Lay smiled “wufan,” he acknowledged the former. Chen cringed and stopped on his tracks. That name, he dared not to call kris by his real name and yet some strangers freely call him. He grew paler, eyes darted everywhere “jongjong?” jong in moved in, it’s a sinking feeling that occurs when his beloved better half feels bad, and, or worst. He gave his brother a back hug “I think I’m dying –inie” he murmured in a different language, leaving the three Chinese lost.

After that awkward incident, Chen have gracefully avoid his man, cramming himself with his school works, choir practice, dance practice (because jong in told him too), reading books and mastering other languages his father requires him. “Non ho visto Kris, dove il ragazzo ora?” (i haven't seen Kris, where's the boy now?) His father ask, Chen tried to hide the ill feeling with a shrug. “don’t know” he answered, and stood up, “aalis po muna ako,” (I’m going out for a while) leaving the table, he went to his room and packed his bag. His bedroom door opened “where?” his twin ask, and he smiled brightly. “brushing up on the moves” he playfully threw a shirt at his brother, “with who? You never told me—

“yixing, is helping me, isn’t he nice” but jong in is skeptical… “you’re avoiding and eloping, if lay hyung gets into a fuzz with your dragon, I swear I’ll murder him and his deer” chen cringed at his brother’s threat, jong in is never a tempered man. But lately that luhan boy keeps hitting on his sehun. Another thing was his unpleasant feeling towards Kris, he never know why… yet never asked. Chen walked to his brother and hug him, “guard your own. Don’t do what I did” he whispered before dashing out of his room.

“you’re—

“I at dancing, when we were born he took up to dad… and ignored mom’s talents”

“but you need—

“I’m wounded…”

“sorry, sing for me …”

“hmmm?” Chen hummed in question, it’s like his with Kris, and the formed sentence is the same ‘sing for me’. With Kris, it was sort of a demand, he always comply but then, right now, it was more of a plea coming from someone he just met a few days ago. “what song…?” the latter grin and ask for a mandarin song, knowing he can and happily will. Little did they know two people were watching them from different places, hissing at the thought of betrayal…

Few more days have passed, everybody’s forgetting who they belong to.

“KIM JONGDAE!!”  chen fell of his bed at the sound of his name coming from his mother. “OHAYO HAHAWE” he greeted his mother, rubbing morning glory off of his eyes. His mother’s brow twitch. “what morning? KIM JONGDAE it’s 2 in the afternoon, you slept in three classes!!!” he got hit with his pillow. “mother, I called in sick” and throw himself back in bed. “Chen?” his mother’s voice softer, he felt his mother’s weight sinks in the bed, “is my songbird okay??” she whispered, rubbing his back for comfort. He tried to feign ignorance, but we’re talking about Wang Fei Fei, his mother. “no… but I’m not talking” he whined like a baby, his mother laughed “aigoo, you talked like your father…” and patted his . “get up, someone’s waiting for you downstairs” and he was left alone. ‘who could it be?’

He walked in a laughter-filled room, hearing the language of his mother. He quickly ran to the kitchen. “um— yixing sunbae”

“annyeong haseyo…”

“Wha—

Another doorbell, “wait here?” his mother left them to answer. “ready for practice?” chen nodded “let me go get my bag” and run off to his room. When they were about to leave. he saw Kris standing by their door, with that luhan again, he mustered all his will power and held yixing by  the hand he open the door “hi” he greeted kris, “hello” he greeted luhan “I’m busy, bye…” and took off. Leaving Kris dumbfounded ‘what’s gotten in to him? And—

“why is yixing here?” luhan verbally ask the same question that was formed in kris’ mind. “kris!!” he turn to look at “omo-nim”

“you look lost…”

The next days was dreadful, Kris went back to the faced that he was once. People were already spreading rumors. Chen has not seen his brother and sehun, and by this time he knows the two are arguing. He could sense it.

“KIM ING JONG IN, I AM NOT CHEATING ON YOU”

“AND WHAT DO YOU—

“I’M LOOKING FOR ANSWERS!!! FOR JONGjong …”
his voice gone softer, everything that he and jong in have is all because of jongdae. And now his closest friend—his brother-in-law needs his help. Jong in walked to where sehun was, wrap the younger one with his arm. “love… I’m—forgive… my apologies from the depths of my heart. The heart that belongs to you”

Chen went to the place no one knew he goes to, there he poured his heart out in silent cries. The pain of insecurities is there, up his throat. He wants to scream it out, and let his pent up frustrations off of his chest.

“jongdae, right?” he wiped his tears away before looking up ‘wow… great…’ he looked at the stranger. The unwelcome intruder sits beside comfortably. “you know, I love wufan” the stranger freely claim, chen’s scalp prickles ‘there it is again, that name’ he never admits it, but he got hurt when kris didn’t allow him to call him wufan, in that same light kris never called chen, jongdae. “I didn’t ask”

“cold are we?”

“….”

“talk to me, you’re hurting wufan”

He turn to the stranger before turning back on staring 50 yards away. “fine, I’ll talk” the stranger up air and blew it out with a huff.

