Krystal's POV

I'm going back to Indiana just to tell my Parents and brother that i'm moving to Korea next week. I'm not bragging or anything though, but I'd just like to tell you that I am now the Assistant Editor-in-Chief for Korea's # 1 Fashion Magazine: High-Cut. 

"It's been years since i last saw my family." I said to my new best friend, Sehun who was sitting on the porch. I went up to him and sat beside him.

"Well yeah. If it weren't for our work you wouldn't come back.. at all!" 

I smacked the back of Sehun's head and giggled. 

"Hey!!! What was that for?!" Sehun exclaimed.

"I just promised myself that i'd never go back unless i get a decent job... and a new best friend." 

"Oh my god, let's not start with this old best friend story again. I don't wanna hear another word about that Jongin guy." Sehun said as he covered his ears. 

"Well i'm sorry okay! *laughs* Were just, i don't know like uhm twelve? But i gotta admit, i did take it seriously."

"Let me give you a situation, what if... you meet him again. And he suddenly opens up this topic and asks you about your "star". He's gonna be all like....."

SEHUN'S IMAGINATION

"So Nami, i just wanted to ask you something." Jongin said as he kept tapping his fingers on the table. He seemed very nervous.

"What is it?"

"Have you already met your star?" 

"Uhm... not yet. To be quite honest. How about you?"

"Not yet really. Remember our deal? About the stars. Well... i was really serious about it. So i just wanted to ask. Uhm. Could you be my.. my star?" He said as he looked at me intently. 

I closed my eyes and whispered stuff to myself just to make sure that this was all real. When i opened my eyes, i realized that his face was inches away from mine. It seems like he was really waiting for my answer.

"Yes.. yes Jongin! I'd like to be your star!" 

We both stood up and smiled at each other. He pulled me in for a hug. 

"I love you Nami. You're so beautiful, amazing, sweet and gaaah i adore you so much i can't even put it into words." Jongin whispered these words to my ear.

"I love you more Jongin. Forever and always."

"And you both lived happily ever after!" Sehun said in a cheerful tone.

I couldn't help but laugh at him and his idyllic story. Oh wait, it's already 12 in the afternoon. I'm gonna be late for my flight! 

"Sehun, you need to drive me to the airport!!! It's already twelve!!" I immediately stood up and went to my room. 

I asked my roommate, Victoria, to help me out with the luggage. 

"Oh Nami, i'm gonna miss you so much. Have a safe trip going back to Indiana... and Korea. Don't forget to send fresh kimchi!" Victoria said as she pulled me in for a super tight hug.

"I'm gonna miss you too Vic. I'm gonna miss everyone! Don't forget to tweet me every day okay?" Victoria nodded as we both went downstairs. 

Everyone just kept waving goodbye to me. Deep down, I wanted to break down and cry but i've always been the strong girl so i just smiled. Tears formed in my eyes though.

"I'll take it from here." I said to Victoria as i put all of my things inside Sehun's car. 

"Keep safe okay! We're all gonna miss you! Come back soon, NamNam!" Victoria screamed as she was waving goodbye to me. I waved back and smiled. I opened the door and sat at the backseat of his car. NamNam... sounds familiar.

"Aren't you supposed to sit in front?" Sehun asked as he started to drive.

"I want more space okay. I'll be sharing seats with a lot of people for about 2-3 days." I said sarcastically.

"Boo-hoo!" 

"Hey aren't you gonna miss me?" I asked Sehun.

"You're only gonna be gone for a few days. I'm gonna see you again. Say hello to the new photographer for High-Cut magazine." Sehun said as he handed over his calling card to me.

My eyes widened in shock. I was about to hug him until i realized that he was driving. I couldn't help but smile. I've never felt so happy in my entire life. I couldn't believe that i'll be working with my best friend, in our dream company, HIGH-CUT MAGAZINE KOREA. This is truly something! I started sobbing after hearing the good news.

"Awww, why are you crying Nami?" Sehun asked. 

"I'm just.. just so so soooo happy." I said as i wiping off the tears on my eyes.

"Save your tears for someone special."

"But you are special Sehun, you're my best friend. You've always been there for me. I just cannot imagine life without you. Remember when we were in college, we promised that we're gonna work at the same company. Buy our own pad."

"I took that seriously."

"I know. That's why i'm so happy... because you didn't break your promise."

