It was a quiet day at Uncle Psy's Playhouse, too quiet actually, well it was naptime after all, so yea. However, there was one little boy who didn't fall asleep like the rest of the kids.
Han CheoWon was up, staring longingly outside the window. He was currently having a dilemma. He sighed and kept repeating the action until it woke Kwon JinHo up.
"What's up, Cheo?" Jin asked sleepily, rubbing his eyes as he stared up at the lone boy staring outside the window. “Why aren’t you asleep?”
Cheo didn’t even bother giving his hyung a side-glance while he continued looking outside the window, as he just sighed in reply. Frowning slightly, Jin got up and made his way towards the beautiful boy.
“Ya, what’s the matter?” Jin asked again.
“Jin,” Cheo spoke for the first time, eyes still staring outside the window. “Why is it, I was born with beauty?”
“BWOH?”
Cheo continued, as if he wasn’t interrupted by Jin’s sudden outburst. “I mean, how could I be cursed with such a face? I know I was born with good-looks like my dad, but I didn’t realize that it was a curse til now.”
By this time, Jin had a poker face on. Annoyed with the fact on why he even bothered to care for his friend’s troubled expression when in fact it wasn’t any important in the first place.
“How come?” Jin asked, looking bored. “You being cursed that is.”
“So many girls are in love me, and I can’t seem to return all of their feelings,” Cheo said looking troubled. “I’m such a bad man.”
“You’re barely legal enough to be called a man,” Jin said, rolling his eyes. "What?" he said, frowning when he caught Cheo glaring at him.
"You don't believe me don't you?" Cheo accused. "About girls falling in love with me."
"Cheo, you're what? 6 years old! Can you even hear yourself?" Jin shook his head in disbelief, he should have been dreaming about chocolate right now, not having this weird conversation with the vain playhouse king.
"Jin, do you know what tomorrow is?"
"Ugh, Sunday?"
"Yes, and it's also Pepero day."
"Your point?"
"Let's have a bet, whoever gets more Pepero from girls tomorrow will be the winner. And the loser gets to do whatever the winner commands," Cheo smiled.
Jin frowned, "Why should I play? I hate getting things from girls, they have cooties."
"Everyone knows that cooties are urban legends, pabo," the younger boy between the two of them, rolled his eyes.
"I'm still not playing, it seems boring."
"We could ask the other guys to play if you want," Cheo suggested. "I mean, the king couldn't just have one servant right?"
Jin narrowed his eyes at the chuckling boy, "What makes you so confident that you'll win?"
Cheo smirked, "Because I'm the son of the great Kim Heechul, and I am the king of the playhouse."
