The couple met the deer boy in one of the get-together the Chinese students in the university put together. Having a Chinese background, Chen was asked by his lover to join too. Seeing that he has nothing to lose he came. And boy was he wrong.

The doe-eyed was gorgeous, so beautiful he irritates Chen’s eyes. The younger found out that— well, luhan was one of the few Kris took seriously. After hearing that, Chen’s stomach flips. It didn’t help how close the two are, both mutually and physically. Unwanted thoughts ran in Chen’s mind and decided to quietly excuse himself out. He never came back and walked home.

‘hyung?’

‘the next morning, he walked to his class. He came early so he can avoid his lover. But alas, the Chinese man was hot on his tail. “chen.chen?” he tried to ignore the call… ‘please, not today’ he want the older one out of his sight just to clear. Kris caught up with him. “chen,babe?” Kris locked him in his embrace, and buried his face in Chen’s messy locks. Chen loosens up a little, by the size of his pinky. “babe, you left last night, I was worried, you didn’t answer your phone, nor replied to my text messages… is there something wrong?” there’s no doubt that the great Kris became frantic last night. He went around the venue looking for him, even asking luhan for help. He even went too far and called jong in, Chen’s twin brother. “kai, told me, you didn’t look okay when you went home,” he said as he turn Chen to face him, the boy in dilemma didn’t look at him and nodded, ‘why would I lie about that?’ and heaved a long sigh. He gently shook off Kris’ hold on him. “give me time” and he left his lover wondering.

“sehunnie~ jonginie~” chen wailed as he ran up to his brother and friend, the two boys welcomed him with open arms. He buried himself in their embrace, while the two laughed at his cuteness.. “what the matter jongjong?” his brother ask, he just fervently shook his head and tighten his hold on his brother. “you know, I’m your twin… I can see you” to some the statement was rather weird, but to the twins, it means a lot deeper. Sehun quietly ran his hand through chen’s hair, the boy decided to catch up on his sleep. Resting his head on his friend’s lap; on the bench and; his twin holding his hands as he sits on the grass leaning on the bench, “hey…” they look up at their intruder. “Kris..” they greeted in sync and monotone voice. You could feel the hostility in the air. “he’s asleep, I already told you he’s not feeling well. And I will not give my brother to you when he’s in this state” ‘and it’s all because of you’

Kris nodded, when he was about to say something, someone called him “Wu Fan” he turned around and saw luhan prancing his way. Sehun and jong in’s eyes narrowed at the sight that unfolds. The stranger carelessly pounce at Kris, the other boy held him in his embrace. “you found him?” he spoke in mandarin, the two younger male made noise of distaste, the foreigners turn to them.  “is there something wrong?” the stranger ask, jong in stared at him with his infamous ‘do I look like I care’ while sehun gave out his poker face, yet he answered “aftertaste” . luhan’s eyes sparkles in delight, he never saw such a beautiful boy. “who are they Wufan?” kris stared at luhan. The older one looked so weird, he coughed and introduce the two boys.

“this is Oh  Sehun and Kim Jong in, my lover’s twin brother.” The two boys didn’t flinch at the sound of their names, they just stare. “guys, this—

“ I’m Luhan. Wu— Kris’ ex” at the confirmation of his connection to the taller one, sehun’s face contorted and jong in growled under his breathe. “my brother needs rest, and rest needs some tranquility, by all means .. leave” Kris didn’t like how he got treated. But for his Chen, he will put up with kai. “oh… we better go Kris, see you later Sehun…” he acknowledged the youngest “jong in” the iciness of how Luhan said his name, might send someone off. But it didn’t work on jong in. he is Kai, the coldest.

When they left, Chen squeezes his brother’s hand “if you didn’t like how I treated your KKREEAASSEE… you should have talked to him.” Sehun agreed with his 'friend', plus his curiosity of the foreign boy got the better of him. “he’s Kris’ ex? Now I know—

Chen cut off sehun “not a word” through his clenched teeth.

He went back to class alone, if he let ‘kai’ or sehun walk him to class, rumors will spread again. When he was about to enter the class room he didn’t want to come in anymore ‘should have listen to jonginie, should have listen’, he didn’t like the idea of someone clinging to your lover, other than you—yourself. he took a step backward and bumped in to someone. “jongdae, are you okay now?”

