December.12.2012. It has begun. The moment everyone was waiting for. An apocalypse. People all around the world have started to die out--because of an oddly dangerous virus that turns the dead body into one that can move. Move and eat, but not think. And so what are these monsters that have been created? Zombies, of course. They're called 'walkers', since that's the only thing they really do. They walk. They eat. And yeah, they do go around scaring the out of people. The world's population has dwindled to a measly 10,000-20,000 survivors left. None of them know each other, and none of them know where the they are, hiding out and scavenging in order to survive. The survivors have the job of getting rid of the zombies and cleaning up the storm. As of now, there are no broadcasting radio stations or tv stations. Cell phones no longer work, and the internet is filled with blogs and articles about the apocalypse...but it is empty as a desert, tumbleweed floating by every now and then. But that's not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is retaining a stable mind. Thinking like a rational human, instead of like a savage or an animal. Because becoming wild and screwy in the head is what will ultimately destroy you.
If you'd told this all to Park Sumi a year ago, she'd laugh in your face and ask if you were doing some kind of drugs. But now it's different. With all her friends and family turned into 'walkers', the young girl has to fend for herself, with no martial arts training or some kind of badass knowledge of how to use a gun. Thrown into this situation unexpectedly, Sumi has to think like a survivor and keep herself alive. However, Park Sumi didn't realize that when everything goes to , most of the people go complete lunatic and become dangerous. Who can she trust? And who--or what--must she kill?

A/N:
Wao, look at this! A zombie story just in time for Halloween. c: I'm proud to say that I'm probably better at writing gore and horror than all that cute fluffy stuff (I'm not sure whether to be happy or weirded out by that xD). I've been watching lots of The Walking Dead and playing the game lately, so it really inspired me to go on and make this fic. The Walking Dead really does give you a good sense of what the undead are like. Not just that they're after you for munchies, but also how they became that way and specific details about what they're like. It's my first story with an OC character as the main, since I generally don't like OCs in stories that much. Well, she is the main character, but her co-main characters Sehun and Chanyeol are pretty important as well. :3 And as for Sehun and Chanyeol...let's just say that I might have made them a bit different from what they're usually like. But hey. Too bad for you if my characterization displeases you. And as for couples... .___. I don't think you're going to be wanting to somebody when there are zombies clawing at your door. But just for you , love-seeking little girls, there will be bits of romance every now and then. I'm planning on planting lots of twists and turns in this story, and just saying before you start reading, this story will have lots of psychological mindblowing involved as well as some really gory scenes. Sumi stood frozen. It's not everyday that you get to see a rotted, former human crawling desperately at you for food, eerie moans and grunts getting closer and closer as you're frozen from shock. She looks back at Sehun, who is frantically overturning shelves and opening up drawers, searching for the supplies that will keep the two of them alive.
She looks back at the decayed 'walker' on the floor, wriggling close enough to abruptly seize her legs.
"SUMI! What the are you doing?!" Sehun bellowed furiously from across the spacious room. "MOVE!"
Sumi just stares at the zombie. Sehun yells once more, trying to get her out of her odd trance. "Kill it! Shoot it!"
"I...I can't." Sumi tries to back away, but there's no way that she's able to kill that 'walker'. Any other walker, she could have took out single-handedly. A clean blow to the head and it's dead, like how she was taught by Sehun. The walker would be gone for good. But not this one.
Because this one was her former boyfriend.
