[ SONGGYUNG’s POV ]

I missed him so much. I longed for him dreadfully that my heart crumpled for the reason that it was empty. Empty without his presence around, his sweet-talks, his warmth, his fondness and of course, himself. I’m dying without all of those. I know I already am dying but I mean it, I’m dying.

Just like the other days, today I cried my heart out upon recalling our memories of together. The thought of forgetting him had never came to my mind since I know myself too well that I’m always incompetent of doing so. How am I suppose to neglect my other half? It’s freaking ridiculous.

The tips of my fingers made contact with the piano playing my favorite song, “I Remember” which was written by him.

even when I close my eyes

the light that used to shine on us is still there

our precious times

I will cherish them deeply

even the pain comes in many times

those days we promise of forever

I will never forget those moments until the end

I remember

I closed my eyes and sang faintly only to hear myself sobbing soon after.

Songgyung hugged her knees and cried all over again. Tears carelessly trailed on her cheeks as she held onto her knees tighter.

“Y-Yongguk, I do remember your promise until now .. but ... do you..?”

“Of course I remember, Songgyung..”

‘??!’, she widened her eyes right away, upon hearing that voice. She thought she was hearing things yet she turned to her back only to findd herself froze afterward.

Suddenly she felt her heart jumped out from her rib cage. It was him. She saw him not too far from her.

Bang Yongguk was there with his white attire indicated that he was dead as well. He walked towards her slowly but surely without breaking their eye contact.

“Yong-guk..”, Songgyung’s bare foot touched the grass and stood with all her might. She looked up to him as she saw his teary eyes. Those eyes that she longed so much, gazed her with tenderness causing fresh tears to fall from hers.

“Songgyung-ah.. I’m sorry that I’m 40 years late to fulfil my promise.. but I had never forget about it NOT even once”, Yongguk pulled out his right hand revealing a small box on his palm. Songgyung clasped in delight as she saw the content of it..

.. a RING.

“Lee Songgyung, will you willingly be FOREVER  MINE..? And me too.. as FOREVER YOURS..?”
