Pandemonium
These Words I'll Never Say.March, 2004
They say two is company, three’s a crowd. How is it that in a raging sea of students she is able to shine so brightly? That among all her friends, she is the most stunning. That among all of her classmates, she is the most intelligent. That among all of the names murmured in the cacophony, hers is the one I hear. That among all of the girls who try to speak to me, she is not one of them. Seohyun. That’s what she’s called. Isn’t it just the loveliest name ever? Her name glides off my tongue with the most tender of whispers. It’s soft and delicate like a flower. She’s no ordinary flower though; she’s the rarest and most florid of all. But what do you call this kind of flower? How do you talk to a flower? Do you simply walk up to it and say, “Hey there pretty flower, you smell mighty pleasant this morning!”? I have yet to find out. However, there’s a slight problem. I have a girlfriend already.
