Again, the room was filled with silence, as only soft sobbing was heard. The last word read by Rain still managed to put a weak smile on everyone’s lips but that did not even manage to break the silence. No one let anything out of their mouths as they decided to just lend their ears to what was contained in those letters written by each and every one of them. Rain sighed.

“Now we move on to the next one, Cheol Yong’s. Are you ready, Cheol Yong?”

The youngest nodded, still had his eyes swollen with tears. Accepting it as a cue, Rain unfolded the paper and started to read the words one by one.

Annyeonghasaeyo, hyungs. Maknae Mir is here to let all those things inside my heart out.

                When I heard that Rain hyung asked us to write a letter to everyone, saying all the things that we held in for years, I wonder what I should put in this letter. I am sure you anticipated this from me since I said that I had many things to be brought up for being treated unfairly all these while, being bullied and all. There are indeed many things to say, but all those were good things, not the bad ones. I am telling the truth, really.

                First of all, I would like to thank Joonie hyung, for still being by my side though I know he ‘hated’ me that much. Haha~ Hyung, please don’t be mad at me.. I know I am annoying most of the time. It was just that I want to get your attention to me hyung. The fans know that we both are awkward with each other, that is why they even made up a pairing for us. ‘JooMi’ is something they made up just to make us comfortable with each other, but it seems to make you feel awkward with me even more. Aigoo.. =.=’ What should I do? Well, it’s fun though getting into fights with you. Now that I think about it, we got into fights almost every day! I bet I’ll miss our fights after this. Don’t you forget me, your annoying ex-roommate. JooMi hwaiting! xD

                Next, Doongie hyung.. , the daughter of the group. I always said that I envy you. You look so much younger than me, that’s not fair! Kekeke You know what, I still envy you until now. All those selcas we took together would be a treasure that I will never forget. I will keep those! And you remember the time when we both become Lala and Pooh, the two teletubbies during our fan meeting in Japan last year? I was very cute that time eyy? Kekeke xD Oh, my dear beautiful brother.. Thank you for treating me as your donsaeng though we had some problems during the early year of our meeting. I didn’t think that you would get mad at me for lying about my age before.. Still, I apologize for that. Well, I guess you can meet with IU more often after this, I won’t be mad at you anymore. Kekeke~ I love you hyung. Keep on being a protective hyung to me, and I will surely call you if I got into a car accident or if I was drunk. Kekeke

                G.O omma.. Hehe Hyung! I love it when the job of cheering up the moments was given to us! It was like we are the clowns of the group. xD but of course, I always wonder how could the main vocalist be so funny? You looked like the eldest among us when we first met, but then I was so shocked to see you being funny and all ... like a small kid! Haha And thank you hyung for scaring the guts out of me when I saw my name was listed on ‘the Expelled Trainees’ list. I swear I didn’t open the folder anymore after that; thanks to you, who told Ji Hoon hyung to put my name on it, just to scare me. Huhh I really thought that I was going to die at that moment, you know?! =.=’ and you look so cool when you sing, that is why I was always willing to be your ‘camera director’ to record your singing. I look up to you, hyung! :D

                Lastly, to the almighty leader of MBLAQ, the ‘soft stomach’ Yang Seung Ho! Well, I should stop calling you that now huh? The ‘tough’ leader has come! You look so fit and cool now, that you had lose your weight. We can go and have chicken before I go back to Jangseong,  can’t we? It has been some time since you had that kind of meal. I hope you will live well, and dance well too after this! I always look up to the leader, even you know that. Remember when I was you ‘right man’ during our trainee years? Kekeke it was because you looked so cool before. Please take care of your health and stop being hyperactive all of a sudden okay? (please don’t smack me after hearing this letter) Yah, Yang Seung Ho! You stop bullying people! xD

                Last but not least, thanks guys for hearing my family’s stories; about my mother being funny, my puppy Soju, and all. I will send you apples from Jangseong a bit later. Give me your addresses and those apples will be at your doors soon! :) I will stop here, since I don’t know what else to say. As the last thing to say, I LOVE YOU.

A letter from the puppy,

Bang Cheol Yong.

Just as Rain finished reading the letter, Cheondung stood up and went towards the sobbing maknae. “Cheol Yong-ah.. Don’t call me anymore.. I don’t want to be there when you got into trouble..” He said with a soft chuckle, while having his tears running down his chubby cheeks. The maknae laughed in return upon hearing the elder’s words.

Soon, G.O and Seung Ho came towards them and they then seemed to have a group hug. Only Joon stayed away from them, earning a frown from Rain. Joon only stood still and hang his head low.

“Joonie..?” Rain said, short. Hearing the voice calling his name, Joon held up his head and turned towards his mentor. “Yes?”

The short conversation between Rain and Joon made everyone turned to both of them. All eyes went to Joon, who seemed to have lost his emotions at that particular moment. His expression seemed to be dark though, but no tears were forming in his eyes at that time.

“Do you hate me that much, hyung? Did my letter hurt you? I didn’t mean that, really. I was just—“ Mir’s words were cut off by Joon.

“No, you silly. I was just thinking ... that I can’t hug you in between those ‘big fat men’ hugging you there. So.. I am going to hug you ... now.” Almost immediately, Joon went for Mir and hugged him tightly.

Only then G.O laughed and smacked Joon’s arm. “Yah! Who do you call as ‘big fat men’ huh? You want to die?!” All of them laughed at once, including Rain who was watching the scene the whole time.

Joon then again turned to the maknae that was in his embrace, and smiled at him.

“I’m sorry Cheol Yong-ah. You are my donsaeng forever. I love you.” Joon’s words were heard sincere. Everyone present in the room smiled as the two awkward members were finally getting better with each other. “JooMi hwaiting!” Seung Ho yelled, earning a big laugh from everyone.

After all the tear jerking moment they had, Rain finally decided to have their attention back to him. There were still 3 letters unread, therefore he need to have their attention back to him.

“Boys, who wants to have his letter to be read next?”

“Me.” Cheondung raised his hands up. Rain nodded as a response.
