Ji Yong’s POV

 

Ahhh………..hangover…………………

 

I stagger as I walked my way to the classroom.

 

“Ji Yong, what happened?” Seungri said.

 

“Umm…headache.” I lied.

 

 Dara pressed her forehead into my forehead to check my temperature. Her face is really really close to me.

 

I feel uneasy.

 

“Seems like your temperature is normal.” Dara noticed my uneasy face so she quickly put a distance between us. “Sorry. I’m used to this way of checking temperature, my mother always checks this way.”

 

“I-It’s okay.” I said.

 

“Guys, I see ants so stop being cheesy.” Seungri said.

 

Dara blushed.

 

“Maybe hangover? Nah…Ji Yong doesn’t drink alcohol.” Seungri said.

 

“Yeah.” I lied again.

 

I have a great tolerance in alcohol, it just that the next day… I got hangover.

 

Seungri is my friend in school. We’ve been friends since first year high school (that’s last year). I moved here in Seoul to fully take care my territory and also the company (before I moved here, I’m travelling back and forth, from Busan to Seoul); I convinced Eung Soo abeoji to stay here in Seoul again.

 

Morning classes are done. Seungri and I went to the cafeteria.

 

“Whoa, it’s jam packed”

 

We saw Dara waving at us so we make our way to their table. In one of the tables we’ll about to pass I saw Lee Teuk, as I walked passed him he suddenly moved his foot to trip and humiliate me but I reacted quickly so I skipped his foot.

 

I gave him a quick smirk.

 

“He’s crazy.” Seungri said glaring at Lee Teuk.

 

 

 

“Is your head still aching?” Dara asked me.

 

“A lil’ bit.”

 

She gave me a medicine. “Here”

 

“Thanks.”

 

Dara smiled.

 

“Don’t go in your own little world.” Bom said.

 

“No we’re not.” Dara defended.

 

“I heard that the music club members will be having a selection for whose song will be played for a week.”Seungri said.

 

“How’s your song?” Bom asked me.

 

“A little more and it’ll be finished.”

 

“Ah guys, my parents want to invite some friends for dinner tonight ‘cause my brother got accepted in the Judo club. So are you free?”

 

“Yeah” Bom and Seungri said.

 

“How ‘bout you, Ji Yong?”

 

“Yeah, I’m free.”

 

“You said you have a part time job?” Seungri whispered to me.

 

“It’s okay.”

 

“What school is he attending right now?”Bom asked.

 

“ChungHua Daejin High school”

 

“Omo, that’s a school for athletes.” Seungri said.

 

 

 

 

On the way to Dara’s house I texted YoungBae:

 

I’m gonna be late so take care of everything until I get there.

 

YoungBae replied:

 

You have a date? With Dara?

 

I replied:

 

Yah!!! It’s just a dinner at her house with her family and our friends!

 

He replied:

 

Ohhh…why didn’t you say so? Hehe. It’s just that you told me that she cares a lot about you.

 

I replied:

 

We’re friends, okay? Nothing more.

 

He replied:

 

Okay if you say so.

 

I replied again:

 

Oh, and call my butler told him to send my clothes and a coloring mousse to the company.

 

He replied:

 

Okay.

 

 

Author’s POV

 

Dara, Bom, Seungri and Ji Yong arrived.

 

“Omma, Appa, we’re here.”

 

Seungri and Ji Yong introduced themselves.

 

“Omo, is that you Ji Yong?” Dara’s omma said.

 

“Ne”

 

“It’s just like yesterday you were just a little boy playing with Dara.” Dara’s appa said.

 

“Yeah” Ji Yong smiled.

 

“Cheondong-ah! Your noona’s here!” Park omma said.

 

Cheondong came down.

 

“Are they your friends, Dara noona?” He asked.

 

“Yup. Do you still remember Ji Yong?”

 

“Yeah.”

 

“Annyeong, Cheondong-ah.” Ji Yong said.

 

“Ji Yong-hyung!”

 

“I heard that you got accepted in the ChungHua Daejin’s Judo club.”

 

“Yeah, I was really happy getting accepted.”

 

“ChungHua Daejin is a famous high school for students aiming to be a professional athlete. You chose a good school.”

 

“Ggomawo”

 

 

After eating dinner, they chat in the living room.

 

“I’m glad my daughter has good friends like the three of you.” Park appa said.

 

“Dara is a really responsible class president.” Seungri said.

 

“Of course, she took after me.” Park appa said.

 

“She took after us.” Park omma corrected Park appa.

 

They laughed.

 

“Ji Yong –hyung, how are you right now? 11 years ago, we just heard that you moved suddenly right after the burglary incident. ”Cheondong asked.

 

“Cheondong-ah…” Dara said to her brother because it is a sensitive topic.

 

“It’s okay.” Ji Yong said. “After the incident, I moved to Busan and lived with my father’s best friend. Then I moved back here again last year.”

 

“You’re living alone right now?” Dara asked.

 

“Yeah.”

 

“I don’t know about that.” She whispered.

