“mmmmph” Yuri rolled around her bed tapping every corner to find her alarmclock

“aish where is that stupid clock. It’s so darn noisy” >__<

Yuri finally opened her eyes when she started to get annoyed at the sound of her clock

“There you are” She turned it off then laid back down her bed...

“OH MY GOD I’M GOING TO BE LATE!” Yuri jolted up as she remembered that she’s going to school today. She ran to her bathroom and quickly took a bath. She almost slipped good thing she held onto the door knob. After that, she changed into her school uniform and fixed her hair

“I really don’t have a thing for school uniforms… Why don’t they just ditch these clothes and let students wear casual clothes. It looks so boring” -_-

She freshened up and took a look at herself in the morning one last time

“You can do this Kwon Yuri.. Aja!” She pumped her fist in the air and went down the stairs… She headed to the dining table and saw her Dad reading newspaper

“Oh good your up. Eat up then let me take you to school. It’s pretty far from here you know” Mr. Kwon said while eating his breakfast

“Dad, I told you already last night. I don’t want to make people notice me” Yuri sat in her seat and ate her breakfast

“So what are you gonna do? Walk there? Are you crazy?”

“Uhhh…” Yuri thought for a while

“Just let her drive the other car, son. It’s not much of a use here” Mr. Kwon’s father joined their conversation as he went in the kitchen to make some coffee

Yuri was smiling ear-to-ear at what she heard from her grandpa

“appa, You serious?” Mr. Kwon gave his father a you-gotta-be-kidding-me look

“Of course. Why won’t I be? Now go to school. You’re running late” Her grandpa gave Yuri the keys to the/her car

Yuri was really happy and excited. She kissed her grandpa on the cheeks “Thank You grandpaaaaaa!”

“Be careful Yuri-ah! Don’t get into trouble, okay?” Mr. Kwon put down his cup of coffee

“Yes dad, I will” She gave her dad a kiss on the cheek and ran to the parking lot to find the car her grandpa just gave her.

“Waaaa? A pink mini-cooper? KAWAII!!!!!” She went straight to her car and turned it on

“Way to go grandpa!!” Yuri was so excited. She headed to the high school using the GPS on her car.

When she arrived, people were looking at her direction

Oh yeah. Who wouldn’t notice a pink mini-cooper? Pabo!

She got out her car and students were looking at her. She just ignored them and asked for directions from the staff in the school.

She was walking towards the direction the librarian told her and was nervously thinking about what she would do and how would she introduce herself to her new classmates

When she arrived at the room she was assigned to, a well-dressed woman with long brown hair and wearing glasses approached her with a big smile

“Hi! You must be Kwon Yuri the transferee! I’m Ms. Lee Hyori, your adviser” She bowed. Yuri bowed back and introduced herself to her

“Come yuri, let’s go inside, shall we?” They both went inside and the students who were busy talking and playing stopped when they saw Yuri and her adviser and quickly took their respective seats. One student in particular caught Yuri’s attention.

“The girl I bumped in to! I’m in her class?” Yuri whispered.

Booyeah! We’re in the same class! Way to start my day! ^___^

“Ahem” Ms. Lee cleared to gain the attention of her students

“This pretty lady rigth here is a transferee. From now on, she’ll be your new classmate! Please introduce yourself to the whole class” Their adviser said

Yuri took a step forward. “Annyeong-hasseyo! Yuri-imnida! I’m from Japan. Pleased to meet you all”

She put on her prettiest smile and and bowed politely

The girls in the class started whispering something and the boys’ whispers were so loud that Yuri heard it

“wow dude, she’s really pretty”

“yeah I like her smile. She’s really beautiful” Some of the boys whispered

“Okay Yuri. You can sit there next to Sooyoung. It’s a vacant seat” Ms. Lee pointed to where Sooyoung was sitting and Yuri immediately followed her instructions

When Yuri was seated in her chair, she was greeted by a wide-smiling Sooyoung

“Annyeong! I’m Sooyoung! You can call me Soo or whatever you like to call me. Nice to meet you!” She smiled at Taeyeon and introduced herself to her

She also made friends with other students like Seohyun and Taeyeon.