Kris look up to the name and smiled, his chen is oka— no, not really. “no… wrong move. need to go back” and he ran off. “che— luhan held kris by the arm. “you are in deep —and it’s—

“shut it lu…” kris hissed as he slumped back on his seat, worry eating him alive.

‘i lost— he didn’t have the chance to sing when someone intruded, he pouts. ‘jonginie is mean, and so is sehunie” the two men laughed at his cuteness “let us accompany your beautiful voice, with our flawless moves” sehun said as he did a little twirl and jong in put down their bags… this is the best about having a twin and a friend that are close to you. They’ll put up with your non-sense.

“so, jongdae will pair up with luhan…”

“WHAT???”

“is there something wrong”

“…..”

“no? then you two will sing this …” the instructor handed them the lyric sheets. “you’ll perform in two weeks tops, you can add things to your performance—

“this is in mandarin—

“I believe that’s where your mother’s legacy comes in Chen” the instructor emphasizes his chinese name. ‘ugh… frustrating’ he walked to his items and decided to take off. Kris was waiting for him outside, didn’t realize he ran off screaming “jeongjengiya!!!” luhan followed him out of the room but didn’t pursue a chase. He then noticed kris “he took off idiot”

“sure” jong in glared at his friend, ‘when did he… never mind’ and sighed “I’ll do choreo but I won’t perform, sehun can do it on his own” jong in looked up to his brother “you have to face him though” and he knows.

Though Chen didn’t like it, he put his un-liking of luhan’s existence aside and work with the boy. Luhan couldn’t believe that someone like Chen has that kind of voice, he also agreed on the dance. He agreed cause of the benefit it brings, if people haven’t notice.

“here,” luhan gave a bottle of water to sehun and shove one to  ‘kai’. The latter smirked at the hostility. “hyung…” ‘kai’ called his brother, and talked to the boy in a different language “he have hots for sehun, no need to get insecured” but his brother shook his head. “I’ll focus on that later, and guard your own.” And professionalism is bare inside the studio.. while they practice singing, the two boys learns the choreo.

The day of the performance, chen didn’t invite kris knowing the boy will be there for Luhan. “you look great jongjong!!!” ‘kai’ excitedly hollered clasping his brother and jumping up and down “what about me…” sehun interjected and the twins laughed and gave the pouting maknae a bear hug, luhan didn’t like it but didn’t want to pry, he was the intruder after all.

They walked to the stage, eyes searching for that blond. ‘he came’ chen happily thought. He was about to call his lover, but luhan beat him to it. “wufan!!!” luhan waved his whole body to get the boy’s attention. Chen gripped his mic harder and concentrate on the performance.

 Which he did.

After his performance he quickly ran to the backstage, he wasn’t looking and bumped on someone “woah~ hold your horses” he look up and stared at a fair looking man, sporting those cute dimples. “oh hey lay!!!” chen turned around and saw his brother walking their way. “I see you met my brother” ‘kai’ happily added, his arm over Chen’s shoulder. “you’re KIM JONGDAE, the KIM JONGDAE?”  you could hear the older one’s accent. “yes…” Chen managed to squeaked, his brother and the unknown man laughed at his cute. “the nightingale of the music department is this cute… kai you should have introduced him to me a lot earlier” he accused kai, he turns back to Chen “you have one of the most beautiful voice, and I still can believe you’re this” pointing at kai “dude’s brother—c

“jonginie!!!” they’re turn around and saw Sehun followed by the duo. Kris glared at the sight, lay was holding on Chen’s hands.  Chen’s eyes widen, ‘the face’ he thought, he saw what Kris’ was staring at. Sehun ignoring luhan’s advances circled his arms on Jong in’s waist. “hey there babe” he whispered, the latter tried to control his squeal. “bastard, I’m ticklish” he hissed back.

“chen.chen?”

Chen looked up, “yes?” he looked at him indifferently and spoke in monotonous. Kris didn’t like it, “come here” he asked—ordered, chen sighed and complied, moving away from his brother’s hold and Lay’s… ‘Lay?’

“yi-yixing?” kris looked like he saw a ghost, first it was luhan. Now yixing..
