Part II (Final)

The next few days , the weather outside was not so good. It just kept pouring rain and lighting and thunder scarred Ren at night. But Ren had Baekho , so he didn't mind and everyday ,and especially everynight, seemed wonderful . It has been a month they've been together, a month since the car accident and it has also almost been more than 10 days since they have heard of Ren's adoptive father. Even though Ren disliked the old men with a passion , he was still afraid of what might've happened to him . Was the old man alright?

"I have to go look for him" Ren said one day when he was looking out the window with Baekho .

"What!?" Baekho turned around to face Ren violently . "No , i can't let you! Especially in this weather ! Are you crazy!?"

Baekho was right it was raining badly . Ren knew it , but he was determined . He stood up and so did Baekho.

"You might think i'm crazy ...worrying about a person like him..But even though he did all these evil things..He still took care of me Baekho" Ren said looking at Baekho hopelessly .

Baekho looked down at his feet and back up at Ren. "I'll go too then."

Ren was about to refuse but he knew Baekho wouldn't let him go by himself so just nodded.

The forest was dark . It was only the afternoon but because of the clouds everything was dark. Ren and Baekho luckily each took torches , but because of the rain it was still hard to see .

The wind was really strong.The boys linked their arms so that they wouldn't get seperated.

"Do you see anything?" Ren asked seeing that Baekho had posed for a short second.

"No..just trees everywhere" Baekho replied.

The boys walked and walked . Screamed for the old man..but nothing.

"Are you okay!?" Baekho asked Ren who was shaking and had trouble walking.

"Oh i'm okay--" he threw a weak smile at Baekho. "Just a bit tired that's all"

"Okay then let's go back ok?" Baekho said really worried. HE held Ren's hand and turned around. Ren let go of Baekho's hand.

"No! ..I-I need to find him!" Ren said weakly but still determined . He turned around to walk but fell and the torch he had broke.

"REN!" Baekho ran to Ren and sat next to him putting his torch on the side . He touched Ren's forhead . He had a fever . He picked him up and piggybacked him ready to head back to the house.He bent down with Ren on his back and got the still-working torch.

"Please..find him Baekho" Ren whispered to Baekho with his eyes closed sleepy-like.

Baekho sighed and his heart was racing . He didn't know what to do.And when he thought about it, he didn't even know how to head back home and ..and what if some hungry wolf or wolves came out of no where to eat them?!

"Please.." Ren whispered again.

Baekho put the torch ahaid of him ,breathed in and out and kept walking. He walked and walked and walked until half of the moon was seen. Ren slipped a few times but he managed to put him back properly. Then the worst thing that could happen happened. The last torche's batteries died . "" Baekho said under his breath. He shook the torch and hit it but the light only flickered for a few seconds then died completely. It was now super dark and the moon's light was hidden by the clouds.Baekho was becoming weak but he couldn't panick he had to keep walking. Then he saw a light . But the light soon disapeared like a shooting star. He ran foreword . "What was that light?" he thought. He walked and walked and again he saw another light . This light though seemed closer and he heard an engine. "The Road!" he said his eyes widening up. He ran and ran with Ren on his back still passed out.

Ren's POV :

I was awakened by the brightness of the sunlight .I covered my face with my hand as for not to get blinded by it. I looked around and stood up. The room i was in was painted white. There was a TV hanging from the wall and a little couch next to where i was. On that couch , Baekho was sleeping. I tried to get to him but realised that a sort of oxygen mask was put on my mouth.

"Baekho.." I said . But he only flinched a little. I looked around for something to throw but couldn't find anything. "Baekho!" i yelled louder and he stoop up violently.

"Eh!? Eh!!! RENN!!" He ran to hug me tightly. He sobbed than cried. Then i sobbed and cried. Our tears mingled together .

"Are we in the hospital?" I asked when Baekho finally let go.

He nodded. "You've slept for 3 days."

My eyes widened . "3--3 days.."

He nodded again wipping of his tears than mines with his hands.

"And the old man..." I said looking down on the bed's white sheets.

"Well ...about that--" Baekho said looking at his feet.

"So he died huh?" i asked looking back up at Baekho.

Baekho's eyes were misty.

"I should've know..That momment when you posed in the forest...I asked you if you saw anything and you said 'just trees' ...I should've known you saw him" I felt myself shaking.

"Ren , i'm sorry i lied..Just didn't want you to..se that." Baekho answered sitting next to me on the bed and putting his arms around me.

I pushed him away a little to face him. "Thank You." i said. We sobbed then kissed...a long kiss it was. It tasted like salt.

"I love you Baekho"

"Love you more Ren"

Few days after Ren got out the hospital , the boys sent a missing report to the police. For days , the police searched for the old man . But in the end they found nothing. Even the little house that had been there was not found . Everything of Ren's past , was gone. Just like that.
