Kris just came out of basketball practice when he saw chen prancing around some dude. It irritated him ‘he never did that around me’ he decided to eavesdrop on the boy.

“…nu-uh.. joonmyunie hyung, you promise” chen pouted around his friend, sort of. In his peripheral view, kris saw how beautiful the man is, milky white skin, slightly toned and that smiled ‘ I don’t smile like that’ “fine I will, for you jongjong” the man patted chen’s hair and the latter squealed “ottoke!!! Hyung you made my day…” and tackled the older down. ‘is he.. no chen wouldn’t’ and kris just walked…

“what’s wrong fan?” luhan ask, the three of them sat at a café near their university. Kris had his head against the table. “I saw chen hugging some other dude, aegyo-ing around him… he never do that around me” kris complain yixing patted his head “you should see it, better than snsd’s sunny” luhan swatted his lover’s hand and glared at him “are you sure it isn’t his twin or sehun?” the deer boy asked, “chen called him joonmyunie” kris whined at the pet name, yixing choked at his drink “!!”

“what is it?”

“uhm kris, be careful. You’ve got one competitor”

“who are you talking about xing?”

“kim joonmyun a.k.a suho, the angelic guardian.. the dude with the most beautiful smile, and the gentleman of the gentlemen”

 Yup, that’s a threat alright and kris banged his head on the table again earning stares from the other customer and crew.

he was walking with chen, holding hands. The younger one skipping like a child, Kris chuckled inward, he never thought of Chen this cute. But all of the boy’s friends including yixing said that his freaking cute. Why is it, he the lover, the boyfriend rarely seen it? Chen unclasped his hands around Kris’ and sprinted forward “joonmyunie hyung!!” his Chen chirped at the sight of his ‘joonmyunie hyung’. Chen pounced at the older male. Kris gritted his teeth and walked ever so fashionably to his mate. “chen?” his cold voice, resonates around, chen looked up to him and smiled then turn back to the other male “see you later hyung,” and hugged the male tighter. The joonmyun dude smiled and walked off. Chen’s smile drops when he saw how kris glared at the walking figure of his hyung. “kris?” he whispered, confusion audible in his voice. Kris snapped at him and tugged him away.

After that incident, Chen was well-guarded. The only time he have a moment for himself is when he’s in class without the older man or at home, sleeping. “he’s a hogging bastard, that’s what he is” baekhyun, a good friend commented. Though the diva knows he’s at clear ear-shot, he made his comment clear and crisp. “ I agree, I feel like he doesn’t trust you at all.” Kyungsoo murmured, looking down at his music sheets. Chen sighed and glance at his lover, and sighed once more ‘what are  you doing kris?’. He looked at kyungsoo sheepishly, “it’s a little harder now, but I’ll do my best”. His friend smiled, “ I don’t mind”

“Why so blue? Aren’t you happy kris is all over you?” jong in asked, as he plays with his brother. Chen threw his controller and plopped on the carpet, “it’s suffocating, I ask for a little attention, not him glaring at every direction,” covering his eyes with his arms and sighed. Jong in looked at his brother sympathetically.  He laid beside chen and had his arm over the other’s waist, pulling his brother to him. “you always got me hyung, and sehunnie” Chen Smiled, at least he got his brother.

Kris is going for the worst, glaring at everyone who wants to be near his Chen. The young lover could only sigh, “I’m his brother’s boyfriend, kris, paranoid much?” sehun retorts at the glaring menace, chen smiled at him “hey there brother-in-law” he greeted the boy, and entertain the boy’s request for a hug. The younger talk in a different language (I haven’t found a suitable foreign language)

 “I just want to see if you’re okay, joonmyun appa said he’s worried. He doesn’t like seeing you on lock-down”

“I know, I don’t like it either”

With that, they parted ways, chen was welcomed by kris cold look “what were you talking about?” he got scared “nothing, his mom wants me to visit… a little catching up” he nonchalantly answered moving back to kris’ side. “shall we?” he ask staring into the eyes of his man. Kris’ smirk, this is his Chen. But he didn’t know what he’s doing to his lover

And the reason for kris’ outburst:

Kris was about to cross an intersection of hallways when Chen ran pass the other way. Curiosity got the better of him and decided to follow his lover. “joonmyunie hyung !!! kamusta? (how are you?)” his Chen Squealed, that snapped kris’ patience and understanding. The conversation drifted to a language he didn’t understand. What made things worst was that joonmyun initiated the hug and kissed Chen on the forehead. ‘he’s chea— NO!!!!’ with that kris stormed away. He’s off to kill someone.

