Key's POV:

Alright, today is the day i'm planning on confessing to Jae. I was extremely nervous! We've been friends since the first year of high school. But there was one thing she still didn't know about me. I was madly in love with her. I was thinking since we were friends for quiet a while, maybe we can move up to becoming boyfriend and girlfriend. Well that is of course IF she has feelings for me as well. I plan on giving her a bouquet of roses and confessing to her on a beach. I called her yesterday asking if she wanted to "Chill" on the beach with me and she was all for it. So now I'm driving to her house to pick her up and then we'll be on our way. I left the bouquet in the back seat so she wont see it until we get there.

I parked in front of her house and called her cell phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey, its Key! I'm in front of your house in the car!"

"Oh, Hey Key! I'll be right out. Hold on one sec." and she hung up. 

I looked at the front door and she ran through and jumped in the car and gave me a big friendly hug.

"Key! I missed you!" 

I started to blush when she said that. I felt my heart beat even faster.

"I missed you to." I said a bit quietly.

"Ready to go?" 

She nodded. "Lets go!!" 

I couldn't help but giggle. I started the car and started to drive. She the radio and Loving you by Sistar started to play. She started singing along. She was so adorable. I looked at her watching the wind blow through her hair with the sunset coming. It felt breathtaking just watching her but I had to keep my eyes on the road again.

When I finally pulled over in the beach parking lot, I got out of the car and opened the door for Jae. She got out of the car and stood there watching the beach from far away. She closed her eyes and felt the light breeze gently hit her face. I quietly went to the back of the car and grabbed the roses and put them in a bag so she wouldn't be able to see until later on. I then opened the trunk and grabbed a bunch of towels. When Jae finally opened her eyes I passed her a towel. 

She giggled. "Gomawo." 

I smiled. I couldn't help but JUST smile. Every time she's around or whenever I think about her, I start to get goose bumps. She also makes me feel fuzzy inside. A feeling I had never felt in my life before I met her.

We started to walk and finally made it to the sea shore. We set down our towels and she stood by the shore as the water ran over her feet. I stood next to her and watched the sun set. I figured if we went during the sun set it would be more breath taking and romantic, and so far things were going as planned.

Jae's POV:

I stood on the sea shore and watched the sun set as the water went on my feet. It felt so calm. All you were able to hear was the water hit the sand and the seagulls flying in the sky. But I wonder why Key brought me at this certain place at this time. I have to admit it was an amazing idea but is there a reason he brought me here?

All of a sudden I sensed Key stand next to me. I looked over to him and saw looking out to the sun set. I felt my heart speed up. I was starting to get really nervous. To be honest, I'v fallen in love with him since the first time I met him. But I was never able to confess to him. I never had the courage to anyway. I think that Key wouldn't like me back. I'm scared if I confess, we wont be friends anymore. In my opinion, I think i'm too shy. Especially when me and Key are alone. 

All these thoughts were running through my mind until they were interrupted. I felt Key's hand go on my shoulder.

"Wanna have a snack?" He asked with a sweet smile on his face. I nodded. We turned around and sat down on the towels. He had a bag next to him. I wonder what he had brought. He placed his hand in the bag and pulled out a small container. He put it in between us and opened it revealing cut up watermelon. I picked one up and took a bite. It was absolutely delicious!! 

When we finally finished eating the watermelon pieces we started to have small conversation. 

"So how is your part time job working out for you?" I asked.

"Its going great. But I need more money. I think i'll have to find a second job." 

"Really? Well I hope you don't over work yourself." I said concerned.

Unlike me, Key wasn't rich but he tried his best to earn some money. To me it didn't matter if he was rich or not. I would still love him for him. He is just an amazing guy. Very hard working as well.  

"U-umm Jae?" Key stuttered.

Key's POV:

Jae seemed concerned about my part time job. I wanted to change the subject, but nothing popped in my head. I then noticed it was starting to get dark and the sun set was almost gone. I think I should confess to her now. I took a deep breath and started to speak.

"U-umm Jae?" I stuttered.

"Ne?" 

I started to feel nervous and bit my lower lip.

"There's something important I need to tell you."

"Mwo? What is it?" She asked slightly tilting her head in confusion.

I looked down to my hands. It was hard to look at her in the eye and tell her. It would just make me more nervous.

"W-well, as you know w-we have been friends since the first year of high school and........w-well......."

"W-what is it Key? Just say it."

I looked up into her beautiful sparkling brown eyes and felt her curiosity. I turned around and took out the roses from the bag and placed it in front of her. Her eyes widened from surprise.

" Since the first day I met you....... w-well..............I'm in love with you, and you probably don't love me back, but I just wanted to tell you. I've been in love with you since the first day I met you. S-so will you be my girlfriend?"

There. I finally did it but seeing the expression on her face made it even harder for me. I saw her lip quiver and her eyes become watery. I looked down to my hands again and tried to avoid eye contact. But then she put her hand over mine. 

I looked back up to her beautiful eyes. Tears were falling down her cheeks but for some reason she was smiling.

"Yes." She whispered.

"I love you to." She said.

A few seconds later my eyes targeted her lips and I slowly leaned forward. Our faces were inches apart. Jae's fingers were still intertwined with mine and our faces were still moving closer and closer together until there was no longer a space between our lips. It was a long passionate kiss. It was so gentle and sweet. We sat there on the beach with the sun almost down with our lips still locked. Finally, something i've been waiting for, for such a long time is happening. I am now Jae's Boyfriend.
