Behind Our Smiles Trivia
1. I originally didn't have a big secret about Chen when I first wrote the story, I thought about him coming from an abusive household, but I didn't have the background information about him.
2. Chen's brother Xiumin was going to remain dead, but I thought that it could cause more problems if he actually wasn't dead after all.
3. Lay wasn't going to be another brother, but I felt that having another brother would cause some more conflict
4. I did want Luhan to play a bigger part in Ellie's love life, as well as Kris, but there was just too much going on with Ellie in the story
5. I did think about having Jiyeon and Kris end up together.
6. I did want to have a better ending that included everyone, but I also wanted Ellie and Chen to have their alone time to solidify their relationship with one another and thus just briefly mentioned everyone else
7. I was going to possibly have Ellie and Kris be in a relationship in the end, but thought that maybe it would be better to have Kris get married and start his own life after the accident
8. There was a possiblity of Chen not coming back to Ellie for a while, but figured that that wouldn't be very nice and figured that two years would probably be sufficient
9. The ending chapter was going to have a bigger time jump than just a year in the future. I was thinking about doing it possibly at Chen and Ellie's wedding, or another milestone of theirs
So, this is the end of Behind Our Smiles. I sincerely thank everyone that read this story. At first I didn't think that this story was really interesting and it didn't really have anything going for it, but strangely, people seemed to like it, haha. Thank you all for intently reading and helping me find where I made a typo or if I didn't clarify something well. I hope I met all of your expectations with this story and its many questions.
And so, here is the final chapter of the story. Who knows, I might see some of you again.