“No!! he ing kissed chen on the forehead”

“you said it yourself, on the forehead. It can mean anything!!!”

“ the possibility of him hitting on Chen, is there too”

“for ’s sakes get a hold of yourself WuFan” Luhan screamed in mandarin, the latter halts and stared at his friend. “he won’t do it to you… Chen would never do it to you” Luhan assured him. “I don’t know what to do ge… I just…” and kris fell on his knees and cries in silence. the first time he cried after a long time.

 The next day, he saw joonmyun strolling down at the University Park. He willed all his might to confront the charming, “Kim joonmyun?” he called and the latter smiled warmly. Kris cringed a little, such a beautiful smile ‘a smile I can never give him’. “yes?” the young man ask, kris cleared his throat and  look at the man’s eyes. “what is your relationship with Chen?”

“chen? Ah! Jongjong!!, wait… are you his lover?”

“yes, would you answer my question…”

“I would love to but, I want to make this clear… I don’t like you for jongjong. I believe you’re bringing him pain, I could see the stress in his eyes. It was never there before he met you. If you tru—

“ I.AM.CONCERN” jommyum raised his voice, kris was taken aback a little , “he is important to me as he is to you, now if you truly wish happiness for him, LET.HIM.GO”

“never” and they had a stare down, “joonmyunie hyung? Kris?” they turned around to see Chen looking at them, confused and what not. Chen reached for kris’ hand and the latter held him “is there something wrong?” he ask both man, joonmyun smiled. “we just talked, I better go jongjong”  joonmyun caressed his left cheek and walked off. Kris is really pissed off. He turned his lover to face him and forced the boy in a kiss, a very rough and dominating kiss. Chen pulled away, and made distance between them. “what is wrong with you!!!?? You’re acting funny and overprotective and now!!! Pull your together before you talk to me kris!!! Talk to me when you are yourself again” with that, Chen walked away.

Days passed and kris grew depressed, chen hasn’t answered his calls or replied to any of his text messages. He’s sitting on a stool at a bar, staring at his wallpaper. His beautiful chen. “you look awful” he turn and saw kai… kris raised an eyebrow. “what did you ate and you’re talking to me?” he sarcastically ask, jong in just shrugged and sat beside him. The dancer ordered a cosmopolitan. “you’ll never know if you won’t calm down and ask kris… all you need to do is ask” with that jong in drank his shot in one go and winked at the taller man before walking to the dance floor.

Two more days passed, luhan had nagged him of going back to studying because finals are coming. He’s not going to fail because of this issue. “at least before the finals make up with him” and that’s what kris will do.

 He walked to chen’s class and saw the former sittiing alone. Reading his notes and checking if they’re correct. Kris smiled, his lover is one hard working student. He walked to chen’s side. “who are you? And what do you want from?” chen ask, without taking his eyes off of his papers. “chen…” kris spoke his name like a ghost, and he kneeled down “talk to me…” but the lover didn’t budged… wrote something on a paper

The next day, kris prepared everything and it’s all set. He had to bribe a lot of people for this and he’s hoping for the best.

When he got there … “go to the main library …”

At the library … “ he just left… to the park”

He was panting like a beat up dog when he got to the park. Everything was unusually pink..

‘that song’ and chen searched for the source. He watch as kris walked to him and kneeled in front of him “please … I love you “

Chen’s vision blurs… he can’t believe kris would go out of his way just to ask for forgiveness. “yes” he managed to squeaked  “oh thank you… I’m so stupid to act that way. I really—it’s just that …

“shh… it’s okay. I already forgive you” chen said, pulling to stand. The latter hugged him and he returned the gesture. The walked back to the building, and saw joonmyun. Chen walked to him “joonmyunie hyung?” the latter beamed at him. “oh jongjong” he engulfed the boy in a hug. “I’m so happy …” he squealed at the boy’s neck. Kris on the other hand, tries hid best not to lounge at the boy… “joonmyun hyung? jongdae?” they all stared at the boy, joonmyun let go of chen and ran to the boy and embraced, spinning around and kissing the owl eyes passionately. Chen chuckled “ I never knew my cousin was this cheesy, so high school girl-ish” and shook his head. Kris’eyes widen ‘ the I was jealous of his cousin?’ “thanks for your help jongjong” his cousin called “no prob, dad wants to see you he said bring kyungie with you….” He smiled at his friend “welcome to the family kyungie”
