Chapter 3

Author's PoV

"Okay Class, Please sit down" The homeroom teacher announced..

 

The class didn't seem to notice the homeroom teacher. They continued bickering.

 

"Class! Please sit down!" This time, their teacher yelled.

 

Silence filled the room, and the students sat down on their chairs.

 

"So today, we have three transfer students. I'm sure you heard about that right?" the teacher announced.

 

The class seemed to be excited. They began whispering as to who are the transfer students.

 

The teacher opened the door and said, "Please come in."

 

Three girls entered the room. The murmurs became louder. 

 

Who is she?

 

What's her name?

 

She's so cute!

 

"Quiet!" The teacher shouted. "Please  introduce yourselves."

 

The girl with the cute eyesmile introduced herself first. "I'm Hwang Tiffany. Pleased to meet you all!" And then she bowed  90 degrees.

 

And then, a cold girl introduced herself. "I'm Jung Jessica." and then she just stared into the space. So much for being friendly.

 

Suddenly, a cheerful girl introduced herself. "I'm Kim Taeyeon. Nice to meet you."  After she introduced herself, she smiled brightly. "I hope we can be friends." she added.

 

"You may now take your seats." The teacher pointed at the empty seats.

 

"May I sit beside you?" the girl named Jessica asked.

 

"Huh?" Baekhyun looked at Jessica. "What did you say?"

 

"I asked if I can sit beside you." Jessica rolled her eyes.

 

"Y-Yes."

 

Stupid Baekhyun! Why did you stammer? Baekhyun thought.

 

Jessica sat down and she just stared at the blackboard.

 

Baekhyun couldn't help but  stare at the pretty girl. 

 

"Baekhyun-ssi, could you please give Ms.Jung  a tour around the campus?" the  teacher asked

 

"Why Sir?"

 

"It's because you're her seat mate.So Baekhyun-ssi,  can you give her a tour?"

 

"Yes sir." 

 

Jessica gave him a cold glare.

 

What can I do? I can't reject the teacher. He thought.

 

"Sir, I don't need a guide." Jessica finally said.

 

"But Ms. Jung---"

 

"I said I don't need a guide."

 

"Well then, Baekhyun-ssi. Can you please give Ms. Kim a tour instead?"

 

"B-But Sir!" Taeyeon argued.

 

"No buts this time. Ms. Kim. You'll have Baekhyun as your guide. Do you have anything to add Baekhyun-ssi?"

 

"None sir."

 

"Well then,class dismissed."

 

The teacher left the classroom. Baekhyun went to Taeyeon.

 

"So let's go?" He asked her.

 

She just nodded in response.

 

To be honest, I'm thankful that  Taeyeon is the one who  I'm gonna give a tour. It's just hard to talk to Jessica. he thought.

 

They walked around the campus. Baekhyun gave Taeyeon some pointers to remember so that she won't get lost.

 

"Thank you Baekhyun-ssi."

 

"Oh just call me Baekhyun.  No need for the honorifics."

 

"Alright. B-Baekhyun."

 

"Very good. Let's go back to the classroom now?It's already time anyways."

 

They walked back together. They went inside the classroom and unexpectedly, the room was very quiet and everyone was looking at them.

 

They looked around and there they saw, their music teacher.

 

"Ma'am sorry we're late."

 

"It's fine. Take your seats."

 

"I'll be your music teacher for this year. Pleased to meet you." the music teacher said.

 

"I heard that there are transfer students. Can they stand up and introduce themselves?"

 

Tiffany stood up and said, "I'm Tiffany Hwang."

 

"Oh. Next." The teacher said, looking bored.

 

"I'm Jessica Jung." Jessica was about to sit down.

 

"Wait. You're from America right?"

 

"Yes."

 

"Oh.. Next."

 

"I'm Kim Taeyeon." she introduced herself.

 

"So, because this is a  music class. I want you to show us your talent. I'll play a song then you have to sing it. Okay?"

 

The three girls nodded.

 

"Let's start."

 

The music teacher played a song. 

 

Wait, Baekhyun thought. This song is familiar.

 

D.O nudged Baekhyun. "Isn't that what you said you heard from your princess?"

 

"Yes. It's that song."

 

Unexpectedly, someone sang the song.

 

Look at this stuff,

Isn't it neat?

Wouldn't you think my collections complete?

Wouldn't you think I'm the girl? 

The girl who has everything?

 

It's her! She's my little mermaid! Baekhyun said in his mind.