 

“Then  maybe Dara can cook for you…” Bom said.

 

“That would be a great idea.” Park omma said.

 

 “Maybe there’s someone who cooks for him.” Cheongdong said.

 

“I have a butler.” Ji Yong said.

 

“Really??????” Seungri said.

 

Ji Yong nodded.

 

“Wait, you’re his friend and you don’t know?” Bom said.

 

“I’ve never been to Ji Yong’s house.” Seungri said.

 

“Then let’s visit Ji Yong-hyung’s house tomorrow after our classes.” Cheongdong said.

 

 

 

After spending time chatting together, they decided to call it a day.

 

Ji Yong took a taxi.

 

“Where is Ji Yong going? That’s not his way to his house.” Dara said.

 

“I think to his part time job.” Seungri said.

 

“What’s his job?” Bom asked.

 

“I don’t know.” Seungri said.

 

 

 

Ji Yong arrived at the company.

 

“Student, do you have an appointment here in the company?” the guard said.

 

“Are you new here?” Ji Yong asked.

 

“I asked if you have an— ” the guard is stopped by another guard who just came.

 

“Ji Yong-nim, I’m sorry but he’s new here so he still doesn’t know.” he said.

 

“It’s okay.”

 

“Who is he?” the guard asked when Ji Yong is out of  sight.

 

“He’s the president of the company.” the other guard said.

 

“But he’s still a student…”

 

On the surface, Sunwoo Yong is one of the largest trading and shipping company in South Korea. It is secretly owned by the Mafia. In underground, the company is involved in illegal trading and shipping; all the operation of the company is being handled by Ji Yong including the operation of the company on the surface and on the underground because he is the president. He became the president three years ago.

 

Four uppermost floors are being occupied by Ji Yong and his division, and the uppermost floor is his office.  

 

Ji Yong’s POV

 

I arrived at the top floor. When the elevator door opened I was welcome by my division.

 

“G-Dragon-nim, this is our first time seeing you without coloring mousse.” a member said.

 

“Really? Don’t get used to it.” I said. “Where’s YoungBae?” I asked.

 

“He’s inside your office.”

 

I entered my office and saw YoungBae.

 

“How’s your dinner?” YoungBae grinned.

 

“Put away that grin on your face.”

 

YoungBae laughed.

 

“It went well but…”

 

“But?”

 

I paused for a while. “It’s nothing.“

 

“Ji Yong-ah, I’m your best friend, what happened?”

 

“They asked me if I’m doing fine right now.”

 

“The incident was covered up as a burglary incident by the Mafia, right?”

 

“Yeah. Let’s not talk about that.”

 

“Okay.”

 

“Ah right, they plan to visit my house.”

 

“That’s a first, who’s idea is it?”

 

“Dara’s little brother.”

 

“Ahhhh... Dara’s little brother…”

 

“Stop teasing me.”

 

I changed my clothes and my hair color in the closet room.

 

“YoungBae-ah, you’re a member of the Judo club in your school right?”

 

“Yeah.”

 

“By any chance, do you have a first year new member named Cheondong?”

 

“Yeah, we have why?”

 

“Just asking.”

 

“Ji Yong-ah, you have a meeting with the marketing department 30 minutes from now.”

 

“How about the files that I told you?”

 

“I’ve already sent it to your house.”

 

“After the meeting, we’re going to visit So Hee’s night club. The others who have duties tonight can’t go with us.”

 

“Okay.”

 

 

Author’s POV

 

The meeting with the marketing department ended. Ji Yong, YoungBae and the others exited the building through the garage.

 

They arrived at So Hee’s night club. A drunk middle-aged man is rampaging inside the club.

 

“I can touch her anywhere I want! This is the purpose of this night club!” the middle-aged man shouted and began to caress the girl. A young man tried to stop him but was punched on the face and fell down.

 

“No it’s not. You’re here to just have a drink with a pretty girl, if you want to relieve yourself go find a e!” Ji Yong punched him hard on the stomach. The man fell down on his knees. “Go throw him somewhere.” He said. “You okay?” Ji yong said to the young man but he was ignored and the young man runs outside.

 

“Ignore him, he’s just embarrassed.” So Hee hugged and kissed Ji Yong.

 

“What’s that for?” Ji Yong said.

 

“My thanks.”

 

 

 

They sat down and each of them has a girl beside them, while So Hee sat beside Ji Yong.

 

“Who’s he?” YoungBae is talking about the young man a while ago.

 

“He’s my little brother.”

 

“You have a little brother?” Ji Yong asked.

 

“Yeah, a week ago he was living with father before he died from cancer. He’s in rebellious state right now.”

 

“You should take care of him.” Ji Yong said.

 

“I know.”

 

The waiter brought two glasses of juice.

 

“Why juice?”

 

“Kids shouldn’t drink alcohol.” So Hee whispered to Ji Yong’s ear then bit his neck.

 

Ji Yong sighed and passed the two glasses of juice to YoungBae.

 

“Drink that.”
