Don't Leave
Description
Na Young, feeling lost, uncared for, and meaningless, took her own life. Daehyun wished he could have done something to stop her. He wished he could have showed her how loved she really was, and how important she was to him. He missed her so badly...
Sometimes, when one wishes desperately enough and truly cares for another, they get another chance. They get a chance to make things different for the one they lost, to make their last moments the best that they could have. There are even times when, if the person's will is strong enough, the future can be changed.
Daehyun is one lucky enough to get another chance, and he works hard to make better memories with Na Young. The closer the date of her death gets, though, the question comes to mind.
Can he change the future?

This story was inspired by "In Heaven" by JYJ. The song influenced the story, as did the video. I'm using the same concept, but with different characters, events, and whatnot. Will the ending be different? We'll have to see. ;)

Foreword
He had been so busy with work lately, that he hadn't noticed the signs. Daehyun knew that she was hurting after losing her parents, and things only got worse for her when the company she worked for let her go, but he never thought... He never thought that the pain would drive her so far. He never dreamed he would lose her like that, in such a cruel way. Now that she was gone, he realized there had been so many instances in which he neglected her, and that maybe if he had been around more often and paid more attention, then maybe... Maybe Na Young would still be alive.
What was he to do, though? She was already gone, and had been for months. There was nothing he could do to quel the guilt that ate at his heart now.
"Oppa, you have something you would like to do more than anything, right? What is it?"
The child blinked innocently at Daehyun, waiting patiently for his answer. The blonde gave her a small, sad smile and dropped his gaze. "What I want to do more than anything..." Na Young's smiling face had popped into his mind immediately. "I'd like to spend more time with someone, and be there for her because I wasn't when she needed me before. I want to make it up to her..." He sighed. "But that's impossible now."
"Remember, Oppa," The young girl smiled, her eyes twinkling. "That nothing is impossible."
