It’s already lunchtime and Jaejoong doesn’t seem to have any appetite. He was just simply staring at the space for about an hour now

“Yah! If only food could run, it would have disappeared by now” Yunho commented but Jaejoong didn’t budge and continued what he was doing “must have thinking over that idiot again” he thought and tried shaking the table which startled Jaejoong

“Wha--- omo! An earthquake!” Jaejoong exclaimed and Yunho poked him “oh! It was just you” he pouted feeling embarrassed of his action earlier

“At least you’ve now noticed me” Yunho raised an eyebrow at Jaejoong

“what are you doing here? I don’t remember inviting you to have lunch with me” Jaejoong mumbled

“I just figured out that you needed some company and for your information, I’ve been here for about an hour now” Yunho replied while munching on his burger.  Jaejoong just rolled his eyes. Yunho went on blabbering again but stopped talking when Jaejoong went silent again “where are you looking at?” following Jaejoong’s gaze, yunho saw Yoochun, Jaejoong ex boyfriend, being so lovey dovey with another girl

“just as I’ve thought” Jaejoong sighed and was startled when he heard Yoochun’s voice

“So he’s the reason why you broke up with me? I never thought that you could be such a manwhore” Yunho fisted his hands and Jaejoong was teary-eyed “gonna cry now? Oh please, don’t be a---“ Yoochun fell on the ground with a bleeding nose

“You deserve that, you bastard!” Yunho tend to Jaejoong and didn’t notice the upcoming attack so he got punched straight right through the face. The two battled and Yunho was about to punch Yoochun again when he was stopped by Jaejoong

Jaejoong hurriedly brought Yunho to the infirmary to apply first aid on his bruises

“Ouch! Jae, that hurts! Please be careful” Jaejoong woke up from his trance when he accidentally applied more force than needed

“I-I’m sorry” Jaejoong stuttered putting the medicine down

“don’t tell me that you are thinking about that bastard again?” Yunho frankly asked

“and why did you care? Why did you even do that? He must be hurting a lot by now” Jaejoong exclaimed

“Jae, he insulted you and called you a manwhore yet you still care about that bastard?” yunho widened his eyes shocked at Jaejoong’s actions

“He just went on the wrong way and for petes sake! Stop calling him bastard!” Jaejoong replied

“I don’t understand why you are acting blind because of him” Yunho mumbled

“You don’t have to and stop butting into others business” Jaejoong stormed off leaving Yunho in the dust

Despite of what had happened, Yunho still followed Jaejoong here and there

“Jae!” Yunho tried to break the piercing silent between them “Jae, talk to me” still Jaejoong didn’t even spare a glance on him

“Yunho” Jaejoong mumbled and Yunho’s head automatically looked at him

“Yes?” Yunho hurriedly replied anticipating for what Jaejoong has to say

“Why do you keep on following me? If you think that this is just a game then it is not so please stop” Jaejoong pleaded as he closed his hands into a fist

“It’s because I wanted to protect you” Yunho replied without thinking twice

“I’m no longer the kid that you used to bully. I’m a man now and I have my own life so stay away from me” Jaejoong groaned and rode the bus

Yunho just sat behind Jaejoong’s seat. Carefully examining the face that he had longed to see again

“I never thought that you would still remember those days” Yunho mumbled “ you have indeed changed. From being cute into being beautiful” he added and continued to stare at Jaejoong

“anyone who would like to be drop off in the incheon st?” the driver asked

“yes” jaejoong timidly replied and the bus driver nodded

“so that’s where they transferred” yunho said to himself an followed suit when jaejoong went down. Few minutes more when jaejoong noticed a shadow behind him

“yUnho, you are still here? What did I say about following?” jaejoong growled and yunho just shrug off his shoulders “I don’t remember seeing you around here” he added with a suspicious look

“oh! But im just going to visit the hot chick that lives few blocks from here” yunho mumbled

“tsk! Playboy” jaejoong rung the doorbell and was shocked to see his father in a furious state

“you two come in now” mr. kim commanded “jaejoong, is it him? The guy who played with your heart?” he added. His eyes forming into slits

“ohm no--- hes not---“ jaejoong panickly exclaimed

“mr. kim, im sorry to say but im not his boyfriend… yet” yunho said as he smiled sweetly

“what? Then do you plan on courting him?” mr. kim asked looking at yunho

“yes. Only if youd let me” yunho said “I wouldn’t want to court him without permission from his parents afterall” he added as he bowed

“very well then, promise me that you wouldn’t hurt him like that bastard did” mr. kim said and smiled

“agreed. I will not even let him lay a finger at joongie from now on” yunho said and mr. kim pat his shoulders

“good! I now accept you as my son in law” mr. kim said and they both laugh

“uh, excuse me! Have you forgotten that im still here?” jaejoong growled “why did it even end this way?” jaejoong palmed his face