The bell rang and it was time for lunch

“Hey, Yuri would you like to have lunch with us?” Taeyeon asked the tan-skinned girl who was packing her notebooks in her bag

“YES! LUNCH! Nomnomnom~ I’M SO HUNGRY!” Sooyoung barged in. Yuri just laughed at how Sooyoung acted

“Yah shut up! I was talking to Yuri” Taeyeon slapped Sooyoung’s shoulder which earned a small yelp from her

“OWH! That hurt. Why you little-“ Sooyoung got cut off by TaeTae who was already glaring at her

“Sorry don’t mind Soo here. She’s  just a shikshin. So? What do you say?” Taeyeon put her attention back to Yuri who was giggling at how childish the two were acting just a moment ago

“Yeah sure. Why not?” Yuri got up from her chair and brought her bag

“Great! Lego amigos! Le Shikshin  goddess is hungry” Sooyoung who was getting impatient led the group outside and to the cafeteria

 

--IN THE CAFERTERIA—

 

Jessica’s clique was sitting in a table together. They were the popular girls in the school. They were rich, smart and pretty as well. Everybody wanted to be their friend. The group is consisted of 4 best friends. Jessica, also known as the Ice Princess. Tiffany, who has a mesmerizing eye-smile. Sunny, known for her incredibly cute aegyo. And last but not the least, Yoona. She was tall and had an angel-like face.

“Hey, Jessie! What do you think of the new girl?” Tiffany asked as they ate their lunch

“She’s pretty” Jessica blushed a little. She hid this from her friends but they all noticed Sica’s pinkish cheeks

“Omo! You like her, don’t you?” Sunny said with a high tone

“Lower down your voice Sunny-ah! My ear hurts” >__< Yoona said annoyingly

“Jessie, answer me!” Sica wasn’t answering. She was in some kind of trance or something.

“OMGEEE CUCUMBERS!” Sunny shouted

“eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Where?! Get it as far away from me as possible!!!!11” Jessica squeeled.

“Aish jessica! Stop making dolphin noises!” Yoona covered her ears

Jessica punched Sunny’s shoulder when she realized that it was just a prank.

“Yah that hurt! I only did that so that you’ll come back to reality… You weren’t paying attention to me” Sunny pouted

“I don’t know.” Jessica mumbled

“Huh?” the three said in unison

“I said I don’t know” Sica repeated earning questioning looks from her friends

“about what exactly” Tiffany raised one of her brows

“Sunny asked me if I like the new girl… I don’t know” Jessica pretended to act cool but deep inside she’s dying from all the butterflies

“Oh” once again, they said in unison

“How about you, yoona? What do you think about the new girl?” Tiffany asked Yoona who was taken aback from the question

“who? Me? Uhhh, I guess she’s okay” Yoona said awkwardly

“Look! She’s having lunch with Taeyeon and  her group” Sunny said pointing to their direction

“What? Did you say taeyeon? Where? Where?” Tiffany scanned the whole cafeteria

“There!”

“Oh” Tiffany blushed at the sight of Taeyeon.

You see, Fany has a big crush on Teayeon for a while now and she’s too shy to tell her how she feels. The typical, afraid of getting rejected. But little does she know that Taeyeon also has a big crush on Tiffany. She’s just afraid to tell her ‘cause Tiffany’s rich, popular, and smart and pretty. How could a girl as perfect as her like a short girl as dorky as Taeyeon? Well, that’s what Taeyeon thought. But Tiffany fell for her because of her dorkiness. Tiffany likes simple, down to earth people… And also, Tiffany thinks that Taeyeon is straight (which is not) and Taeyeon also thinks that Tiffany’s straight (well, she’s not).

“Just tell her already Tiff, you can’t keep it forever you know” Jessica said in a motherly tone

“I will. Someday” Sica sighed at her bestfriend and they continued eating.

