Welcome to greyskies's Review and Beta Shop. I'll gladly review and beta any stories you ask me to, so long as you fulfill these requirements:

1. I would prefer that you didn't ask me to review long chaptered stories ( chapters/35,000+words). Not because I don't like chaptered stories (I do like them), but purely due to time constraints. I don't have the time to go to school, do homework, study, write, and read a crazy long story AND write about it. That's not to say that I won't review them, because if I've read it before, then I won't have to reread it. Please ask me if you want me to review a chaptered story, there is a chance that I will ^^

2. I will not beta read stories that are already in-process. For example, if you want me to beta read a chaptered story that you've already written and posted ten chapters for, it would be rather irritating to read those ten chapters and edit and give advice on things that have already been done. If you need me as a replacement for a previous beta, that's fine. Just talk to me first ^^

3. I will not review incomplete stories or sequels. It just doesn't make sense. All book reviewers, movie reviewers, and whatever reviewers always judge based on the finished product. I will also not read sequels, because 99% of the time I won't have read the original story first.

4. I would prefer beta reading/reviewing stories that are about groups that I'm more familiar with (B.A.P, Beast, BIGBANG, EXO, MBLAQ, SHINee, there's probably more but if you look through my stories you can probably figure out which groups I know better) because knowing the characters helps me to better grasp the story. Currently, I'd prefer reading EXO and B.A.P stories, but you can still request for any.

5. I don't care if it's a 'you' story, 'oc' story, , whatever. I'm pretty open to reading any genre, be it romance, angst, drama, , whatever.

6. If you ask me to review your story, then proceed to complain about what I've said, you will be blacklisted. If you asked for my opinion, you have no right to complain about what I think.

7. I'm fine with beta reading or reviewing stories from any site, be it tumblr, livejournal, aff, whatever. If you would prefer to contact me regarding beta reading on tumblr or lj instead of using aff, my tumblr is greyskieslatenights and my lj is greyskies268. Reviews will still be posted on here, though, just to keep it all in one place. Please either PM me your email so I can send you the finished edit, or you can temporarily make me a co-author on your story so I can paste the text when I'm done. I will hide the chapter so that you can look it over before you post it.

8. I reserve the right to choose the stories that I want to review/beta read. I'm not trying to insult you if I reject you, but I may not have time to beta your story. Also, if I'm not particularly interested in the group/know much about the group, my review will most likely not be too great, or I may not catch errors that someone better-versed in that fandom would.

9. Please make certain that you leave a form before PMing me about a beta request. There is no guarantee that I will accept straight off the bat. You need a confirmation from me first.

10. To make sure that you've read the requirements, please put 'Joah' in the password section.

11. You don't have to credit me for beta reading, but it would be nice ^^

Beta reading: I will read through your story, edit it, and provide feedback on what I think is good and what needs to be worked on more.

Reviews: I will read through your story and give it a score out of 100 (letter grade) based on:
Plot, Character Development, Spelling+Grammar, Layout, and overall opinion.
Each of the above will be given a score out of 10.
I will try my best not to be unnecessarily harsh on some things; however I won't try and sugarcoat everything to make you feel better.

All reviews will be posted in this story, and I will wall-post the author when your review has been posted. Stories that I've beta read will not be posted in chapters, but will be included in links in the Table of Contents in the Foreword.