“my name is luhan, wufan’s first lover, I fell for his demeanor. I have a for his kind. We became official, people accepted us. I was welcome to his world. Everything I am not, he would fill”

“we broke up on our 15^th month. Everything was crazy, I was relieved and hurt when he went away. Leaving me with unanswered questions…”

Luhan sighed ‘stubborn like his brother’ he stood up, inhaled once more and started singing. The same song they sang together. Chen couldn’t stop himself and sang along.

“…. What is love~”

Luhan turned to him, “I’m sorry if I’m messing up your relationship with him, I only want to patch things up. I never moved on when he left. I wanted to move on, so I could start again.”

Chen shook his head, ‘what twisted story do I have?’ “KIM JONGDAE!!!” he turn to luhan who was a few meters away. The deer boy have his hands on the sides of his lips “tell jong in I’m sorry.. I won’t hit on his sehun anymore. I like yixing better!!!” and ran off…

Chen met Luhan in a very strange circumstance, and was happy to end it properly. Did I say was?

Kris pulled up in front of the dance studio, he once followed chen to. He walked in and saw yixing dancing. They met eye to eye through the mirror, yixing smiled “wufan…”

“why are you doing this …”

“doing what…”

“you, Chen… my chen!!!”

“oh… he’s the current one… I never knew—

“!!! You know, everybody knows—

“is fame getting to your head wufan… I will repeat I never knew…”

“then I’m telling you now, leave my chen alone… he has nothing to do with us.” kris told him through his clenched teeth. Yixing gave him his dimpled smile “no, I like chen…” yixing was pulled by the collar of his shirt “if one word came out of you, I swear… YOU.WON’T.LIVE.ANOTHER.DAY” kris pushed the boy away and walked up “better tell him before I do,”

Kris waited for Chen outside the lecture, he ditched his own midterm for his Chen. When the bell rang he came in the room and drag Chen out.

Chen didn’t fuzz, he felt that he’s losing Chen, his Chen. They got to the rooftop without any trouble—yeah well yixing was there, “Jongdae…” yixing greeted the singer, who quickly waved his hand, the one without kris’ restraining. Kris is losing it, and why his Chen interacted with him, like stabbing him, oh dear, “I want to explain it myself .. go off wufan” he said it with his dimpled smiled, the sly bastard that he is.

“no…”

“I’ll listen… let go of me” chen pried kris’ hold on him, and walked to where yixing is.

‘god, help me, I don’t want to lose Chen… I love him so much’

“don’t worry…” kris turn and saw luhan. Patting him on the back, “this will work”

“what do you want to tell me yixing…sunbae”

“have you ever wondered who am I to wufan”

Chen’s fidgets at the name “yes… but I will not pry”

“I don’t feel so…”

“aigoo, such a wonderful person… and cute too… now, back to the problem at hand”

“and that is …”

“I’m sure, luhan told you who he is to wu—kris… I should tell too… I’m kris’ first..”

Chen’s eyes widens. ‘the—did I just heard…’

“I was also the reason why the broke up, you see. I loved and still love luhan, I was mad when I heard they got together, when luhan expressed his liking to me, I wasn’t delusional I have witness. Then it broke me with I some them kissing. I was pissed off, I need some payback. As a person with many connection I heard from my friends that kris, isn’t that loyal. I waited for long time to commence my revenge; I build up my connection with kris, flirting here and there. Then he fell for it. I was his first experience. The reason they broke up…”

Chen’s mind malfunctioned, ‘what?’ he made a quick glance at kris and back at yixing. “i—uh..”

‘i don’t … kris—how can I…no …no I can’t even… I will not cry, I already know this was possible but why does it hurt so much, it’s Kris it can’t be helped. I will not cry. I will not cry. I will not cry’

‘ I feel betrayed, why do I even love you…’

Yixing smiled at the lost looking boy “I came here before kris got here, I kept a low profile and I was shocked to see, them still that close” yixing’s face expressed pain, but gradually smiled. “luhan talked to me, he said he came here to clear things with kris, he talked to me and told me everything.. I still love him and gave him another chance jongdae…. You should too”

“why are you…

“I like you, too much for luhan’s liking. I’m telling you this because, kris was caught up in my world and luhan’s. he wasn’t suppose too. You’re his cure Jongjong…” yixing pulled him in a hug “give him another chance” with that he let him go and ran up to where luhan is and hug the older one tighter, patted kris’ back

“good luck wufan … you are his” luhan said

“and he is yours … I hope” and ran off (people and their running off)

When they were far enough “what’s with ‘he is your, I hope’ ?”  luhan hits yixing’s chest without much effect on the boy.

“well, jongjong isn’t hard to love… I was about to fall—

“good thing you didn’t”

“Chen, I’m sorry, I should have explain I should have put more effort… I’m sorry if you ever felt that I didn’t love you, because I do, with all of my heart and soul. I’m not okay when I know you’re mad at me… I should—would have given you my time than—

‘I sure hope so, one more heart ache, kris I don’t know what to do, if it happens’
