Not even time can reverse the effects of love.
Foreword
There is this legend that was painted onto the walls of time by very great beings. It speaks of a dragon created by the gods to govern the Earth and all its people.
Each god used their power to mold the dragon's body, mind, and soul. The dragon's body was made by the earth it would dwell, its life was sparked by a Phoenix flame and nurtured by a healing hand, its mind was forged by the telekinetic god, whose mind can not be matched. Lightning gave it speed and strength, its breath was created by the unbound east wind, and its soul was made to be the mirror image of the purest light.
The dragon was everything its creators had hoped it would be… but there were still gods that loathed its existence.
The dragon did as created to do; watch over the people of Earth. Everything was always the same till one day the dragon met a rather peculiar being. This being was cunning and sly and for the first time the dragon had met someone wiser than it.
They met again and again, day after day, building something neither had heard of. It was something that would beat in their chests; stronger and faster than their beating hearts…
They fell in love.
However, what the dragon had been oblivious to was that its lover was none other than the son of Father Time.
The gods were outraged by this and demanded that they part, but when both refused, they were banished from the heavens and placed on opposite sides of the Earth. With the power of space and water, two gods separated the lovers through oceans and the sky.
For days, the dragon raged. It destroyed villages and caused chaos due to its heartache. Its cries were as loud as thunder and some say that even its lover could hear them.
To spare the Earth and its peope, there were some gods that took pity on the lovers…
The gods argued about the matter till an agreement was reached. The dragon would gain the ability to meet its lover, but neither would know of the other.
When Father Time stretched his hand, he rewond the two lover's memories of the other. The god that bathed the dragon's soul in light speckled the night sky and arranged these stars to lead to the son of Time. The telekinetic god that forged the dragon's mind gave it the ability to soar through the sky. The last of the gods froze the dragon's heart, making it as cold as ice so that it would rage no longer.
The odds were against the lovers. Though they were now near the other, they were unaware and left to live their lives incomplete.
However, there was one hope for them…
The gods had agreed that if their love was enough to bring them back together, then they would not separate the lovers a second time.