 

--IN YURI’S TABLE—

 

“Hey soo, Jessica’s clique is looking at our direction” Taeyeon said trying not to be obvious

“That’s impossible. How could they look at us? They’re popular. We’re just normal students.” Seohyun said

Sooyoung who was busy eating took a look at the scene and was shocked

“No seo. It’s true. They’re looking here.” Sooyoung turned her back at them

“They’re looking at Yuri” Seohyun added with a smirk on her face

“Huh?” Yuri was confused

“Yeah you’re right seo. They are looking at Yuri.” Taeyeon said as she ate her lunch

“And now they’re looking at you Taeyeon. Specifically, TIFFANY. Your oh-so-pretty crush. HAHAHA!” Sooyoung teased the short girl

Taeyeon just looked and then looked away when she saw Tiffany looking at her. She felt milions of butterflies in her tummy. She could feel her cheeks burning. They’re bright red by now. Sooyoung and Seohyun kept teasing her making her blush more

“Hey you guys… Stop. I think Taeyeon’s gonna blow up if you keep teasing her. She’s really red now” Yuri said. Teasing her even more

TeaTae just lowered her head and the rest of them just laughed. Taeyeon’s just so cute when she blushes

Yuri saw Yoona who was sitting with Jessica’s clique. Curious, she asked Seohyun.

“Hey seo, what’s the name of that girl?” Yuri pointed to Jessica’s table

“Which one? There’s about 4 of them there you know…” Seohyun said while eating her pudding

“The one who’s sitting beside beside Jessica. With the brown long hair.” Yuri described yoona’s features but had to stop ‘cause it’ll sound awkward if she keeps doing it

“Oh. That’s Yoona. She’s a year younger but skipped a level ‘cause she’s so smart.” Seohyun said

“Oh. Just like you?” Yuri was curious

“Uhh, yeah you could say that. Haha” Seohyun smiled knowing that someone acknowledges her being smart

“She’s nice” Yuri said lowering her head slightly

“What? Did I just hear that right?” Sooyoung stopped eating at what she heard Yuri said

“Yeah. She’s nice. I met her. Well, bumped into her actually and I accidentally spilled my drinks on her clothes. She didn’t get mad. She even said sorry for not looking at where she was walking.” There was a flashback on Yuri’s mind on how they first met and she suddenly smiled

“Jinjja? Well, I guess she was in a good mood at that time” Sooyoung replied

“Why? Is she bad or something?” Yuri was hoping that she wouldn’t hear anything bad about Yoona

“Well, ‘bad’ isn’t the right word for her… but ‘cold’. When someone confesses their feelings to her, she just rejects them in front of a lot of people. I mean how embarrassing is that?” Sooyoung started to raise her voice

“Yeah. Remember Go Hara? She once liked Yoona very much. When she confessed to Yoona, she gave her chocolates. You know what Yonna did? She rejected her and left bringing the chocolates with her. But she didn’t eat them; she threw them in the garbage can outside the room. Hara just cried her heart out. It hurts getting rejected by someone you really like you know…” Sooyoung said while wiping with a napkin

“But let’s not be judgemental guys… Maybe Yoona had a valid explanation for what she did.” Seohyun added

“Yeah, Seohyun’s right you know” Taeyeon added

“Thanks tae unnie!”

“No problemooo~ but I gotta admit. You’re wiser than us even though you’re 2 years younger. And that scares me” Taeyeon said with a pokerface

The rest agreed with Teayeon. Minutes of chitchatting passed and they returned to their classes.

Ms. Hyori was planning on giving the students projects for their MUSIC class and had a quite good idea in mind

“Okay class so much for that discussion. I’m gonna be giving you projects for MUSIC!”

“Yes!”

“What’s it gonna be?”

“I hope it’s gonna be something fun”

That was the responses of the students. They were really excited about it.

