I stayed silent as I finished my hot chocolate. When I swallowed the last gulp I spoke. "I don't really want to know. We have no form of any kind of relationship. We aren't friends. We're strangers to each other. It's been that way for a year now. I don't even know why he came here. I don't understand why you all came." I sighed and looked up to meet their gazes. Daisy emitted nothing but anger, whereas Kristan radiated with hurt and confusion. "I'm not mad that you came. It's nice to see you again. Really! You don't know how much I missed you." I smiled warmly and was relieved to see a flicker of some warm emotion on Daisy's face. 

 

"We missed you too. You didn't have to just get up and leave without telling us. We were really worried. I didn't even know until Mr. Russell told me. And he thought I knew. I even asked Danielle and she didn't know either. She is like your sister. You didn't tell her?" Daisy sipped the hot chocolate and her eyes widened, no doubt because of the quality of it. I smiled inwardly but at the mention of Danielle I frowned. I hadn't told her because it was a surprise. When I was going to tell her she went in for surgery and I didn't want to stress her out right before such a crucial surgery. 

 

"I... Will tell her soon. I just can't do it yet. She's under a lot of stress and I can't do that. If she asks tell her I'm visiting family in Michigan. And that my phone is messed up. And I should probably stay offline as well." I bit my lip in frustration. I felt terrible for lying to everyone. I didn't think anyone would miss me. 

 

DAISY P.O.V.

 

"So Kevin hasn't come to see you yet?" Kristan said his name with a slight hint of anger in her voice. She was always a kind girl. Even when Kevin had been rude to her while Sara was dating her she stayed silent. But when he broke up with her because of Kristan she didn't forgive him. I was pretty sure Michelle knew about the problems. She just didn't know the reason that Kevin left Sara. 

 

I looked at Michelle's face. It really was different. Before her skin was a warm cappuccino color and her eyes were just slightly less Asian looking. She actually looked happier than I remembered though. She seemed less stressed and her smile wasn't the same. It had changed. It was... Real. "No. After he had called me the other day to help you guys he never contacted me again. To be honest, I was hoping he wouldn't even try coming back to my school. I don't need anyone seeing me with him. And... I don't want to see him to begin with." She met my eyes and I saw something there I only ever saw when she used to talk about Kevin, back when she still loved him. Kristan caught on quicker than I did. 

 

"Are you dating someone here?" She gasped and a grin graced her Hispanic features, reminding me of the way Michelle used to look. It was shocking how much had changed in less than a year. 

 

Michelle's now milky skin turned a shade of red I'd never seen on her before and she averted our gazes. She gave a nod and then smiled. "He's really sweet... And from the moment I met him... I was transfixed. He's a musician... And a singer... He's tall. He's everything I've ever looked for. Except the green eyes of course, but his brown orbs are like liquid chocolate. He's perfect." Her smile got wider and wider as she described this mystery guy. I was truly happy for her. She'd been so depressed as she tried her hardest to get Kevin back. I could still remember the day she was crying to herself in one of the practice rooms. She tried to blame the tears on her frustration on one of the songs she'd been practicing. But I knew better. It was the day that I had told her that he had started talking to Sara and how she liked him. I didn't say it to hurt her. I told her because I didn't want her to get hurt when she saw them together. I smiled and jumped when my phone rang. I looked at the screen and gulped. It was Kevin. 

 

"Who is it?" Kristan peeked over my shoulder and her eyes widened as she read the caller ID. "Oh." She turned back to Michelle and smiled. "We should get going. We have to get back to the hotel soon." I ignored the call and sighed. He sent a text message. 

 

I can't leave until tomorrow morning at 10 am. Have you seen Michelle? Don't tell her I'm leaving. Don't even tell her I stayed. Just tell her I'm in ia with my family if she asks. Is she happy?

 

I frowned. He was running away again. I sighed and bit my lip. I might as well do this for him. I might as well help him since he helped us get here. 

 

"He is on the flight at 10 am tomorrow at Incheon airport. Gate 5. Just in case you have anything to say to him. I'm glad you're happy again." I gave her a genuine smile and stood to leave. Kristan followed suit and then hugged Michelle, her eyes watering. Michelle's own eyes widened and she hugged her back a smile gracing her now more elegant features. 

 

"It was great talking to you guys again. Call me again. Maybe I can introduce you into a few friends." She smile widely and bowed deeply. When she came bak up she started waving and the same smile from earlier never left her face. As Krissy and I made our way back to our hotel she spoke. 

 

"She's happy here. She's happy without us. I'm sure she has much better friends than we ever were." Krissy bit her lip and frowned at the ground. I pulled her into a hug and patted her back. 

 

"Don't say that. You did nothing wrong!" She sobbed against my shoulder. I honestly thought the same thing. I felt terrible for how I had treated her. I pushed her away and made her feel just terrible when I talked about Kevin and Sara. I sighed and led the way back to the hotel. On the way I sent a text to Kevin. 

 

Meet us at the small cafe down the street from the hotel. Hurry up!

 

CHAERAE P.O.V.

 

I smiled at the ajumma as I was about to leave. "Aigoo! I really want you to meet my daughter! Can you stay for just a few minutes? She should be here soon!" I nodded

 

"Ne." I sat down and pulled out my phone. I looked at the charm in my hand and smiled. I couldn't wait to see Chanyeol again. His smile was a virus and I needed to see it. A lot of memories were triggered with Daisy and Krissy's visit. I shook my head as if to rid myself of the painful feelings I'd pushed away. 

 

"She's here! Jueun is here! Chaerae! She's here!" Jueun? I turned to the door of the cafe and gasped. It was Jueun! My Jueun! 

 

"Chaerae?"
