So that’s what I did. That’s what I, Kim Key did.

I will continue to love Onew.

I will keep enjoying his presence

I will hope for a day when he will love me back.

I picked up the bag on the floor and made myself walk. I don’t know where.

Maybe somewhere around Incheon, I did hear a party was being held there today. I dug my hand in my bag and called him.

“Hello?” A feminine voice answered. Luna, Onew’s sister was on the other side.

“Hi, it’s Key. Is Onew home?” I asked playing with my phone chain.

“Hey Key! But sorry, Onew went out with Jessica.” My heart pained.

With Jessica.

I hung up as I made myself walk over to a store. I bought banana milk.

“Key~!” The warm brown-eyed Onew shoved a carton to my hands.

“Banana milk?” I twirled the box as I looked up at him.

“Energy drink! It makes you happy!” He smiled proudly.

“Does it work?” I asked him teasingly but Onew had just grinned.

//end

And now, I sat here I drank. The sweet taste devouring my tongue. It did make you happy.

I blinked twice before finishing the content. A group of boys dressed in blue ran to a building.

The screamed and laughed. They were Blue.

The door to the tower opened as music filled my ears.

And I’m on the prowl

As the door closed, the song faded. A few minutes passed like this.

The door opened for the nth time. Music lights. A boy.

His hair flew around him as the blue liquid in his hand toppled.

Onew.

Even from 100 meters, I could see him perfectly.

I watched him wobble, the blue liquid sloshing in its container.

A blue liquid.

Blue.

I saw him talk to a boy as he smiled and nodded.

He took a cigarette, and I froze.

He smiled as he lit the lighter, fire enflaming in blue.

I watched him smoke.

Fear surrounded me, as it was my turn to ask.

What should I do?

I kept watching him smoke. Tears slipping out of my eyes.

I watched the boy

Cough

Wheeze

Gasp

But the desperation in his eyes and the neediness he presented.

He craved for it.

I watched him put it near his lips again.

“STOP” I suddenly, yelled. Onew looked up.

“ONEW! STOP!” Realizing he was looking at me, I cried out again.

“STOP IT! DON’T DO THAT!” I yelled, tears overflowing.

“Onew… stop…” I buried myself in to his chest as an alcoholic smell entered my nose.

He giggled, perfection starting to slide away.

“Onew, you’ve got to stop.” I told him as he smiled.

“It feels nice…” He giggled and I cupped his face.

“I love you.” The blunt words blurted out of my mouth as he stopped.

“I love you! I love you I love you I love you.” I cried harder and mercilessly.

“I love you, so please. Stop this.” I shook my head.

His blue orbs glistened.

“I-I love you as clumsy Onew, flirtatious Onew or even stupid, dumb Onew. But I hate seeing this Onew. The blue drug addict. I hate it.” I whispered

A drop of tear fell from Onew’s eyes.

I pulled him in for a hug as he hugged me back.

We spent a few minutes hugging.

The cold wind flapping against out skin. Our cheeks and eyes were red.

I pulled away as Onew’s puffy eyes faced mine.

“I love you.”

The three word I hope Onew would say came out from his plump lips.

I smiled, leaning in. I kissed him.

The kiss wasn’t a friendly one, or a teasing one.

It was the kiss that made me feel like a thousand lives.

We broke apart as I laughed. It seemed all silly.

He laughed as well, his eyes slanting back.

And just from that laugh, I could see old Onew again.

Black hair, warm eyes, gentle and cute clothing.

The Onew I’ve always loved.
