Description

as if one crazy girlfriend is not enough for him, God sends a dramatic fiancee for him along the way.

Foreword

There she is, the girl who spent her childhood in a small town near the ocean. She was everyone’s favorite, this bubbly, optimistic, bright, bouncing girl, was as bright as sunshine; of course it would be fitting if she is the heroine of this story.

But no, she’s not Lee Chaerin. Her name is Sandara Park, or Dara in short.

Dara was told, time after time, that her fiance lived in Seoul, his name is Jiyong and the time she saw his photograph she fell in love, hard and deep. She was informed that he was a cook, and she loves cooking too! (so much, too much); so that’d make them a match! And she couldn’t wait… she couldn’t wait for her saving to be enough so she could fly to Seoul and finally meet him! Her Prince! This overly dramatic girl who never missed an episode of dramas and soap operas was so ready to create her own drama with the man in her dreams.

Kwon Jiyong, on the other hand, knew nothing (or cared only SO little) about all the arranged marriage. Anyway, his parents were just talking casually so many years ago to Dara’s who were their long-time friends about the marriage, who would’ve thought they would take it so seriously?

He was a simple guy, friendly, open-minded and all. He, of course was not perfect, well… almost. For one, a neat freak, snores loudly when he sleeps, loves singing but always out of tune, and loves all kinds of music so there were heaps of songs he had made absurd (skill: flattening all tunes, he couldn’t even do do-re-mi right). He lived away from his parents in Seoul (he’s a grown up, please), in a rented cozy apartment at the heart of the city, because yes, he made good for a living, nothing near ultra-billionaire or anything but sufficient enough for the two of them to live a long time.

Two?

Yes, he and his darling, fierce, kind of fiery but always cute (at least for him) girlfriend for years, Lee Chaerin. His friends would call her emotionally unstable because that’s what she was all about, one minute she was filled with anger (be careful of the flying plates! Ouch!), the next she would be all cute and adorable like that Puss in Boots of Shrek, next (usually nearing midnight) she would turn into one big stack of hot iness (RRRAAWWRR..). Of course, she was not literally crazy that she would need to be sent to a mental asylum. She’s just… woman. (and all women are like that --quote credits to Jiyong’s friends).

Lee Chaerin, an independent woman who loves her little boyfie (she loves to call him that) so much although the love was expressed in a not-so-convincing ways. Her time was mostly spent in front of the canvas, drawing paper, sketch book or computer or just some random places. She’s no pushover despite her pretty face (especially when she was on cute mode). An artist (and sometimes model when she feels like so), moody, dangerous when angry or just PMS (Jiyong knows this best, he’d learned the hard way), cute at most unexpected times, and hot almost all the time but at its best nearing midnight (or whenever little Ji --his other nickname-- is around). She couldn’t cook no matter how many times, how hard she tried. But she is no quitter, so she kept trying when she had some free times (and of course little boyfie had to eat it no matter what).

So when Dara's saving was finally enough to come to Seoul, got the approval from Ji's father to live with him (because... How could one just ignore her puppy eyes?), entangled straight to the core of their lives and creates love triangle web in no time, how would the couple reacts?

Would there be some more flying plates (or pots, or chairs?) thrown by the fierce girlfriend? Would there be some crying and tears of the dramatic fiancee? Would Jiyong actually care about all these? And most importantly, would he be able to sing something right? (okay, the last one was not so important… but would he?)

Fasten your seat belt darling dear, because when you get through all those words and finally read this, that means you are ready for some twisted adventures. Don’t you dare close your eyes, you might miss the fun.

Author's note:

I know I still have to finish 'The Queen of Hearts', and I will! But for the meantime, let's enjoy this little story I made some time ago.

This one is far lighter than the overly dramatic QoH. Basically about a normal couple (as normal as yours) with little glitches along their way.

I hope you like it :)
