No longer?
Before you leave
It was almost midnight when Kang Sora reached her apartment; she had just gotten through a full packed schedule. Two interviews, a fan meeting and a photo shoot. Even though that was the case her day went by terribly slow and her mind just wasn’t with her at all.
She dragged herself through the wooden floor until she reached her bed.
Two long weeks passed since she last saw Leeteuk, they agreed on meeting before his enlistment, and it was already October 29th. She took a glimpse at her phone and corrected her self, it was already October 30th. She sighted feeling regretful, there were so many things left unsaid. The Super Junior leader said he would call the actress, but that hadn’t happened, in that case then she was supposed to do it, but she just couldn’t. What if he was really busy? Knowing his workaholic nature he probably wanted to do many work-related things before enlisting. Or what if he really didn’t mean anything about meeting her and it was just something said out of courtesy.
She bit her lip hard, not really comfortable with that desperate feeling in her chest, as if something was clenching her heart.
She wanted to see him, she needed to see him. Slowly and without her permission tears started building up in her eyes.
“What wrong with me?”She asked herself, wiping away the tears, which didn’t really do much because as soon as she did more salty water slid down her cheek.
Not only was she more sentimental the past few days, she also couldn’t recall the last time she felt this confused, and that because it hadn’t happen before. She missed him, yes. But that was because she was just so used to him, maybe too much. It felt weird when he wasn’t around. Or al least that’s what she kept telling herself.
She wanted to badly to believe that was the reason behind her clinginess.
Her phone rang, breaking her thoughts. She calmed herself down before reaching for it. It only rang once which meant it was a message. Her heart began to race when she read who the sender was.
Leeteuk Oppa
Taking a deep breath she hit the option Open
Her eyes traveled through the screen of the cell phone, the first time she read the message she wasn’t able to comprehend what she read until she did it a second time.
Sora-shii I’m sorry I didn’t call you like I promised. I´ ve been busy.
…
It’s okay. I understand. Don’t worry about it.
Send
About a minute later her phone rang once again.
Open, open...
I’m guessing you really didn’t want to see me. You didn’t call like we agreed.
Another tear ran down her cheek.
It’s not that. I knew you were probably busy and I didn’t want to bother you.
Send.
You don’t bother me. You know that.
She wasn’t sure how to respond. He left her without an excuse. Whilst thinking of something to respond her phone rang again.
Sora what I felt for you was real. I’m sorry for not being man enough to tell you face to face or at least in a phone call but I just can bring myself to do it. You don’t feel the same way and its okay but I just needed to tell you, again.
What I felt for you...
Felt...
As in, no longer
Her heart sank and her mind went completely blank with the message. Without thinking she dialed a very familiar number. Even though it was familiar she would only call it in rare occasions.
“Hello?”
“Leeteuk...”
“Sora, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable, I...”
“Where are you?” –She cut him off trying to hide the fact that she had been crying.
