Park Sunyoung can’t help but feel a little overshadowed by her members. She doesn’t want to feel this way, but sometimes she becomes so incredibly aware of it that it hurts.

It’s not their fault that Krystal, Victoria, and Sulli are regarded as extraordinarily beautiful, or that Amber was loved by all because of her unique image. The former three are frequently named as the ideal types of handsome male celebrities. To top that off, Sulli is a seasoned actress, Victoria is the most graceful and flexible dancer, Amber is one of the most sociable and friendly members of the group, and Krystal, no matter how hard she tried to escape it, was one of two Jung sisters in the industry.

She’s just Luna, the short girl in f(x) who hits the high notes once every song. She’s a powerful dancer, she thinks—that’s why SM recruited her anyway, but that is rarely recognized either. She’s just average in appearance, the only thing she really has is her smile. So she tries to charm the world with her personality, but she quickly learns that in this business, looks always come first. She comes to terms with it, and keeps going in despite of it, but she can’t help but wonder if this is all she’ll ever be regarded as.

Unfortunately, these realizations have done a number on her self-esteem. She is no doubt a hopeless romantic, but with so many more beautiful women to choose from, what chance does she have?
