Taemin remembered about a beautiful woman who once he had called mother. For taemin, a family is father, mother and him. Not two fathers and then him as a son. He was barely  12 years old when his father introduced  him, a young male with a pretty feline eyes smiling at him. At first Taemin thought he was his father’s bestfriend or just a partner at his father’s work place. But later he knew, that the person was more than just his father’s friend.

“Taemin, please greet uncle Kibum”

And taemin obeyed his father. He obeyed him like a filial son had should be.  This uncle Kibum smiled sweetly at him, and Taemin replied him with an awkward one.

Since that day he saw a alot of time Kibum always with his father. He would sometimes spent the weekend with them, whether it was having a vacation together or just staying at home, watching movie with them and cooking for both his father and Taemin. It was until taemin caught his father kissing Kibum made Taemin eventually knew that his father and Kibum were dating.

Taemin wasn’t fool, he knew what did that mean. It was not about knowing his father was gay that disappointing him. It was the feeling of his father had forgotten his mother by loving someone else that hurt him bad. For 10 years taemin had his father’s love. He felt betrayed. Taemin was afraid he’d lose his father’s love because of Kibum. He had lost his mother, he didn’t want to lose his father. He didn’t want another father.

But what could he say when his father told him that night that he’s going to marry Kibum? Nothing. He never dare to say his disliking toward Kibum because he knew his father loved him. He noticed the way his father looked at him, which made him sick. But Taemin couldn’t lie, his father looked happier since Kibum had appeared in his life.  So he only stayed silent when his father asked for his permission, instead he just gave a hatefull stare at Kibum who was standing next to his father, until the smile on Kibum’s face slowly disappeared and Taemin took that time to walk away and slam the door shut harder than he intended, missing the sight of sad expression on Kibum’s face.
