He held onto her soft, warm hands to stop her from fixing her luggage and putting in more clothes into it. “Is this really necessary? Do we really need to be away from each other after all this?” He looked softly into her eyes, as if begging her to just stop doing anything and just stay with him.

Min looked defeated but she knows she can’t tolerate this anymore. She has a life back in New York and she’s scared that it’ll happen again, that the events this summer is just going to be another just another joke.

She doesn’t want to go through all that anymore. Everything that happened this summer, all the funny butterflies in her stomach, all the sweet things, and this guy named Simon Dominic. Min just wants to forget all of that and him, because she knows that as soon as her plane lands in New York, she would just get into her usual, stressful life being the assistant of the greatest Korean fashion designer, Susie Kim.

Min wanted to hold him back but all she could do is slide her hand out of his grasp. “I can’t do this Simon. I can’t. Did you really believe that everything that happened here in Cabo is going to go on forever?! I have a life back in America!” she said, tears threatening to come out of her eyes.

Simon couldn’t do anything but let her go. He wanted to be with her but she was right. She has a life back in New York and he still has work in Cabo. He’s only going to hold her back.

She got out of the cabin and out of his life.

I think I’ve been watching too much of Oh My School that I fell in love with Simon D and Min’s friendship. But in my head, I want them to be real couple. But of course that would be very impossible with their age and given that Simon D has a girlfriend already. But hey, one can dream right? :))
