked to me after I replied to his message. I smiled a little and put my phone aside, to continue my discussion with her.

“You’re happy?”

I nodded. “What’s with this topic Hyeyeon? Anything I should know?”

She put down her cutleries, and looked at me sternly. I wonder why she looked that way, so I put down mine too.

“It’s been a long time since you married him..right?”

“Yes…why?”

“I met him from event on Saturday.”

“As long as he’s not meeting you at hotel room then I’m fine with it.”

I tried to keep the conversation cool as Hyeyeon sounds quite serious, but her face is getting stricter than minutes ago.

“I won’t do that to you. Are you crazy?”

“Just kidding. So what’s up?”

She sighed deeply, as something burdened her heavily. I keep my eyes on her, in case she’s trying to tell me something bad.

“I bring my kids along. And he enjoyed playing with them. A lot.”

“That’s good.” I smile again, bringing cup of tea closer to my mouth. I don’t see any issue there. I can’t even untangle the mystery snipped behind this talk. Feeling relief, I keep drinking my tea slowly.

“Don’t you want…to have kids?”

Hyeyeon’s unexpected question got me stunned. Her eyes gleaming with compassion while looking at me, and I can’t even put down my cup properly.

Oh God.
