6:00PM, miles away in a bedroom hostel in Seoul

Two boys sat shoulder to shoulder, facing a 39-inch plasma monitor. Brows knotted in concentration, fingers busy smashing keyboards. The smiley boy nudged his ‘opponents’ shoulder while his eyes never left the battle.

“Why did you do that?”

The paler boy gave a quick glance towards the other before concentrating back to his game. 

“Huh? Did what?”

The other boy stopped looking at the monitor and turned to his friend. His eyes searched for the others.

“Why did you tell that stupid Fish HyukJae’s hiding place? I mean, you love him, right? Isn’t this the best moment for you to console him and claim him as yours?”

Still glued to the game, the paler boy effectively avoided his friend’s knowing stare, knowing if he looked at him now, he’ll see the sympathy inside them. He doesn’t need it now. The boy took a deep breath then flashed his famous evil smirk.

“Hmm, it’s because of my love to him I did that.”

The dark haired boy shook his head in disbelief. Part of him admired this game addict for his pureness, but another part of him cursed him for his stupidity. That’s one great opportunity he let go just like that.

 “You’re weird.”

“Nah, weird is good, it’s a trend now. Don’t you know?”

Another violent keyboard abuse later, the monitor blinked with bright flash and a character danced at the centre of it.

“Take that! I killed your boss, KiBum. Hahahhahaha! I’m the best!”

wrote this for a very looooooong time ago for an event in LJ. i even sent this for beta (which i seldomly does) but i did. thanx for my beta.

this one was written while i listened to Yesung's 'it has to be you' and inspired by Jay Asher's 'thirteen reason why'