“I’m gonna pair you up with your classmates and you’re gonna be composing a song. You can do whatever you want. May it be dancing while singing or playing instruments but make sure the song will be sung live. Okay? And before I forget, you’re gonna be performing it on stage and I’m gonna pick the best and the winning team will be the one to represent our section in the upcoming SoShi High Got Talent”

“waaaah jijja? Awesome!” Tiffany was clearly excited

“okay so for the pairings, listen up people!” Ms. Hyori held up a piece of paper and read it out loud

“Seohyun and Sunny”

Blah blah blah blah

“Tiffany Hwang and Kim Taeyeon”

Blah blah blah blah

“Jessica Jung and Choi Sooyoung”

Blah blah blah blah

And last but not the least…

“Im Yoona and Kwon Yuri”

“That’s all guys. You’re dismissed! See y’all tomorrow!” Ms. Hyori continued

 

--YURI’S P.O.V—

What the- Did I hear that right? Aaahhhhh! I’m so happy! Kekekeke! ^____^ wait, why am I happy? Anyways, I’ll have the chance to get to know you more! Yes!!!! This is the chance to prove me that what Sooyoung said about you was wrong… I don’t really think you’re that cold. Well, I’m really looking forward on working with you!!! Teehee

 

--YOONA’S P.O.V—

I’ve arrived home. Ack, I’m so tired. I’m gonna take a swim at the pool to clear my mind

*in the pool*

We’re partners for the project. I feel really happy and excited about it but one thing’s bothering me.. Jessica. It seems like she likes Yuri. Aahhh, what am I gonna do? Sica’s my bestfriend but I can’t help my feelings for Yuri. Ever since I saw her in the plane on the way to Japan I was completely love struck.

 

--FLASHBACK—

 

As I was about to sit in my assigned seat, I couldn’t help but notice this beautiful girl sitting next to my seat. She’s sound asleep. She has a nice nose and kissable lips. She looks like an angel sleeping. Aaahh, could this be love at first sight?

I sat in my seat slowly and gently not wanting to awaken the sleeping beauty next to me. I kept on looking at her ‘till she murmured something. I guess she’s having a bad dream.

“uhhm. Are you okay, miss?” I asked sweetly

After she said some words, I had to walk away… Why? Well, ofcourse to hide my bright red ckeeks.It would be so embarrassing when she saw my red face so I ran. Where? To the back. Stupid me. What was I gonna do there? Nothing. I just stood there and when I saw a vacant seat, I quickly sat there. My feet hurt from all the standing. Yeah I did that just to avoid her. I was too “SHY”. Pathetic, I know

 

--END OF FLASHBACK—

 

And then after that, we met again in the streets of Seoul. Well, bumped in actually. She accidentally poured her drink on my clothes. My shirt was soaking wet. But after I saw her face and heard her voice again, I didn’t feel any anger. Instead, I felt butterflies especially when she wiped off the liquid from my shirt using her tissue. She was really cute doing that. But then again I had to go. ‘Cause yeah I was starting to heat up. My cheeks would be visibly red if I hadn’t run in time. Good thing Tiffany was there with her car. Thank You Fany-ah! You saved me from embarrassment! I owe her one XD

 

And when she introduced herself in class. Damn she’s looks so hot in the school uniform. Hehe my bad. I mean she looks so pretty *as usual* her smile when she stood in front. That smile. Oh how I wish she would smile at me like that. I felt millions of butterflies in my tummy but tried my best to hide it so that no one would notice .I kept on stealing glances at her. Who couldn’t keep their eyes off her? She’s just too eye-catching. Lol  I didn’t want her to catch me looking. That would be embarrassing

 

Now, she’s gonna be MY partner in making the project. I can’t even stand looking at her. I hope I can manage my tummy and won’t make a fool of myself when we’re together. So It’s gonna be like a Date? Wait what? A date? You’re getting a little ahead of yourself there Yoon. More like a get-to-know-each-other-and-also-making-project date XD Gahhh I just hope everything turns out great tomorrow.