"Oh and, about the pad... we'll be sharing it with two other colleagues. I hope you don't mind though."

"No no no it's okay. As long we're gonna be together in Korea. We're gonna eat ramen, bulgogi, tteokbokki and our all-time favorite fish cakes! Oh and we're gonna go to Lotte World and----"

"Hey chill. You still need to say goodbye to your family first."

He parked the car and helped me to carry my stuff.

"I'll see you okay. Keep safe. I'll email the address of our pad to you okay. Fly! Fly away my butterfly!" Sehun said as he planted a small kiss on my forehead. And i gotta admit, that made me blush a bit. But when he called me butterfly, i wanted to burst out laughing. I smiled at him and waved goodbye. I entered the airport without looking back.

The flight going back to Indiana lasted for a few hours only. The plane successfully landed on the airport. I immediately took all of my things and went out of the plane as fast as she could. She rode the cab asked the driver to drop her off at Sunnyvale Village. During the car ride, I kept looking around and noticed that a lot has changed through the years. The old bakery is now a famous pastry shop. Ms. Becky's flower shop already closed down and et cetera.

"We're finally here. Sunnyvale Village." The driver said. He dropped me off at the first block. I went out and took all of my things. 

"Thank you." I said. 

I hurriedly ran to our house. I was trying to make sure that no one was there. I wanted to surprise everyone but oh how the tables have turned. My Parents surprised me with a triple chocoate cake. I rant to my Parents and hugged them so tight. I missed them so much. When we entered the house, i noticed that furniture has changed. Mom hurriedly went to the kitchen to take out the Roasted Chicken from the oven and ooooooh it smells so good. 

"It's time to eat dinner!" Mom exclaimed.

I decided to open up the topic about me going to Korea at dinner.

"I'm not here to stay really. I just wanted to tell you guys that i'll be moving to Korea in a few days. I'll be with a friend. We'll be working for the High-Cut magazine. I-I'm the new assistant Editor-in-Chief of High-Cut and my friend's the official photographer. I just wanted to spend time with you guys before leaving because I'm not sure when I'm gonna come back. But i promise to send you guys cards and kimchi. Well i just hope it doesn't before it gets here. I love you both so much. I hope you'd understand.. Mom and... Dad." I said nervously.

In that moment, I wanted rip out my heart because it was beating so fast and i was having a hard time breathing. I was just hoping that they wouldn't feel bad about what I just said. It's for the better.

Mom held my hand me smiled at me. Tears formed in her eyes as she looked at me intently. 

"You're old enough to make your own decisions. Plus, I know you're gonna be safe because your brother is also in Korea. Just make sure to always keep safe okay." Mom said.

Dad stood up and went to my side. "I love you Darling. Follow your dreams."

I was standing at the entrance of the airport. It was time for me to say goodbye to my Parents. I felt really bad about this decision, but I know deep down that this is for my own good too. I waved goodbye to the both of them. Mom blew a kiss and i tried to catch it using my hands. 

I looked at the time and my eyes widened shock when i saw that the plane will be leaving in a few minutes. But luckily, I was able to go in just in time. I sat between this old lady who kept farting and this girl who was too busy looking at herself in the mirror.

"This is gonna be a smooth ride." I said to myself. At times like this, you just gotta stay positive. This is it.

"In final preparation for landing, please return your seatbacks to the full upright position, stow your tray table, and place all carry-on luggage under the seat in front of you. Electronic devices must be turned off at this time. Flight attendants will be walking through the cabin to pick up any remaining service items. We'll be landing eatsoon." 

*We're finally here.* I said to myself. 

"The plane has landed. You may now unbuckle your seatbelts. Thank you for flying with us!" The flight attendants went up to us and helped us with our things. 

"Miss are you okay?" The girl beside me asked.

"No i'm okay. I just get nauseous during plane rides." I said.

"Okay then, feel better soon." 

As i got off the plane, I immediately ran to the nearest bathroom because I wasn't really feeling well. But unfortunately, the door was locked so I kept running around the airport trying to look for a bathroom.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!! I fell flat on the floor. 

"Watch where you're-----" The person who I bumped into got cut off when I looked up at him. I was trying to recognize his face because he looks really familiar.

My eyes widened in shock when I realized who he was. He smiled at me and said...

"NamNam?"
